Several years ago, when we had left on a short vacation, I had inadvertently not completely closed the parrot’s cage. When Amanda arrived that evening to feed the little guys, one had escaped and was found wondering on the floor. Without any panic, she found a stick, called for the bird to “step up” and gently put her back in the cage. In short, she treated our little parrots as if it was her own and that example along with her trustworthiness is why we have relied on Amanda since 2015. We trust no one with our birds except for Amanda and the vet.”

“Our dog is named Ryker, and he’s very sweet, but also very nervous about getting cleaned or having his nails trimmed. He is a medium sized pit bull mix, and a shelter rescue dog; he came to our family with some learned nervousness, and an old injury in one of his legs, so he can be pretty sensitive about his paws being touched. Adrianna is our go-to person for any task that could otherwise worry or panic our dog, most frequently grooming and nail trimming; she is skilled and gentle with animals, and takes care to be quick and careful with his paws until it’s over and he can relax. Adrianna also interacts well with our two cats. One tends to be skittish with people outside our family, and the fact that she trusts Adrianna enough to be around her without panicking speaks well of their interactions to us. Adrianna is knowledgeable about pet health, and when we have questions about dietary choices or medication choices or dosages for pets, she’s one of the first people we ask. All in all, if we were to need our pets looked after while we were away, Adrianna would be our first choice to do it. I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver.”

About: I have been obsessed with dogs since I was little and I love every kind. My husband and I don’t think we should get a dog yet but I love having them around! I am working online so I have plenty of time to be able to take care of your dog. I will go on walks, even runs if you dogs wants to. I have a shared grass area that is unfenced. There is room to play fetch outside and have fun. I also have a really close park!

“Gabriella dog sat our two dogs on multiple occasions. She was always the first person we asked to sit for us when needed. She quickly established a great rapport with our dogs and took very good care of them for multiple days at a time. One of our dogs doesn’t take to people very easily but Gabriella was able to make a quick connection with her which made us feel great about using her to care for our dogs. The other was very old and needed a little extra attention which Gabriella provided. She stayed at our home and was able to juggle working odd ours at a regular job and then coming to our home to attend to their needs. She communicated with us consistently and kept our worries at bay by giving us updates that everything was going well. I would highly recommend her to take care of someone’s pets and even their home if needed. She earned our trust and our pets trust which means the world to us.”

About: I have taken care of animals since a very young age. There’s a few dogs in my family, and one of them has had 2 litters of puppies that my family and I had to take care of. Additionally, I have watched many animals for my friends and family. I’ve provided medication for older cats and dogs, took small and big dogs on walks, and handled puppies less than a week old. I have followed a feeding and play schedule for several dogs and cats that I have watched as well. I am a full-time college student who is looking for ways to pay my tuition. My classes are in the middle of the day, Monday-Thursday. However, I have lots of free time that I am willing to give up for your fluffy friends! I am willing to come to a client’s home and follow a feeding schedule, play time, and whatever else you wish! I can also board your fluffy friends in my home if that is what you are looking for! My two little pups keep to themselves and sleep majority of the day, so they wouldn’t be a problem.

About: I’ve been around animals for nearly my entire life. Growing up my responsibilities were making sure the dogs and cats stayed fed. I also had the responsibility to litter train my cat Evie. I also love building trust and bonding with animals. I work part time jobs and it allows me to have so much more time for taking care of your pets!! I am most available in the early morning and the evening! I ensure that every pet is treated properly and is kept safe. If owners have requests about their pets then I am more than willing to follow those requests. I want the owner to trust me with taking care of their animals!
