“Katherine and Keven were very responsive during booking, took our dogs out to play and exercise, and sent plenty of updates with photos. I will definitely be booking with them again if I need another sitter.”

“First time ever leaving my pupgirls with someone and Pamela was wonderful. Girls are 10 and 17, on meds and get very anxious. Pamela sent pics daily and I could just see that they were doing great. Would absolutely recommend her and use her services again.”
“Such a great experience with Kristen and Spencer. My dog had a great time and was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend and would book with them again. Thank you.”

“Brooke was wonderful! She took great care of Mipha and sent lots of photos of our pup having fun. She was very accommodating when we needed to change the pickup time, and our puppy came home super happy!”

“Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. I had such peace of mind that our dog was being loved and cared for. I would VERY MUCH like to use Marissa's boarding services again, next time we travel.”

“Jason was the best! He treated Berkley like his own! I definitely will use Jason again and highly recommend him! Berkley came home happy which is very important to me!”

“First time leaving our 4 month old lab and I couldn't be more pleased. Puppy had a buddy and family to play with while we were away overnight. Puppy came home happy and well mannered. So grateful for a trusted family to leave our pup with.”

“Heidi was so great with our dog.I checked my cameras often and she was so dependable showed up when she said she was. You can tell she really had a love for dogs because was always playing with her. I will definitely be using Heidi the next time I go out of town.”

“We loved Brittney taking our boy! I was so scared that having anyone watch him meant him being in a kennel 24/7, but that wasn't the case here. Our guy got a lot of backyard time and interaction with other dogs. It was wonderful. She was also really understanding when we had some stuff pop up that changed our plans and time windows and that was really cool! Highly recommend!”

“We could not be happier with the care our large dog, Max, received while we were away. They sent frequent text updates and pictures, so we didn't have any worries while we were gone. They also quickly picked up on Max's uniquely sweet personality and gave him the love, attention, and frequent walks he enjoys. We will definitely be bringing Max here again.”
“Really loved Krystal as a sitter! She was able to take my dog last minute on a holiday. She was great at responding to any messages I sent and she was awesome at giving detailed responses on how my dog was handling everything!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals. I grew up on a hobby farm in upstate New York, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. From feeding and grooming to understanding different personalities and needs, I learned how important patience, consistency, and love are when it comes to animal care. I got my first dog, a German Shepherd named Zany, when I was 3 years old, and dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and reliable companion, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your animals like family. I am currently at home full time, so have plenty of time and attention to share! I’m currently available for boarding both during the week and on weekends, or can do drop-in visits if that works better for you. I have a large 1/2 acre lot (on a quiet cul-de-sac) for frequent potty breaks, play, and leg stretches. Even though my yard is not fenced, I live less than a block away from the local dog park - with sections for large and small breeds - so I can easily walk them there if they love being social, like me!
“Casey was exceptional! We had our dog stay with her, and Casey made sure she was comfortable and loved. We loved the updates we got throughout the week! We will definitely be booking with Casey again.”

“As someone who is very nervous leaving my dog- they did such an amazing job at keeping me updated and making sure I knew that Zara was being loved and comfortable in their home! Their kids were very loving and playful with her as well! I could tell zara was just as comfortable and loved as she is at home! 10/10 recommend if you want to be updated, and have your pup loved while you are away!🤍🤍”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Millville
Beverly was amazing! Our pups came back loved and exhausted (which is hard to do with two high energy pups). They both slept for almost a day straight after their stay and we received lots of pupdates with pictures and videos throughout the time they were there. I highly recommend and will absolutely book again if in the area!

Debbie was absolutely wonderful. The highlight of her care is how much love she poured into my dog -as if he was her own. He had something of seperation anxiety, and she let him fall asleep in her bed. he also would approach her for physical affection which he usually doesn’t do except to people he knows. When I tried to book with her, she immediately let me know about why her schedule that day might not make her the best option. I really appreciate the honesty as I have had a in the past where leaving him alone was undisclosed. She communicated very well and sent me so many pictures and videos which was so nice and thoughtful. I would absolutely book her again. Thank you Debbie!

I love having Tatiana watch our pets! She was so patient with our dog and helping her to get comfortable in her first experience away from home with a sitter. We’ve used her before with another animal and came back because she and her family are so loving. I would highly recommend her to anyone anxious about leaving their animals for the first time! Great communication as well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
