I have owned dogs and cats all my life and I am very comfortable with them. I will pay attention to your pets body language to make sure that they are comfortable and happy. I will follow your instructions for your pet closely. I have shadowing and volunteering experience with veterinarians and animal shelters. Are you unsure? About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover and owner living in Maplewood, MO, with my friendly 5 yr old Aussie, Porter. While I'm newer to pet sitting on Rover, I've cared for dogs my whole life and have plenty of experience watching the pups of friends and family. Whether it's walks, playtime, or cuddles, in here to ensure your furry friend feels happy and cared for while you're away! I'm available on the weekends and work from home Mondays and Fridays, giving your pup plenty of attention, potty breaks and daily walks. I'm open to Tues-Thurs care as well, but the pup would have to be okay in a crate or out for 8 hours while I'm at work for the day. I have a fenced in yard for the pup to play, potty and get exercise in. I have a 5 year old aussie who is super friendly and would love the company of another dog! While I'll be home most of the time with your pup, when I step out of the house I'm happy to kennel them or leave them out, whatever makes you and the pup feel the most comfortable!

About: I have done a lot of dog sitting over the past few years! Last year I finally got my own pup! We love evening walks! I am a math teacher! But I have a lot of late afternoon/evening availability, as well as lots of free time over the weekend! Please reach out with questions! I take my dog on daily walks, especially in the afternoon and evening! We could take yours too! I can’t keep dogs overnight, but can come to you if needed.

I'm energetic so we will hike, jog, walk and wag our way into a fun filled day. My days and weekends are very flexible. I will try and arrange potty breaks close to what your pet is used to but there will be days I can be gone up to fours hours. I treat your pet as you do and keep them on their routine. I always have a pet on a lead unless they’re in their own backyard. I usually have them stay clear of other animals and children since they’re are extra anxiety’s due to owner/parents being away. Your fur babies happiness and safety is first priority.

This was Emily’s first time with our Luna. So, she was kind enough to have a meet and great to get the lay of the land. I really liked meeting Emily first. Emily came and kept me in the loop with how things were going. Our cat can be shy and may take a bit to feel comfortable. Emily gave a little info most days. Emily was also very easy to contact if needed. After coming home… we found our home to be on the same clean place as we left it. That is also important to me. We really would be happy to have Emily come back to see our cat again and again.

Lindsey is absolutely amazing!! I had a personal matter come up, and needed urgent and VERY last minute care for my 2 large dogs for nearly an entire month. I reached out to Lindsey in a pinch, and with nearly no notice, and she got back to me immediately! Not only was she considerate of my situation, she was so professional, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with when scheduling everything! (I had to make a MILLION changes to the schedule, and she was nothing but patient, flexible, and understanding through every change I made!) One of my dogs (I have 2 large dogs!) can be particularly reactive, and I’ve had such a hard time in the past finding someone that he will let get close to him and take care of him. When I came across Lindsey’s profile, I was so pleased to see that she has experience with challenging dogs! While I was still nervous how my reactive dog would be around her, Lindsey assured me of the steps she will take with the experience she has, to ensure the dogs feel comfortable, safe, and trusting around her. And Lindsey did not disappoint! Both of my dogs love her and seemed to warm up to her almost immediately! She always sends me the cutest updates of my pups, too, and is SO wonderful at communicating everything with me (I haven’t been home to see my dogs in almost a month, and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone other than Lindsey to be caring for my dogs during these past few weeks)! She has gone above and beyond, and I cannot recommend her enough! I trust her through and through to take good care of my dogs, and am so grateful for how much love and care she showed them while I’ve been away. If I ever need to book someone to care for my dogs again, I will ALWAYS book Lindsey when I have the chance! 🐶🐶
