About: My family owns a dog rescue that I have been helping out/taking internships at for years! I also spent a lot of time working for the cache valley humane society as a volunteer for canines and felines. I grew up with many different animals in the household and my passion for animals is what makes me a great caretaker! I work part time so I have lots of time to care for your pups! I always have long lunch breaks which gives allowance for extra walks/outings. I love to hike so if that is something you think your dog would like send them over to me! I have an unfenced yard and two sweet female roommates to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed and there is lots of space upstairs and downstairs for them to wander. When entering another home, I will be safe and respectful of all household wishes and concerns
“Julie is always terrific! She's flexible and responsive with scheduling, and she loves my dogs and she's so good with them! They love her, they get all excited when they see it's her at the door and they come back tired and happy!”

“So thankful that Avery was our Rover, we are traveling food vendors and we have odd hours and long hours and Avery was able to accommodate walking our dog twice a day plus feeding him for three days in a row. She’s very communicative, and very punctual, and even though she wasn’t feeling well on Saturday, she still came and walked our dog. I hope we can use her again next year as we plan on attending the summer fest festival in Logan again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals. I grew up on a hobby farm in upstate New York, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. From feeding and grooming to understanding different personalities and needs, I learned how important patience, consistency, and love are when it comes to animal care. I got my first dog, a German Shepherd named Zany, when I was 3 years old, and dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and reliable companion, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your animals like family. I am currently at home full time, so have plenty of time and attention to share! I’m currently available for boarding both during the week and on weekends, or can do drop-in visits if that works better for you. I have a large 1/2 acre lot (on a quiet cul-de-sac) for frequent potty breaks, play, and leg stretches. Even though my yard is not fenced, I live less than a block away from the local dog park - with sections for large and small breeds - so I can easily walk them there if they love being social, like me!
About: If your pet loves to be loved, this is the place for them. With a mom and kids who all LOVE animals, and are eager for one of their own, your pet will be adored here. We have owned both cats and dogs and also taken care of pets for neighbors, and will take great care of yours! We have 4 year old triplets, so aren’t quite ready to adopt a furry baby yet, so let us love on yours! I work from home and my wife is here most days as well, so we will be very attentive to your pet’s needs. We can take them on walks and let them out for potty breaks as needed. We have a full home with space to play or crate as needed. We also have a fenced yard, and friendly neighbor dogs that your dog can play with if desired.
About: I’ve had an abundant experience caring for dogs, tortoises, fish, etc. since I was 13 years old. It became my responsibility early on to care for and train my dogs in their puppy years and on. I also spend time walking my neighbors dogs anytime I can help them, the dogs ranging in both size and age. I’m a recent UCLA graduate who’s living out in Logan, UT for the next couple of months. I absolutely adore animals and love looking after them in any manner. I live a very active lifestyle so walking is almost a daily occurrence for me! I currently have two dogs, tortoises, and fish at home in California. I’m very accustomed to a lifestyle caring for animals. I do my best to stay organized on feedings, as well as maintain abundant exercise for the dogs.
“Nicole has been such an amazing dog walker and cat sitter for me! She has given my animals such good care and takes the most amazing photos of them. I would highly recommend her for all your pet care needs!”

About: I have always had at least one dog in my household. I love them. We don’t have children so our dogs are our babies! I have trained all of my dogs. I don’t work so I am available all week long. Dogs bring joy to my life. Our Bouvier des Flanders traveled the Rainbow Bridge last October so our home is just too quiet! We have a large fenced yard with close access to Hyrum Dam for our guests. If they like the water, we have it in our backyard!
About: Being a pet-sitter is one of the best part-time gigs in the world! I have been around pets for most of my life and am most familiar with caring for dogs. I am comfortable with caring for animals of any size as well as pets with various personalities. I currently own a reactive dog and know how important it is to maintain patience and care with our pet friends who are not as friendly. Spending time with dogs is one of my favorite things to do, and I’d love to get to know your pet. Whether you need a sitter, a walker, or a drop-in visitor, I'm so looking forward to helping you care for your beloved furry family member! I'm currently working part-time, so I have a ton of flexibility! I'm available for sitting, mid-day walks, or drop-in visits. I'd love to spend time with your pet. I love house-sitting for pet owners. It often helps your pet feel more comfortable if they are able to stay in the environment that they are used to. I take thorough notes when first meeting with you to ensure that I exhibit the utmost respect for your home as well as for your pet. When I walk your pet or do drop-in visits, I always practice safe habits such as ensuring your dog is securely on their leash 100% of the time, carefully closing gates, doors, etc. to ensure your pet remains safely in the house, and providing plenty of water (or food) as necessary so that your pet stays happy and healthy!
“Sadie has a cheerful personality and was very attentive towards our small dog. Very reliable; always came within our agreed time window and called 15 minutes before as promised. When some loose calves mashed down the dog enclosure in the backyard she put it back up so my wife could let Sweet Pea out during the day. Will definitely book Sadie again in future.”

About: My earliest memories are of playing with dogs. As an adult I love my kitties and will care for any furry, scaley or feathered friends. Every day I care for my dog and 4 cats. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
