About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. About: I have been a pet carer since I could hold a spoon and scoop cat food onto a plate. My family had two cats for my entire childhood; they lived to 18 and 19 years old! I have cat-sat for friends and family for all my life and through this have become extremely comfortable with cats—from the grumpy to the cuddly. I have given cats medicine in most forms that don't require a certification (pills, syringe, in food, inhalers, ointments... just no injections!) and have sitted for kittens, cats with illnesses like chronic respiratory issues, cancer, and severe skin allergies, and have no queasiness when it comes to the realities of life with cats! With dogs, I have more of the proper pet-sitting experience. That has really ramped up in the last year, since we moved to Portland and into an apartment that is pet-friendly. I have loved getting to know each dog and adjusting so they have the best time possible (it can't be easy leaving home for a stranger's house!). For example, one dog tends to have a much better, more peaceful day if I get him out to the woods for a run/walk in the morning before work (who wouldn't!) Another loves to cuddle, so we put a blanket on the couch so that she can snuggle while we watch TV at night with constant pets. Another is whip-smart, so I try to make sure we do extra enrichment/play time. With all animals, I try to go above and beyond and see them as individuals with distinct personalities and needs. :) I am a work-from-home journalist who would absolutely love some company, playtime, cuddles, and more reasons to get outside during the day. About: I grew up with dogs and I miss the pure joy they have for this world. I can't own one with my current situation, but would love to look after yours. I'm a working professional who is kind and courteous. If you want me to know anything ask, feel free to ask! -Alex I work a full time remote job, with easy morning and evening walking times. The afternoon tends to be a bit busier for me so I may not be able to take an extended break but can make sure your pup has plenty of bathroom breaks and long walks. I am kind and courteous of other people's space. I offer sitting in your space or walks, because my apartment doesn't allow me to have dogs.
About: I take myself out for walks anyway, dogs are just amazing company! I'm excited to get your dogs moving outside in a safe way that burns off some energy and allows exploration! I love being outdoors in any weather condition. Being away from home, I dearly miss my own dog, so spending quality time with some of the best creatures in the world is an amazing added bonus. I’m available weekdays before 11:30, and any time on weekends! I work in the afternoons, so my availability is before 11:30 and after 6 pm on weekdays. I’m happy to be flexible to suit your changing needs, especially if something comes up last minute that you need support with! I know it’s an act of extreme trust to have another person interact with your fur babies and I take that responsibility extremely seriously!! I am comfortable with all personalities or ages. I currently regularly watch a reactive golden doodle and two kitties. On top of that, I also have my own baby cat named Jojo. I work full time Sunday-Thursday from 3pm-11pm. I am available for any pet care before 3pm on those days, and all day long on Friday and Saturday. About: I was raised with cats and dogs and i have kept them into my adult life. Not having them would be a tragedy. I look forward to caring for your fur baby as they are my own. I am constantly taking care of my kitten and my 2 other cats and I help my friend with his pupper often and love every minute of it. I can go to your place or watch them here your call. If your animal is comfier at home then that is no problem at all for me. My home is quiet and currently dog free. My cats are currently livng ful time at my friends as i jist moved to this new place and into my significant others place so no need to worry about clashing.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes from 10lbs to 100+ lbs, ages puppy to senior, all with various temperaments, energy levels and medical needs. I’ve also cared for many cats ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old I’m a middle school teacher on summer break with A LOT of availability. I regularly free weekdays during the day through the evening and even available at night and through the night most days of the week. I have a large fenced in yard with that’s mostly shaded by surrounding trees. With easy access from a back deck. We also have a screened in porch for good airflow on hotter days. I live in a nice and walkable neighborhood and I regularly visit local walking/hiking trails in the area.
