About: Our family has always had dogs, we love going out on walks and adventures, especially now that it’s summer time we’ll be able to spend the whole day home with them. My kids are older and have always been around dogs and love giving lots of belly rubs and treats if allowed. We know it's hard to leave a piece of your heart when you have to go and they cant come with you, so we would love to be the family that gives you peace of mind that your pet will be absolutely loved and taken care of until you can be with them again. Currently this summer we will always have someone home to make sure your fur-baby is taken very well care of. Lots of belly rubs, snuggles and adventures and your fur-baby’s safety with the heat is most important. Would be happy to let your pup sleep however is most comfortable for them. We also make sure to get them out every day whether it’s an early walk before the sun warms things up to much or a later evening adventure we’re happy to accommodate. And love a long walk in the evenings.
About: I have had fur babies while raising my 6 kids for the last 15 years. I am skilled in grooming, training, breeding, administering vaccinations and medications. I work from home and I’m able to spend a lot of time often caring for your animal. I have open green spaces in my neighbors for lots of play time and tons of walking trails. About: I’ve had many doggies in my family since I was five. Since I’m a paraplegic (going on five years now) and I have an ESA medium sized doodle, we would love a low-key playmate to share our adventures with—even if it’s just cuddling up on the couch, watching a movie. Being a paraplegic, I have access to my own door to the fenced in backyard from my bedroom. My parents are always home—which is where they also work—and would provide help with cuddles during our nightly movie fests. (Note: we prefer well trained, good natured, willing-to-be-low-key, but able to run at least two miles doggies. A love of Charlie Chaplin, like my dog, is optional) Daily, my Hairy and I go on walks—me on a three wheel scooter OR a three wheel bike, and never ever if it’s more than 100 degrees. Lots of treats, loves, cuddles, and relaxation provided with a varied fenced-in backyard are always at hand. Fenced yard, fountains, maybe 25 trees, no cats (bleah!), grass galore, and stairs to explore! Our kiddo Bennett had a wonderful time with Sheila! She (and her husband) are very sweet, caring people and Bennett, who is quite people shy, felt instantly comfortable with them. Their dog Benny is a nice, older schnauzer who is welcoming of other dogs and pretty much keeps to himself and his routine so no dog needs to be worried about being overwhelmed by him. We had to change our plans at the last minute and Sheila was happy to accommodate a new date for us. When we drove up to pick up Bennett he was even returning from a walk - that’s something you don’t get from a large daycare! We are so happy to have found Sheila and when we are in the area we will definitely have Bennett stay with her at her quiet, very dog-friendly house.
