About: On top of being a being a pet owner since I was 11 years old and owning my own pup since I was 20 years old, I worked in a doggy day care for 3 years and volunteer at an animal shelter for 7 years. My pup has done classes starting puppy kindergarten all the way to her canine good citizen certification. I work overnights and am able from 11am to 3pm. I’m available to Monday thru Friday for walks and drop ins. This is usually a time I’m doing things at home or relaxing before work. My pup is crated but we are working on being out and about in the home. In the end, it’s all about what’s safest for the fur baby!

“Aimee was great and attentive with walking our 2.5 year old corgi. Prompt responses and availability at short notice was much appreciated! We would definitely rebook but sadly we are moving. Thank you Aimee for your kind care 😊”

“Lori did a great job taking care of my best friend Ollie, feeding him and taking him on walks. Her son was a big help on their walks and Ollie was always happy to see them:) Lori is a very nice lady and is very dedicated to taking care of our best friends and I would totally recommend her to anyone needing someone to watch their pets.”

About: Provided dog walking and sitting services to a professor at my school. Provided a family friend’s dog with potty breaks, meals, and playtime while they were away. Own two dogs of my own. I take care of two dogs, two cats, and two guinea pigs. However we also have a turtle and two parakeets in my home as well. Every day I feed the cats and guinea pigs. Dogs need to be taken outside often. Guinea pigs need their bedding changed weekly. I will make sure all instructions are followed to a T. I understand how specific pet owners are about their pet’s needs. Dogs will receive plenty of pets, cuddles, and playtime while time when I’m around. Attentive care is my goal.

About: Professional Pet Snuggler, Dog Walker Extraordinaire, and Treat Giver Supreme 🐾 I’m a mom of two young wild and wonderful kids (three, if you count my husband 😄) and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve lived with pets so long, I’m basically fluent in meow, woof, and squeak. With over 5 years of dog-walking experience, I’m comfy with pups of all sizes — from pocket-sized pooches to gentle giants. I’m also totally cool with cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even horses. If it has fur (or whiskers), I’m in! Whether your pup needs a brisk walk, your cat needs a snack and a snuggle, or your pet rat just wants someone to chat with — I’ve got you covered. I treat every animal like part of the family (and yes, I do talk to them like they’re tiny humans). Ready to bring joy, treats, and tummy rubs — can’t wait to meet your whiskered pal! As a stay-at-home mom, part-time admin, and dance instructor, I’m no stranger to juggling schedules — and I’ve got the flexibility to fit in pet care when you need it most. Whether it’s during the school year or the summer shuffle, I can usually make it work. Need a midday walk? A last-minute drop-in? A cuddle buddy for your cat while you’re away? I’ve got you covered! I don’t offer pet sleepovers at my place (our house is already a zoo!), but I’m more than happy to come to yours. Your pets will stay comfy in their own cozy corners while I handle the food, walks, belly rubs, and more. I'm super respectful of your home and always treat it like it’s my own. I’m also very mindful of home safety and security — you can count on me to treat your space with respect and care while you’re away.

“We have used Jillian’s dog walking services a handful of times and she always keeps us well informed of how the visit goes. She gets along great with our pup and takes great care of him.”

“Alex is great with Emmy and lets her lead (stubborn girl!). He also is really responsive and flexible - great to work with to care for our somewhat reactive dog.”

“Connie was awesome with Flyer and great at communicating with me! She was more than willing to come by before the time I needed her in order to meet Flyer and give him a short walk so that he could become comfortable with her. I will definitely be reaching out to her first the next time I need someone to watch my dog!”

About: Hi! My name is Faith and I’m a passionate animal lover with 10 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. From energetic puppies to senior cats, I’ve helped families keep their furry friends safe, healthy, and happy. I’m currently available Monday through Friday but will not be available Sundays typically I am available most Saturday mornings. I am available weekdays all day! I have a lot of experience with dogs and pay very close attention to detail. Making sure they have water and are fed on time, taken on walks and treat time is important !

About: I’ve cared for family dogs and a cat my whole life, including senior pets with complex needs—so I understand how important patience and gentle care can be. For the past 5 years, I’ve also pet sat for friends and neighbors, from energetic puppies to older animals needing medication or extra help. I recently moved from Atlanta to the Portland area for a full-time job, and leaving my family dogs behind was one of the hardest parts. I work 4 long shifts a week, which makes having a pet of my own tough—but I have plenty of free time, love, and experience to offer yours. Pet sitting and walking helps fill that gap in my heart, and I treat every pet like family. I work full-time Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm, but I’m available for walks or check-ins before or after my shifts. I have open availability on Sundays through Tuesdays and plenty of flexibility to offer quality time with your pet. I’m also available for overnight stays—even on my workdays, as long as I can head out by 8am. Pet care fits naturally into my life, and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. While I can’t have pets in my apartment, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home where they feel most comfortable. I offer overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks, and can help with feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I’m also happy to transport pets if needed. I treat every animal like they’re my own—keeping them safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away.

About: I grew up with many different animals. I am able to provide simple medications. As a pet parent I am able to provide your pets with love! I live in Biddeford but spend most weekends in Windham. I work 8-5 so I am available before and after work. If you are close enough(10 minutes from my home) I will be able to stop by on my lunch break. I am more than happy to stay in your home if needed! I am able to provide a companion while you are away. I can walk your dog, crate them, and feed them. For cats I am able to scoop litter boxes and feed them. Each service will be adjusted to fit the clients needs.

About: I have about a decade's worth of dog-sitting experience and just love dogs. I recently moved to Biddeford from Vermont and have seen lots and lots of cute doggos in our neighborhood.I'm affectionate, perceptive and have a hard time passing by your dogs without saying hello (but I can tell you don't have time, so I just smile from a distance). If you have an extremely quiet and polite dog, I might be able to board at my place, but it is brand new and besides, dogs tend to do best in their own homes. If you're uncomfortable with having a sitter stay overnight, and if your dog tends to sleep like a log, I could spend the day, leave at night and then come back the next morning. (Pls contact for pricing that's specific to your needs; the pricing listed is limited to overnight stays in your home.) In good weather, I like to spend lots of time outside and place exercise as high priority. I also happen to be a neat freak so don't be surprised if I vacuum or wipe counters (on the flipside, your home should be clean enough for a guest to begin with or we're not a good match). I water plants as directed, take in mail, bring my own food and respect other peoples' privacy and property. I'm a creative writer trying to make ends meet without a corporate ladder. I'm currently looking for a part-time job that I'll need to subsidize through dog sitting. Dog sitting is a great way for me to spend quality time with dogs and still possibly have time to both work and write. Dogs make everything better. I wish I had my own, but the timing isn't right. I never accept jobs without meeting in person first, and I don't know whether I'm going to take a job or be offered one until that meeting occurs.

About: Lifelong animal lover, professional treat-giver, and belly-rub expert. Whether your dog needs long sniff-filled walks or your cat just wants someone to respect their throne (and scoop their litter), I’m your person. I’ve cared for everything from high-energy pups to couch-potato cats—and even the occasional goat or chicken. I specialize in personalized care that fits your pet’s unique needs and quirks. Special diets? Meds? Selective social skills? No problem. I adjust to their vibe and routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. While I’m newer to the Rover platform, I’ve been caring for pets for years—mostly through word of mouth and for friends, neighbors, and families who needed someone they could trust. I recently reactivated my account here to expand and connect with more amazing pets (and their humans!). I love staying active and would be thrilled to bring your pup along for beach walks, hiking trails, or just a solid game of fetch in the park—whatever suits their energy level and comfort. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time and energy to give your pet the attention they deserve. I genuinely love being around animals, and it brings me joy to care for them, whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or overnight stay. I’m happy to adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs. I believe pets are happiest in their own space, surrounded by familiar smells, routines, and cozy spots. That’s why I prefer caring for pets in their home—whether it’s house sitting or drop-in visits. It keeps things stress-free for them (and you!). Every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours feel safe, happy, and cared for—whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, playing their favorite game, or just offering quiet company. Have special requests or unique needs? I’m all ears. Let’s work together to create a care plan that feels just right for your furry friend.
