“Tamilyn has been the most caring and kind pet sitter we’ve ever had! She took exceptional care of our very large dog, our 3 needy kitties, and our home. She is super communicative and we’ll definitely have her sit for us again!”

About: I've dedicated my life to caring for various beings, whether they're furry or human. From working with fosters from Rescue Rovers to raising my own pup, Gwenny, from a tiny furball, I've immersed myself in creating a safe, playful, and loving environment. With extensive experience in dog sitting, house-dog sitting, and caring for even huge dogs and high energy levels, I've consistently earned stellar reviews. My passion extends beyond pet care; I aspire to become a service animal trainer and am actively self-educating until I can pursue formal education. Your dog's well-being is my top priority, and I'll go above and beyond to provide them with the best treatment possible. Rest assured, your furry friend(s) will be loved and cared for just like they are a part of my own family. Im currently working part time and attending online school full time. Other than that, I have a few responsibilities I need to attend to (chores, family care, etc.) just like everyone else. No matter what I have planned, your pet will be the highlight! Unfortunately, since I moved, I can no longer pet sit or board at my home. However, I still have plenty of toys, treats, and tools to ensure your friend has a good time no matter where we are. I love a good game of tug-a-war or fetch! I will also play games and practice tricks. If they have a special diet they must stick to, please let me know.
“I know my pets are in great hands with Samantha. She provided excellent care for them and went lots of pictures. I will definitely book with her again in the future.”

About: I have had my dog for 5 years and really enjoyed raising and training her. Outside my home, I have helped friends and family with house-sitting, dog walking, and check-ins/potty breaks. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is quite open! I am available for services any time on weekends and on weekdays after 2 pm. I have a fenced back yard, and a gate at the front of my house, so your pet will be entirely secure! There is a patio and grass in the back, leaving space for zoomies. Inside is an open floor plan with space to play while being supervised and safe!
“Alleena was great with our nervous, anxious little pup. We could tell just for meeting her that she was going to be a good fit. She’s very calm and you could tell she’s just natural with animals. We definitely recommend her and we will be using her again!”

“Julia was fantastic! I can tell the dogs enjoyed her company. She even took them to the river to play as well as daily walks and play time! The house was just like we left it. We got lots of pictures and updates! Definitely hope to book again!”

“Oceana is a great sitter! She was very empathetic and caring, especially with our senior cat who doesn’t have much time left. She communicated well, and sent us adorable pictures. Thank you, Oceana! You are awesome!”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, so much so that I am in the vet program in Logan, UT. I have taken care of several pets throughout my lifetime both in home and in a clinic boarding facility. I am learning more and more every day of vet school and am happy to learn and take care of young and old animals. I am currently a student in the veterinary program. I am typically in class from 8:30am-4:30pm with an hour lunch break. I am happy to check on pets in the mornings and late afternoon/evenings and potentially mid-day around lunch! On weekends I can be much more flexible! Safety of your pets is a top priority! I will always make sure doors and gates are latched securely before leaving the premise. I always double check the amount of food/medication they are to be given to ensure their health and safety as well as refilling water dishes at least once a day. If you would like I would love to send check in pictures/videos each day to check in!
“Luckily our cats and dog still like us a bit more than Eva, though it's close! She did a great job taking care of them and it showed. Our kitty recently had spay surgery and Eva handled the meds just right. She even made us muffins!”

About: I’ve taken care of friends dogs for years , even transporting them to different states when needed. I live alone and am home by myself most of the time. I have a small fenced yard and wood floors and tile in most of my house. I would be happy and would prefer to meet your dog before I watch him or her. I door dash on my electric bike. It can go about 3 hours before needing a charge. I usually dash 2-3 hours in morning and 2-3 hours in the evening. If it rains I stay home I have a fenced yard , with a dog door from the inside to the yard. I keep water out all the time, but only feed according to the owners instructions
“Laura was able to take this assignment at the last minute after a family friend had a change of plans and wasn’t able to stay with my dogs. She was very accommodating and did everything I asked!”

About: I spent 24+ hours volunteering at Cache Valley pet Hotel as a kennel technician and receptionist ensuring every client was up to date and comfortable. I am available for daycares Monday through Friday at 9a-5p, as well as overnight from 5p-9a. I can do Saturday and Sunday for drop-in from 12p-5p. I always follow a routine whether it’s the client’s or my own: potty breaks every 3 hours, feeding 2-3 times a day, playtime 1-2 a day for an hour (depending on client preference).

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Millville
Evren was wonderful with our 3 dogs! They warmed up to her right away, and she took amazing care of them while we were away. She even went above and beyond by caring for our 4 rats and leaving the house spotless. We felt completely confident knowing our pets were in great hands. We highly recommend Evren and will definitely call her again.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Millville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Millville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Millville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Millville. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
