“Luna is fantastic and such a good caregiver for my Blu! She sends pics and keeps me updated on her activities throughout the day! I feel so good when I go out of town knowing that she is well cared for at Lunas house. Thank you for loving on our Blu!”

“Aubree is warm and caring. Her home is welcoming. It is located near a trail and she walked my dog there daily. My dog seemed relaxed and well cared for when I picked him up. And reportedly never missed a meal. I would heartily recommend Aubree to anyone looking for a kind, caring dog sitter.”

“I had a last minute trip and booked with Whitney! Which was great because sometimes you worry about being able to find someone on such short notice.. especially since I have such a large dog. She was amazing and I highly recommend! She kept me updated everyday with texts and pics and made sure my dog took his vitamins!! I will use her again if I can!”

“Krishna and her whole family loved on our Cosmo. He was happy and bouncing around when we picked him up. Always nice to have a host express how much they liked watching your dog.”

“Karli is professional, easy to work with, responsive, and caring. Our dog doesn’t like to be boarded usually which is why we brought him along on our Zion trip. But he quickly adjusted and enjoyed his time with Karli and family.”

“Jaren took great care of my dog! I could tell she was well loved, played with and cared for. I think she had as much fun while we were gone as we did. I appreciated the updates during her stay as well as check-ins to make sure the activities they did were appropriate for her. I’d definitely leave her with Jaren in the future.”

“My dogs had such a great time with Brennon! He took great care them and had great communication as well. We got many pictures which is awesome when you’re away from your pets! I highly recommend him.”

“Brittany is a lifesaver! We were camping in Zion and the AC went out in our camper, so our dog was basically on the verge of heat stroke. I contacted her and within a little over an hour, Buster was safe safely at her air conditioned home less than 30 minutes away 🥰 She also sent us pictures and updates. Definitely recommend Brittany and her family!”
About: I am a stay at home mom to 5 kids. They love dogs and your dog will get plenty of attention. We have a 4 year old soft coated wheaten terrier. She is super friendly and loves to play with other dogs. She had puppies last summer the kids and I are comfortable and know how to take care of puppies and dogs. Unfortunately we can only care for non shedding or hypoallergenic dogs. We prefer dogs who sleep in a kennel at night. I am a stay at home mom so I’m available most times and can let your dog out frequently for potty breaks. I am flexible. We have a fenced yard with plenty of space for your pet to play. I can also come to your home and take care of your pet there.
“Sunny had a great time at Marlon’s! They kept me informed with texts and pictures while we were out of the country for a week. It was so nice to know that my fur baby was in good hands. They have a fenced in back yard, but also took Sunny for walks to get out his extra energy. I would highly recommend! ?”

“Nila was so happy with Rachel and Scott, made some new friends, and return very calm. They always shared with me some fun videos and photos. Nila was so happy, so I was happy”

“Rachelle and her family were awesome. Our puppy had a great time at their home and they were so good about sharing updates as well as pictures and really made us feel good about leaving her in their care! We would definitely have them watch her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Saint George
Lindsay was amazing with my cat. She was super flexible and sent regular picture updates. My kitty did not want to come home! A big plus was that she was super clean, I think she had a bath before I came to get her. I would highly recommend her home for pets, she’s now our official sitter

Katelyn, Jared and their boys did a great job caring for our dog (Echo) for a week while we were touring the “Mighty Five” national parks in southern Utah. Echo got tons of love, exercise and attention. Katelyn sent regular photos and updates. It was especially great to have Echo exposed to young children, as that was not something she’d had the opportunity to do.

Cameron is a great pet sitter! You can tell that he loves animals & they know it too. He was very accommodating with out schedule & did everything that we asked. We received a photo of our happy dog, Sadie, while they were out walking. Cameron sent us several texts while we were gone just to let us know she was well & had adjusted to his house & family. Cameron works from home, so she wasn't left on her own for long periods of time. He has a fenced backyard & lives near a golf course & park. Cameron only sits for one dog at a time, so Sadie got lots of attention. We will definitely board her there again, with the peace of mind that she's getting a vacation too. Thank you Cameron!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
