I have been around animals my whole life, they bring me joy and I love to surround myself with them. I hold high regard and respect for furry and feathered creatures. I jump at the opportunity to care for friends' pets, and I'd like to open my home to your loved ones too and develop a relationship. I don't have any furry house friends of my own currently, but I do have a working 16 acre farm with a variety of small livestock, cats and birds. I love each and every one of them. I am well versed in basic medical care of animals. My latest diabetic cat lived with insulin shots twice a day for 3+ years. Pets that I sit can either roam around the farm with me as I work, or stay in my cozy house and receive regular visits throughout the day. Dogs tend to be thoroughly entertained with a big smile on their face. If allowed, your dogs will enjoy various pasture-raised, organic treats from the farm. I see a lot of benefits to dogs that get safe, controlled exposure to farm life and being around other species. I also enjoy taking dogs on hikes with me. I have trails close by where we can get additional exercise and exploration. Animals in my care get loads of attention, love and entertainment. I also have resident farm hands that love animals, offering extra social interaction and playtime.
