About: I have had pets my whole life. I love them like family. I have raised puppies and have taken care of senior dogs with medications. I will keep things organized and clean. Both my husband and I work from home. I only work part time and can make lots of time for play with your dogs. They will not spend long hours with nobody at home as both of us are home majority of the time! I have a fenced yard and one 13 year old cockapoo who is friendly with other dogs. I do have 2 outdoor cats that will be around but generally keep their distance from dogs.
About: I've been a dog owner for the past 18 years and truly understand that pets are part of the family. My home is full of love, with five kids who enjoy playing with and giving attention to dogs, so your pup will have plenty of companionship, although I will be the only caregiver to your pet. We also have a friendly Sheepadoodle who loves making new dog friends and gets along well with other pups. I'll treat your dog like one of my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I work from home and am available all day and night to make sure that your pet is comfortable and happy during their stay with us. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and any medications they may need. My home has a friendly Sheepadoodle who enjoys having canine companions, and my fully fenced yard provides a safe space for supervised play and exercise. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and they receive plenty of love, attention, and snuggles throughout the day. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
“Mary was great. She was able to administer my dogs antibiotics with no problem, sent pictures regularly, responded to messages within a Timely manner. I put in wrong dates when booking and she was easy to fix my mistake. Would highly recommend her!”

“Jason is always up for taking care of our dogs and he is so great with them. He taught me a few tricks and honestly my larger dog is always so well behaved when we pick him up. He trains dogs as a hobby and is awesome at it! He is always flexible with pickup and drop off which I usually need and its so helpful. We have booked multiple times and we will keep coming back. Thanks Jason!”

“Pamela was great! She communicated by texting me updates and sending pictures and videos. My dog was genuinely happy to be with her and her family. Our stay was during Fourth of July and she took extra care with my dog to ensure she was safe during fireworks. We will definitely use Pamela again for our dog sitting needs.”

“I can’t praise Jason enough! This was my first time leaving my puppy with someone I didn’t know, and I was super scared. But from the moment I dropped her off I was at ease, Jason made me feel like she was going to be okay and be in a great place. I wasn’t ever worried about her while gone and he would constantly send me pictures of my baby. I will definitely be returning! If you are looking to send your pup to anyone, pick Jason! He treats your dog like his and gives them a comfortable place to live while you’re gone!”

“Harley and Hazel were so well cared for! We appreciate having a place for them to stay at while we are away where we know we don’t have to worry. They had fun playing with the other dogs.”

“Heidi was so great with our dog.I checked my cameras often and she was so dependable showed up when she said she was. You can tell she really had a love for dogs because was always playing with her. I will definitely be using Heidi the next time I go out of town.”

“We had a great experience boarding with Barbara. We were so impressed with the frequent check ins she sent us through our trip, it was clear she spend a lot of quality time with our dog, Peach. From the all the videos and photos we received, we were instantly put at ease seeing how much fun Peach was having. Peach has been really timid with other dogs in the past but warmed up to Barbara’s Knox quickly! What a great new dog friend! We’re looking forward to boarding with Barbara again soon. Thank you, Barbara!”

“Casey was AMAZING! She took such great care of our dog! She sent multiple pictures and videos. He was having so much fun we thought he wouldn’t want to come home. He loved playing with the other dogs and the family loved him like their own. Thank you Casey! We were able to enjoy our trip because we knew he was totally loving life!”

“Becky did a great job taking care of our older dog. She stayed at our home and left it pristine! Becky also provided regular updates to make sure we knew our pup was doing well. We were so thankful to know Winston was in the care of a real dog lover.”

About: We have a large half-acre yard and your pets will have the opportunity to play with our dogs or can be kept separately! We are also happy to send you pics or facilitate Facetime with you and your pet if it helps ease that homesickness from your furry friend. We love having extra furry friends. They will be kept safe and maybe spoiled. The longest your pet would be home without potty breaks is 2 hours. We have a fenced yard and two dogs that your pet can play with or we can keep them separately. We are also happy to send frequent pictures if it helps!!!
“Krystal is Very nice and has a very spacious place for Oscar. He seemed to like it. Very good communication and understanding with the changes in my schedule vacation. We will use her again.”

“Harry usually comes home a little stressed after staying with other boarders, but this time he came home happy, relaxed, and completely himself. That says everything about the care he received—we’ll definitely trust this family with him again! Thank you!”

“Heidi is great! She is clearly prepared and professional with pets - but also a lot of fun. She has a lot of space for them to run around, and having another dog is a huge benefit for mine! She was super helpful and shared photos throughout Apollo’s stay with her to give updates.”

“It was wonderful having Aneice board my dog while I was out of town. She was in constant contact with me, sending pics. Peanut was well cared for and very happy. She (Peanut) wanted to stay when I picked her up😉. I will definitely to have Aneice watch Peanut again.”

“Summer was awesome with my dog! She went on daily walks and I received updates even when I was out of service, which was SO nice to receive when I came back from my trip. Photos were great and her whole family was super sweet & involved!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wellsville
Nate was wonderful!! He did such a great job at making sure Leo was cared for and watched (since he has bad separation anxiety). He took Leo on lots of adventures so Leo was sooooo tired when we picked him up. He had a great time! I would 100% have him watch Leo again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
