His wonderful partner is no longer dogsitting in the area so Matt joined Rover himself bc he loved the dogs so much and I could not be more grateful. He keeps her active enough that Rosie is tired when she gets home but most importantly I appreciate knowing she’s going to be loved on all day. Matt is flexible and super communicative plus he takes great pictures - I would recommend him without any hesitation.”

I am currently doing Rover full-time. For many years i have lived in homes with pets and helped care for them. Currently living in a home with 1 cat, 1 dog, and 12 chickens. We also do doggy day care and do boarding- so we keep pretty busy. I always walk dogs on their leashes. I make sure to keep medications and other harmful things locked away. We have a fenced in yard, but i’m always out there with them. I try to take as good care for your animals as if they were my own.

About: I've always loved animals, work for a veterinarian, have 2 dogs of my own (ages 13 and 16!). In addition to caring for the pets of friends and neighbors, I just genuinely love interacting with animals. I work part time for a veterinarian, so I'll have a lot of time to help out with your cats and dogs! In addition to basic needs, I plan to play snuggle and love on your pets. In and around your home, I will take your dogs for walks and playtime. For cats, I will make sure they are fed and not too lonely.

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of family and friends since I was in my teens, but more extensively in college and since. For 3 years I boarded and sat for three different family friends. I’ve personally helped raise 3 dogs and 2 cats. I’ve even helped herd sheep and tamed alpacas! I work nearly full-time as a server at a restaurant, so Wednesday to Saturday night I’m unavailable for somewhere between 6-9 hours on those days. When I have my off days I’m usually at home or out for a walk. I’m usually efficient with my errands and have extensive free time on off days. My apartment is a one bedroom, so if I’m not playing around the apartment with the pet, I’d want to bring them on a walk or to the park. I have a very comfortable bedroom conducive to nap time, and I live in the heart of Old Port. Whenever I am with pets in my house I am always looking to set up a cozy space for them to relax with blankets, pillows, their favorite toys. I try to make them feel like a proper guest in my home like anyone else. My apartment is always very quiet despite being downtown, but I would hope to find activities we could do in and around Portland to help keep them active and entertained.

About: Caring, energetic, dog lover available for walks, general care and companionship either at owners home or at my place with a fenced-in yard. The dog pictured is my son’s who I take care of from time to time but is not in the house when I dog sit. I use Rover when I need support for him. I have a flexible schedule when I’m in town but I travel once a month for a few days. I’m seeking arrangements that are aligned. I’d be happy to provide walks, drop in to the dog’s home to care for them or care for the dog for a half day or longer in my home. I have a fenced in yard.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! I have experience with dogs of many sizes and breeds, cats, cows, and chickens. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked for a dog walking company for the past 3 years. Also, I have worked on multiple farms where I’ve cared for farm animals and dogs/cats. I will care for your pet as if they were my own! I’m working a remote part-time job which leaves me with plenty of time to walk dogs throughout the day and in the evening. Additionally, I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends. If I am caring for your pet in your home I will make sure to follow whatever schedule you have for them. I will take them out to play often and give them lots of love.

“Kseniia is the BEST! We had a family trip planned for Funtown Splashtown and needed last minute doggy daycare for our papillon while at the park. We were late to arrive and late to pick up, but Kseniia accommodated our unpredictable schedule changes with ease. She sent us several photos and made our little girl feel at home.
