“My dog & I love Cindy, her husband & dog! Cindy is literally the sweetest. My fur baby gets more excited to see her than he does me haha! I don’t trust just anyone w my dog- soooo happy we found her. Already looking forward to next time”

About: I’m very big on routines, attention, and making pets feel comfortable fast. I also send plenty of updates so owners never have to worry about their fur babies. Weekend pet buddy available for walks, belly rubs, snack duty, playtime, cleanup, and giving pets lots of love and attention all day long while you're away. I treat every pet like family - keeping their routine, giving extra cuddles, sending updates, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, deeply loved while you're away.
“Here’s a review you could post on Rover: “I want to thank Amy for taking such great care of my puppy, Blu, for the day! It was my first time leaving her, and Amy made me feel so much more comfortable. I loved the updates and adorable pictures she sent—Blu looked like she was having such a fun time! It was clear that Amy genuinely cared for Blu, and I could see how happy and relaxed my puppy was in her care. I truly appreciated the peace of mind knowing Blu was in such good hands. Thank you, Amy!””

“The Hintons accommodated my early drop off and my sometimes rowdy puppy so flawlessly! So thankful to have found them. My puppy is happy and exhausted from playing all day. I will definitely use them again when we need dog sitting! Thank you so much!”

About: My family LOVES animals and will make sure your pet feels right at home! We want your pet to be excited to come back to stay with us! We have a fully fenced backyard with lots of room for playtime. We will play fetch, go on walks, and make sure your pet gets plenty of fun! After they’re all tuckered out from play, we’ll make sure they’re given lots of snuggles, love and attention. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I take the time to learn your pet’s unique routine, personality, and needs so they receive the same love, attention, and care they’re used to while you’re away! I’m a stay-at-home mom with two kids, ages 9 and 14, who share my love for animals. Being home most of the day allows me to give your pet the time, attention, and care they deserve! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! We have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and a friendly Goldendoodle who loves making new friends. Whether your pet enjoys playtime or prefers a quiet place to relax, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable and secure.
About: Our family has always had dogs, we love going out on walks and adventures, especially now that it’s summer time we’ll be able to spend the whole day home with them. My kids are older and have always been around dogs and love giving lots of belly rubs and treats if allowed. We know it's hard to leave a piece of your heart when you have to go and they cant come with you, so we would love to be the family that gives you peace of mind that your pet will be absolutely loved and taken care of until you can be with them again. Currently this summer we will always have someone home to make sure your fur-baby is taken very well care of. Lots of belly rubs, snuggles and adventures and your fur-baby’s safety with the heat is most important. Would be happy to let your pup sleep however is most comfortable for them. We also make sure to get them out every day whether it’s an early walk before the sun warms things up to much or a later evening adventure we’re happy to accommodate. And love a long walk in the evenings.
About: I have had fur babies while raising my 6 kids for the last 15 years. I am skilled in grooming, training, breeding, administering vaccinations and medications. I work from home and I’m able to spend a lot of time often caring for your animal. I have open green spaces in my neighbors for lots of play time and tons of walking trails. I have a fenced in backyard and two doodles who are well trained and very friendly. I have two teenagers who also love dogs and spending time caring for animals

About: I’ve had many doggies in my family since I was five. Since I’m a paraplegic (going on five years now) and I have an ESA medium sized doodle, we would love a low-key playmate to share our adventures with—even if it’s just cuddling up on the couch, watching a movie. Being a paraplegic, I have access to my own door to the fenced in backyard from my bedroom. My parents are always home—which is where they also work—and would provide help with cuddles during our nightly movie fests. (Note: we prefer well trained, good natured, willing-to-be-low-key, but able to run at least two miles doggies. A love of Charlie Chaplin, like my dog, is optional) Daily, my Hairy and I go on walks—me on a three wheel scooter OR a three wheel bike, and never ever if it’s more than 100 degrees. If it’s 90-100 degrees, I thoroughly hose down my doggie and bring lots of water, and aim for a trail or park with lots of grass. If your dog is well mannered, I will let them loose and we can play with the ball.) My parents and I all work our individual jobs at home. I’m a writer in a wheelchair with my dog Hairy, who is in every respect like the hero we all have read about and adore. As I work on my computer, Hairy sits on his bed in the corner, waiting for another doggie boarder to play with! Yet, daily, your dog and mine would get at least two walks/bike rides/3 wheeled scooter rides so they get exposure to the world outside. (Some soaking down may be required for heat purposes.) Lots of treats, loves, cuddles, and relaxation provided with a varied fenced-in backyard are always at hand. Fenced yard, fountains, maybe 25 trees, no cats (bleah!), grass galore, and stairs to explore! Inside our environment is a working from home angelic nurse practitioner mom, a hard working engineer dad, and a writer (that’s me! Find my first book on Amazon called Prelude in N Minor as well as my other books!).
About: Hi there! My name is Briana, and I’ve spent the past 15 years working with both personal and professional clients, caring for animals of all ages and nearly every breed. From bathing and walking to behavioral training, I’ve done it all. I also worked as a Veterinary Technician for nearly two years. I’m a proud full-time mom to a sweet and curious my 7-year-old daughter, who’s already learning how to care for animals with kindness—she’s going to be a pro one day! We live in a small, pet-friendly apartment. in Saint George with our two cats Odie and Bunny. All of our pets are incredibly friendly and gentle with new animals and people. Growing up, I helped raise 15 dogs of various breeds on our family-owned land, where I gained hands-on experience with animal behavior, care, and training. All that walking turned into running, and I ended up training for track in high school—so walking your pup is something I genuinely enjoy! I’m experienced with dogs, cats, senior pets, and pets with special needs. I’m happy to host your furry friend in my home as long as they’re comfortable around kids and other pets. Crating is absolutely okay if needed. You’ll also get regular photo updates and messages so you can feel confident your fur baby is safe, happy, and loved. I have a beautiful 6 old daughter that I look after full time. We will have plenty of time to play and work with your animals. We have a small fenced dog park on the property I live in a small apartment I have 3 cats are so super friendly. Pet can be crated if needed. My home is fun and safe. Can go on my bed and couch!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saint George
Jennifer was awesome!! I was so nervous to leave my puppy after a bad experience with a different rover and Jennifer took the time to make me and my puppy comfortable. My dog came back happy and healthy and no signs of anxiety at all!! 10/10 would recommend her to everyone and absolutely will use her again!!

Brenda was fantastic with our senior cattle dog. She made him the center of her world for the day and we received multiple updates throughout his doggy daycare stay. Tucker had a great time exploring and Brenda was a 5-star communicator. We would absolutely use her services over and over again! Highly recommend!

Our kiddo Bennett had a wonderful time with Sheila! She (and her husband) are very sweet, caring people and Bennett, who is quite people shy, felt instantly comfortable with them. Their dog Benny is a nice, older schnauzer who is welcoming of other dogs and pretty much keeps to himself and his routine so no dog needs to be worried about being overwhelmed by him. We had to change our plans at the last minute and Sheila was happy to accommodate a new date for us. When we drove up to pick up Bennett he was even returning from a walk - that’s something you don’t get from a large daycare! We are so happy to have found Sheila and when we are in the area we will definitely have Bennett stay with her at her quiet, very dog-friendly house.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
