Emilia K.
“Emilia is our most DEPENDABLE dogsitter! She is reliable, sends us daily photo updates, and genuinely loves being around our dogs. She is our go-to sitter and I would never use anyone else. If you're looking for a trustworthy and knowledgable dogsitter, look no further. Emilia is the one!”

Andrew L.

“Andrew was very professional, had a screening call (that I appreciated), was super flexible and accommodating with my meeting schedule being ambiguous and ultimately was pushed beyond the time I had communicated. He was friendly, attentive, sent photos and took Lady on an adventure. Loved working with him and am so glad I trusted him with my girl while I was in town. Very pleased!! THANK YOU!”

Nick S.
“We have a 14-year old beagle Nick took care of for several days while were away for a long weekend...our old pup was soooo happy. Nick treated her as if she was his own. He kept us posted daily, sending pictures and video of her playing, lounging at his feet on her favorite dog bed we sent along with her, and exploring his home. We were nervous about sending her to unfamiliar surroundings, but we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Thank you Nick for going above and beyond in making our old girl feel special.”

About: I am a nurse looking for a side gig. I love all animals and treat them like they are my own. I would love to have one of my own but work long hours when i do work. I am very respectful and will follow any rules or wishes you have for your pet or home. I work three 12 hour shifts at the hospital. On my days off I love to walk around the city or go to some trails. I would love to take your pets on my fun day off adventures. I am very responsible and respectful. I understand everyone’s pets have different needs and rules to follow and I will make sure to stick by that.

Tara R.
“Tara has always been a furry friend lover. She even once had her own dog walking business and took care of many different kinds of dogs. She has had cats, and dogs and always provides a healthy environment for them. She loves the outdoors and makes sure your dog gets a lot of long walks, if needed.”

Rachel P.

“Rachel is so accommodating and a great communicator! Took wonderful care of my bulldog”

Susan L.

“I was in town for a show and was looking for someone to look after Kieran. Susan was the perfect match. Kieran is a nervous pup, but he took to Susan immediately! Her dog Blue is a big sweetie and he and Kieran got along right away—did a quick greeting and then we’re off running around the yard. Susan has a nice big yard with a sturdy fence and she very thoughtfully walked me all around and showed me around her place, making sure I was comfortable leaving Kieran with her. She was so responsive and kind—she was understanding when I was running a bit late and she would send me updates as well. When I came to pick up Kieran, it was clear he’d had an amazing time with Blue and Susan—getting plenty of time outside and then some relaxing play inside too. I really appreciated Susan’s detailed summary of the day. I totally recommend booking with Susan and look forward to seeing her and Blue soon!”

Gigi L.
“Gigi has cared for two of our dogs, our golden retriever and our current dog, a French bulldog. She loves our dogs like they are her own. She feeds them, snuggles and plays with them and takes them to the park to play with other dogs. She is wholly focused on their care when she is with them. When they see her, they jump with excitement and absolutely love her. She is dependable, caring, responsible and I would endorse her wholeheartedly.”

About: My family and I have owned dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc for as long as I can remember. I currently am the loving mother of our super-mutt Kaia who is 3 years old and Randy, our very large cat. Dan and I are constantly hiking, traveling, adventuring with Kaia and we will do the same with your furry family member! My family always had animals in the house, and back at my family home we have a 13 y/o. Husky/ Kelpie mix, an 8 y/o. Husky/ German Shepherd mix and 2 little kitties! Previously, my family owned a Chocolate Lab and a Siberian Husky. Over the past 20 years, I have been the go-to person to care for a friend or neighbors' dog/pet ranging from small terriers to large german shepherds for week long visits or for a quick walk around the neighborhood! I will love your dog, cat, little critter as if he/she is my own! As an avid nature lover, I care for all animals, big or small. Your pup will be safe with me! My family dog Sadie also has diabetes, so I am well equipped to administer any medication your furry friend May require. I work from home, so I’m very available to care for your pet whenever you need! We walk Kaia multiple times a day in the neighborhood or in the woods path near our house, so your pet is guaranteed to get a workout! We have a 7ft tall fenced in yard that the dogs can run around in all day! Dogs are allowed on our furniture, but please let us know if they are safe with kitties!

Whitney S.

“Whitney was awesome with our dog when we dropped her off for the day while we moved. She was super kind, had a lovely space and took Mango on some fun outings. Would totally book with her again!”

Melanie R.
“Melanie is fantastic with my pets and truly cares about them as if they were her own! She’s great about sending updates and communicating with me. My pets love her and get so excited every time they see her! I feel comfortable knowing they’re in her care and I can relax because I know they’re safe and happy with her! Can’t say enough good things about Melanie!”

Laurie S.
“I cannot think of a more truly loving and responsible animal owner and caretaker then Laurie Simon. She adores dogs and cares to them like they were her own and that means she cares for them like you do. Caring for animals who miss their owners is Farm more involved Dan feeding them giving them water and getting them fresh air and sunshine. You have to truly enjoy the animals and want to reach them to show them that you care for them. If you cannot be with your dog then Laurie is the next best thing, I assure you.”

Barbara M.

“Bea loved Barbara from their first meeting and had a great day of naps and walks. Barbara was great at communicating and giving updates, as well as taking good care of our pup. Looking forward to another stay.”

Catalina R.
“Catalina is my dog’s favorite walk buddy. She is an animal lover and it shows. She is energetic, responsible and honest. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

Alexander S.

“Alex was great! He sent us pictures of merlin happily playing with his pup and was very responsive through drop-off and arrival. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter :)”

David G.

“We used David when traveling to Portland so we could spend the days doing activities that wouldn't allow dogs. We have only used a sitter once in the past so I was a bit nervous, but had nothing to worry about. David's home was super easy to get to from downtown and he kept us updated with photos throughout the day and very responsive. This was my first time using rover and I love the "Report card" at the end of the day regarding potty breaks and walk details. I wouldn't hesitate to leave our pup with David in the future should we ever return to Portland!”

Christian L.

“Always awesome! So caring and flexible!”

About: I started taking care of my own animals at a very young age. I found a lot of joy in it, due to that I progressed into fostering kittens, then pet sitting as I got older. I've dealt with anything from dogs to sugar gliders and everything in between! I've also done intensive care for kittens as young as four weeks old, and dogs that are 19 years old. I'm up for a short walk around the block or a two mile run, whatever makes your babies feel at home while in my care. Please let me know if there are any specifications for your animals and I'll do my best to accommodate them and make sure your babies are happy and healthy while you're away. I am currently not working a 9-5 giving me the majority of the day to attend to your pets! I am generally available for one week to two week intervals of dog sitting, but please inquire for other periods. Booking in advance is always helpful and appreciated. My home is under construction so I am only offering care in my clients home. I love tending to plants, and don't mind doing other things like gardening, light housework, please note that I charge for some of these services onna case by case basis.

Kaylee J.
“After getting a new job that required a few days in the office, I knew I needed to find someone to take my yellow lab Brewer outside during the day. Brewer isn't much of a ‘fast walk and far’ dog but more of the ‘stop and smell the flowers’ with the occasional swim and frog watch (a typical lab). He's also not the best with some other male dogs so it was hard finding someone to accommodate these needs. I finally found Kaylee on Rover who made sure to accommodate to Brewer so he was able to be outside and do stuff that he enjoys rather than just the quick walk around the block. After the first time Kaylee brought Brewer out, I knew he was in good hands as the pictures I got showed he was clearly enjoying his day while I was gone. I definitely recommend all types of dogs with Kaylee!”
