Doggy Day Care in Rosemont, Portland, ME

About: I’ve had my 16 year old dog since he was a puppy. I’ve taken care of many friends and neighbors dogs of all ages and sizes. My fenced in yard makes for the perfect dog paradise. I work from home and I have plenty of time for walks and snuggles. My dog typically goes out 3 times a day so I’m used to keeping a regular schedule but I can adapt to what works best for your pup! I have a fully fenced yard perfect for outings and play. I am also able to take your pup for longer walks as requested. Crates preferred but I have a separate room they can stay in if needed. I have a 16 year old dog so must be able to get along with another dog :)

My dog had the best time there and was taken care of like she was their own (both for doggy day care and weekend boarding). She took her to the dog park multiple times, many walks, always providing updates and sending pictures. Super friendly, responsive, and responsible. Couldn’t recommend more.”

Alma’s dog, Birdy, is super sweet as well. Willow seemed comfortable right away and according to Alma settled in more as the day went on. Great yard, deck for doggie lounging and overall set up from the house (super easy to see the yard from most parts of the downstairs). We will definitely book again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been taking care of and owning dogs, and recently cats, since I was in high school. I have raised and trained dogs from puppyhood into their elder years, and taken care of sick and special needs animals. I have a very flexible schedule as well. I take care of pets every day, and have a very flexible schedule. I love to take care of animals, and also volunteer weekly at the Animal Shelter. I would prefer to take care of pets at the clients home, or outside. I have a large, semi-fenced in yard and always keep an eye out. I will not leave the dog alone to ensure their safety and frequently play with them to avoid boredom.

About: I am new to Portland from Philadelphia. I do have a full-time job as a chaplain in the maritime industry but, I make my own schedule and have plenty of times to walk or take care of pups and or check in on cats. I live off of Forest Ave in the Oakdale section of Portland.. I presently cannot board in my apartment. About: Originally from NH, I am an active, outgoing, responsible dog lover! I have volunteered as a dog walker for a local shelter for 2 years, I dog and house sat with Trusted housesitters for 2 years, I grew up with dogs, and I am the go to dog sitter for friends and coworkers! I have experience with senior special needs pups, and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I work full-time in digital marketing so I am WFH with some great flexibility. Currently I am working remotely here in southern Maine; I am available for walks before work, lunchtime walks, and anytime after 4pm! I currently WFH M-F! Can do early walks, lunchtime strolls, afterwork walks as well. Happy to take your pet on weekend adventures if that is their speed as well. I have a car to get to you but I love walking around (with or without a dog)! I will take your lead (pun intended) on how to best care for your pet! I love to play & exercise them but want to respect your training and routines. I will ask for preferences and details of your pets nature and ability before a sit/walk/visit.

About: Worked as a veterinarian assistant at a veterinarian hospital for 2 years prior to starting medical school. Have a yorkie myself who currently resides with my parents. Have experience with both cats and dogs Currently on summer break from medical school therefore my schedule is a lot more flexible right now. Can work around my schedule to take care of your pet Live in an apartment building, good walking spaces around in the area. Apartment is pet friendly if needed to take your pet in. No animals reside in my apartment so your pet will have full attention

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.
