“Our first time having Jared watch our dog, and it was very last minute! Jared had great communication with us and kept us updated on our pup, who was happy and at ease with Jared when we picked him up. Plan to use him again for another Rover stay.”

About: I have had pets my whole life. I love them like family. I have raised puppies and have taken care of senior dogs with medications. I will keep things organized and clean. Both my husband and I work from home. I only work part time and can make lots of time for play with your dogs. They will not spend long hours with nobody at home as both of us are home majority of the time! I have a fenced yard and one 13 year old cockapoo who is friendly with other dogs. I do have 2 outdoor cats that will be around but generally keep their distance from dogs.
“Kimberly was great! Our dog was so we'll taken care of, I've never seen her this tired from a weekend of non stop fun. Kimberly was even nice enough to give our dog a bath as a nice surprise for us when we picked her up. Definitely would recommend, 10/10!”

“If you want someone who truly understands dogs, this is your guy. I have a very timid, and reactive Pyrenees-poodle and he does not do well with strangers. Eric gave Winston a calm safe space to relax, and adapt to. He was very communicative while I was gone. My questions and concerns were answered promptly. Winston was able to get lots of exercise daily. As well as free time to roam. When I picked him up, he was very calm, and happy. I will absolutely being using Eric again in the future.”

“Damaris is amazing!! She took SUCH great care of our dog, and kept us updated with videos and pictures each day. She was very responsive and kind, and we had such peace of mind on our vacation knowing our pup was in good hands! ☺️”

“Great puppy sitter! She was kind, had a kennel and bowls all ready for our Copper. She even sent us pics of him while we were gone! He was happy and well taken care of!! Thanks so much. Will use again!!”

“Becky did a great job taking care of our older dog. She stayed at our home and left it pristine! Becky also provided regular updates to make sure we knew our pup was doing well. We were so thankful to know Winston was in the care of a real dog lover.”

“We had a great experience boarding with Barbara. We were so impressed with the frequent check ins she sent us through our trip, it was clear she spend a lot of quality time with our dog, Peach. From the all the videos and photos we received, we were instantly put at ease seeing how much fun Peach was having. Peach has been really timid with other dogs in the past but warmed up to Barbara’s Knox quickly! What a great new dog friend! We’re looking forward to boarding with Barbara again soon. Thank you, Barbara!”

About: I've been a dog owner for the past 18 years and truly understand that pets are part of the family. My home is full of love, with five kids who enjoy playing with and giving attention to dogs, so your pup will have plenty of companionship, although I will be the only caregiver to your pet. We also have a friendly Sheepadoodle who loves making new dog friends and gets along well with other pups. I'll treat your dog like one of my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I work from home and am available all day and night to make sure that your pet is comfortable and happy during their stay with us. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and any medications they may need. My home has a friendly Sheepadoodle who enjoys having canine companions, and my fully fenced yard provides a safe space for supervised play and exercise. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and they receive plenty of love, attention, and snuggles throughout the day. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
“They had only great things to say Yoshi when I picked him up. They genuinely seemed to enjoy Yoshi which is such a comfort for me. I highly recommend them. I will definitely use them again!”

“Ashleen was awesome! She took such great care of our dog. She gave updates and made sure he was well taken care of while he was at her house. Will use her again when needing dog care.”

“Rebeca and her daughter did so great with my dog! She also accommodated us so kindly when our flight was canceled and we couldn’t get home in time and they happily took care of my dog until we could get home.”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
