“Angela was incredible! Even though she lives further away than she usually travels for pet sitting, she volunteered to help and took excellent care of my cats when another sitter fell through at the last minute. She was communicative, sent loads of photos, and made sure London and Megara were well cared for. I will definitely be welcoming Angela back the next time I travel!”

About: I’ve been around pets most of my life! I currently have two kitty’s of my own and have helped care for my dad’s cats and dogs since I was 11. I’m experienced with feeding, playtime, and giving lots of love and attention. I work Monday through Friday from 8–5, so I’m available early mornings, afternoons during my lunch break, and the rest of the evenings during the week. Weekends are more open, which means your pets get plenty of extra love, playtime, and attention! Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I make sure every pet is cared for, and secure, whether that means giving them space or extra cuddles. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and love I give my own, keeping things clean, safe, and stress-free.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets for 6+ years! I have 3+ years of veterinary background at Texas A&M University and additional vet pharmacy experience from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. I have experience administering medications including pilling and house-sitting! I am currently on remote rotation for my Pharm.D. program, so I am very flexible in my hours throughout the week! I am willing to stop by or stay to house-sit as well. I am in an apartment that doesn't allow pets, but I am willing to pet sit in your home, house-sit, or wherever you need it. I can also come in and let out the pets for potty breaks, or administer medications.
“Isabella was extremely thorough and communicative, always letting me know when she was headed over and how the cats were doing. She sent photos, called when she had questions, and made sure to have all the details clear and correct. She even came back on an extra unscheduled visit to make sure one of my cats with an eye problem was doing okay. I would highly recommend her!”

“Skylar is truly incredible and amazing! My kitty loves her and I could not be happeir with Skylar's communication and flexibility on checking in!! I will absolutely use her again”

“Justin accepted our request on short notice, which we "greatly" appreciated. He came to the house ahead of our departure to meet and receive feeding instructions. Justin visited twice daily and stayed a full half hour each visit to provide play time, etc. He also emailed us pictures after each visit, which we grew to look forward to receiving. I highly recommend Justin. He provided a professional and friendly service. Thank you Justin, you are the best of the best! P.S. We will give you more notice before our next trip :-) Jack & Charlotte”

About: I have hands on experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic young animals to seniors who need extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable following structured feeding routines, administering medications, and providing attentive care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I can care for a wide range of animals from dogs and cats to birds, hamsters, and beyond. I grew up on a farm surrounded by many different animals, which gave me a strong foundation in animal care, responsibility, and understanding animal behavior. I focus on keeping pets calm, comfortable, and stress free by caring for them in their own home and maintaining the routines they’re used to. Reliability, cleanliness, and clear communication are priorities for me, and I treat every pet and home as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I attend school and run my main business primarily remotely, which gives me flexibility to plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, medication needs, and overnight stays. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to be present, punctual, and attentive throughout the day and evening. I prioritize consistency and reliability so pets experience minimal disruption while their owners are away, and I’m comfortable adjusting my availability to meet each pet’s specific needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress free. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter boxes or habitats, administer medications if needed, and give pets the appropriate level of attention and companionship based on their personality. I’m respectful of each home and keep the space clean and secure while I’m there. For overnight stays, I make sure pets feel safe and settled, especially in the evenings and mornings when routines matter most. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.
“Could not have asked for better care for my 2 cats. Very communicative, took actual notes during the meet and greet, totally conscientious and thoughtful. Left such detailed notes for each visit and numerous pictures that made me feel perfectly at ease being away. Could not recommend any higher, sincerely.”

“Kaydince did an excellent job caring for our 2 young cats. Our cat that is scared of most people came out of hiding and socialized with her during every visit. Kaydince has excellent response time when communicating and was patient with my overabundance of concerns and instructions.”

“She provided great feedback, I booked her for my dog and had a kitty too and she even helped out with the kitty. Took my dog on great walks and ensured she was well cared for! Will definitely book again with Rebecca.”

About: Hi! I’m Becca, and my family and I are huge animal lovers. We live an active, outdoor-loving lifestyle. We do lots of walks, hikes, park visits and backyard play. Your pet will fit right in with our busy, loving home! Experience & Care I have years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m patient, confident, and comfortable with everything from energetic pups to older dogs who need a gentler pace. I grew up on a ranch raising dogs, cats, goats, horses, chickens, and much much more. The best days growing up were taking dogs through the pastures while riding beside them on my favorite horse named “Fred.” We bred and trained Australian shepherds, so I have a soft spot for those fluffy ones :) My love and passion for farm life carried me through college as I got my bachelors degree in Animal Science. What Your Pet Can Expect Your dog will get: • Plenty of walks and outdoor time • Tons of love and attention from my family • A safe, clean home with lots of space to play • Reliable communication and photo updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing 🌟 Why Owners Love Booking With Me With seven kids who adore animals, your dog gets treated like part of the family. We truly enjoy having pets around and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and included in our daily routine. I’d love to meet your furry friend and make their stay fun, active, and stress-free. Reach out anytime with questions I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is open and flexible so your pup will never be left alone for too long. I have a fenced in backyard that has lots of shade, where your dog can run and play. I love going for walks and playing fetch!
About: Not only have I raised and kept animals all my life, including my own bundle of cats and a dog that I currently call family, I have also worked several years professionally caring for animals in day cares, boarding houses, and even get clinics. I am well versed in making sure animals get their medicine as they are required, and just ensuring the animals are happy and comfortable. I currently work evenings five days a week, starting at 5pm. But that means I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies during the day! I am not able to do any boarding (I currently house 4 cats and a dog), but I am very flexible with following any guidelines or requests! I am able to administer pills to both cats and dogs, and love to spend time either cuddling or playing with animals.

Christina has been thoroughly attentive and passionate throughout her time in my home and has sent extensive proof. She went the extra mile for us without being asked multiple times and it feels like we can't pay her enough for all she does. Wonderful sitter for any kind of pet. <3

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
