“I booked last minute and Michaela was super responsive and helpful. Michaela and her partner sent lots of updates and pics. Emmie came home very happy and seemed very comfortable. Would book again!”

About: I’ve had my 16 year old dog since he was a puppy. I’ve taken care of many friends and neighbors dogs of all ages and sizes. My fenced in yard makes for the perfect dog paradise. I work from home and I have plenty of time for walks and snuggles. My dog typically goes out 3 times a day so I’m used to keeping a regular schedule but I can adapt to what works best for your pup! I have a fully fenced yard perfect for outings and play. I am also able to take your pup for longer walks as requested. Crates preferred but I have a separate room they can stay in if needed. I have a 16 year old dog so must be able to get along with another dog :)
“Lindsay was great! She gave us tips on where to find vegan food, where we could park our RV as we were going on a whale watching tour. She took Maddie for walks and sent us pictures. Maddie was very comfortable with Lindsay. Lindsay was always quick to answer when we had questions. We highly recommend her.”
“Gwen was great! We took a last minute holiday trip to Portland and she was able to watch our dogs last minute while we tooled around the city. She lives in a cute, very clean condo about 10 mins from Old Port. Picked up two very happy pups!”

“Our rescue pup Cora has been so well cared for by Alma + Birdy + family - we are so grateful for fun filled days playing in their backyard, going on walks, and chilling while we are at work.”

About: I’ve been taking care of and owning dogs, and recently cats, since I was in high school. I have raised and trained dogs from puppyhood into their elder years, and taken care of sick and special needs animals. I have a very flexible schedule as well. I take care of pets every day, and have a very flexible schedule. I love to take care of animals, and also volunteer weekly at the Animal Shelter. I would prefer to take care of pets at the clients home, or outside. I have a large, semi-fenced in yard and always keep an eye out. I will not leave the dog alone to ensure their safety and frequently play with them to avoid boredom.
“Emily and Kieran took a very good care of our dog! They were very accomodating even on the last minute notice, and were very flexible on the timing, which we really appreciate :) They took Ohsam out for a walk several times, gave lots of loves and cuddles. I can see Ohsam had a great time with the family! Would recommend them during our next visit in Portland. Thank you!!”

“Jasper was incredible when he watched Zulu. Went above and beyond. Took Zulu to the park, went for extra walks, and watched TV with him when they were lounging! When we came back, Jasper and Zulu were waiting for us on Jasper’s porch! Will book again :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, and I’ve worked with all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors and occasionally some reactive dogs. I’m patient, dependable, and treat every dog like my own. I’m currently working part-time from home and getting my master’s degree, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. I love including walks, playtime, and snuggles as part of my daily routine, it’s the best part of my day! I have a small yard and live near a park as well as access to many trails. I make sure all pets are safe, supervised, and comfortable at all times. I can crate your dog if needed and will always follow your specific feeding, walking, or medication instructions to ensure your pet feels right at home.

About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals—at one point, my family had six dogs, and five cats. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and I genuinely love meeting animals! With over 10 years of experience in dog sitting and dog walking, I’m dedicated to making your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness my top priority. You can count on me to give them the attention, affection, and reliable care they deserve. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to help! I currently work part-time in retail, with short shifts of about six hours a few times a week. This schedule gives me plenty of flexibility—and plenty of time to spend quality, attentive care with your pet! I can stay in your home or stop by for visits—whatever works best for you and helps your pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your needs. I do not currently have any animals of my own so I would be glad to welcome them into my home as well. We also have a small unfenced where they can enjoy some additional supervised outdoor time.
“Alexandra was wonderful and an affectionate sitter! She accommodated our crazy schedule when setting up our initial meet and greet. The minute she saw Brooklyn, and Brooklyn saw her, we could tell they were going to enjoy each other's company. Alexandra mentioned her prior experience with dogs and having always been a "dog person". During our trip out of state, Alexandra coordinated closely with our friend who had been caring for Brooklyn long term, while she took Brooklyn for a couple days to allow for our friends to attend a few activities they had planned. I look forward to booking Alexandra again!”

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.
“This was my first time leaving our new adopted puppy with someone. Rachel made it completely stress free. She was so well cared for and exhausted by the end of the day. I especially loved the many updates and pictures. We will definitely use Rachel in the future!”
