About: I am a caring, dependable, and attentive caregiver who truly enjoys spending time with animals. I create a calm and safe environment where pets can feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and I treat every animal like part of my family. I have a flexible daily routine that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’m home most of the time, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. Caring for animals fits in naturally with my day—I enjoy including them in walks, playtime, and a calm home environment where they feel safe and loved. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, and affection. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get regular potty breaks, exercise, and lots of attention throughout the day. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your specific instructions for feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and routines. I also make sure your pet feels secure in their familiar environment while keeping you updated with messages and photos.

“Nate was wonderful, my pup had a great and safe time the couple of days I was away and I got regular updates of her frolicking around. I would absolutely have her stay with him again in the future!”

“Summer was awesome with my dog! She went on daily walks and I received updates even when I was out of service, which was SO nice to receive when I came back from my trip. Photos were great and her whole family was super sweet & involved!”

“Steven and Kaylee were great dog sitters. They took such good care of our dog. It was our dog’s first overnight boarding with sitters and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They sent us daily updates and lots of pictures. We could tell our dog was in good hands. Would definitely book them again. Thank you so much!”

“They had only great things to say Yoshi when I picked him up. They genuinely seemed to enjoy Yoshi which is such a comfort for me. I highly recommend them. I will definitely use them again!”

About: I love fitness and pets and would like to combine the two! Contact me for a walk with your pup :) I live in a small apartment which means I have to get out of the house to workout often! I understand that different types of dogs need different exercise and I can cater to that need as well. I run my own business as a freelance artist so I have plenty of time and a flexible schedule to walk your dog as needed. I live near lots of parks and can take your dog walking in the safe neighborhood near my home or let them play in nearby parks depending on your dogs exercise needs.

About: My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop in visits, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate most schedules and am happy to work with your pet’s routine. I work a consistent 9–5 schedule, which allows me to maintain a reliable routine for pet care. Before and after work, I make time for walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. On evenings and weekends, I have additional flexibility to spend quality time with your pets and ensure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I believe pets deserve more than just the basics they deserve attention, affection, and companionship too. Whether your pet loves playing, going on walks, or simply curling up next to someone on the couch, I’m happy to meet their needs. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep a clean and safe environment, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident they’re being cared for and loved while you’re away.
About: Hi, we are Andrew and Kris. We've had pets our entire lives and have started to care for others in addition to our own puppy, Benelli. We have experience caring for various animals including dogs and cats. Kris works from home and we are quite flexible between our two schedules. Extended stays are welcome. We live in a very walkable neighborhood, and loving taking the pups out to walk around. Kris works from hone, so your pet will never be left alone! We are available for boarding as well, and just need advance notice for scheduling. We have a spacious townhouse and are both animal lovers. We currently have one amazing Labradane in the house who loves to play with other pets (if you allow it; otherwise he is very well crate trained and can remain separated). Your pets will have no shortage of attention and affection here!

“Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. I had such peace of mind that our dog was being loved and cared for. I would VERY MUCH like to use Marissa's boarding services again, next time we travel.”

About: i’ve been in the dog industry for about 5 years give or take. i’ve gotten way more into the dog world these last three years, but have been training dogs since i was 10 years old. i love anything and everything about dogs, learning why they do the things they do, and working to get to a deeper level with any dog i work with. I’m open any time of day 7 days a week so really i have all day to be with your pets and work with them however is needed. Pets in my home will be taken care of very cautiously, but will have the funnest time. i live by the mountains so there’s endless trails to take your pups on and get all that energy out, as well as a big backyard for them to run and play in.
“Clara is amazing! She send us daily updates and pictures with all the fun things she does to make sure our pupper is having a good time. She is willing to do whatever she needs to make sure he is taken care of whether that be giving him medicine to recover from an injury, or buying specific dog food when he runs out 🫣. Her dogs are great with ours and most importantly, our baby is SO EXCITED to go to her house. So, we know he is happy and being well taken-care of with us. It gives us so much peace of mind when we have to leave him. Can’t recommend Clara enough!”

“Aubrielle is amazing! This was my very first time boarding my fur babies, so I was nervous. Aubrielle kept me updated with pictures and video, and I can tell they both loved her! Thank you so much!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Providence
Amanda and Cody were life savers. While we were on vacation in Puerto Rico the person we had arranged to watch our dogs had an emergency and was not able to finish the week. They took our dogs last minute. We use these guys often and my two boys live going to their house to play.

I love having Tatiana watch our pets! She was so patient with our dog and helping her to get comfortable in her first experience away from home with a sitter. We’ve used her before with another animal and came back because she and her family are so loving. I would highly recommend her to anyone anxious about leaving their animals for the first time! Great communication as well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
