“So glad I’ve had the chance to have Jaren watch my English bulldog. Even though my dog is an easy dog to get along with, Jaren was awesome with her. My dog had a great time at his house, and I’ll definitely reach out to him again the next time I’m out of town.”

About: I am a stay at home mom to 5 kids. They love dogs and your dog will get plenty of attention. We have a 4 year old soft coated wheaten terrier. She is super friendly and loves to play with other dogs. She had puppies last summer the kids and I are comfortable and know how to take care of puppies and dogs. Unfortunately we can only care for non shedding or hypoallergenic dogs. We prefer dogs who sleep in a kennel at night. I am a stay at home mom so I’m available most times and can let your dog out frequently for potty breaks. I am flexible. We have a fenced yard with plenty of space for your pet to play. I can also come to your home and take care of your pet there.
“Rachel and Scott took great care of my dog over the weekend. He seemed very relaxed when I picked him up and I also got a cute little video of him at the park while I was away. Thanks so much!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have experience with both small and large dogs. My husband and I have our own dog, Bruno, and I love taking him on walks, hikes, swimming, and to the dog park. I’m currently doing school online, so I’m home and able to give dogs a lot of attention, playtime, and care. I also have a doggy door and fenced yard so dogs can safely go in and out to play throughout the day. I make sure dogs get outside daily, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just getting fresh air and exercise. I’m open to all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I’d love to make your dog feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away! Like I said, I am doing online school so I will be home all the time. I had to find a sitter last minute on my way to St George and wasn't going to be arriving until later that night. Thankfully Jay and his family were able to accommodate us despite already having another client! While we didn't meet Jay directly because of the late arrival, Yvon and their daughter took such good care of our Daisy girl! We were given plenty of updates and the communication was an A+. It was so nice knowing our dog was in such capable and caring hands. It really allowed us to enjoy our time. Thank you!!

Once again, Jennifer came through for us when we needed her. We had to travel to a family funeral at the last minute and we were so happy that we were able to leave our elderly shih-tzu Bruce with her. It was such a relief that we didn't have to worry about him while we were worrying about everything else. Thanks, Jennifer! 💚💙🩵💜

Lindsay was amazing with my cat. She was super flexible and sent regular picture updates. My kitty did not want to come home! A big plus was that she was super clean, I think she had a bath before I came to get her. I would highly recommend her home for pets, she’s now our official sitter

Brennon was fantastic! Our dog came home happy and tired. Tge communication was fantastic and we were sent pictures and videos each day with a message on how she was doing and the daily activities. We will definitely use Brennon again when needed for our dog boarding and activities.

We had such a great experience with Tiffany! She took amazing care of our dog and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
