“We needed a last minute stay for our dog and Calista & Hannah were very responsive. They're home was a very well run business with smooth drop off and pick up. Boba was happy and exhausted when he came home. We'd definitely rebook and recommend.”

“Pamela watched our 4 month old puppy for a week. She was very good with making sure he felt safe around other dogs while making friends with them as well. This is this first time we have used Rover.com and Pamela. Planning on using again the next time we can’t take our dog with us.”

“Debbie is the best sitter! Our dog had a great time with her and she came home happy & healthy. Debbie is very quick with communication and she sent cute pics of our dog to us everyday. We will definitely be returning to Debbie in the future. 🤍”

“If you are looking for someone to take extra care of your fur baby Atie is it! I spent weeks trying to find someone I felt comfortable with leaving my two shih tzus with for a week long trip, As soon as I met with Atie I knew she was going to be perfect and felt at ease immediately after talking with her. My dogs were so happy there! She loves them like her own, they slept with her every night, went on daily walks and got lots of snuggles/love. She works from home and is there with them all day. She has two dogs that my dogs loved to play with and all got along great. She sent us several updates of videos and pictures which I was so grateful for. She really tried to keep what their schedule and home life was like the same so they were comfortable there, She is truly the best! I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Jared was excellent to work with for our first time having to leave our pup since we moved to the area. He was flexible with our schedules, a prompt and courteous communicator, and sent us plenty of pictures while we were away. I would be more than happy to have Jared watch our pup anytime and we are grateful for the care and love he provided!”

“Samantha was wonderful to work with - sent many pictures every day of the 12 days she sat Bobo. Bobo looked very happy in all the pictures, got plenty of play time, daily walks, and social time. She followed all written instructions and kept up with all requests. Would highly recommend.”

“I’m so thankful Rebeca accepted our last minute booking over a holiday weekend. My lab and schnauzer had the best time! She took them on a lot of walks and sent pictures. They had a lot of fun playing with her dog, too. They were happy and tired when I picked them up.”

“Heidi was so great with our dog.I checked my cameras often and she was so dependable showed up when she said she was. You can tell she really had a love for dogs because was always playing with her. I will definitely be using Heidi the next time I go out of town.”

“Took amazing care of my dog! Their dogs are very friendly and helped bring my dog out of her shell. I would absolutely have them watch my dog again in the future!”

“I loved how Nate was willing to take care of our two dogs, one of which is special needs. He listened to our concerns and assured us they would be fine. The pick up and drop off is fantastic! The dogs came home tired and happy. They’re looking forward to their next vacation at Nate’s home!”

“Beverly was great! Jett loved playing in her backyard and with her dog. She was great to make sure he was comfortable even while he is still a bit anxious at night. I would definitely book with her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Smithfield
Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. I had such peace of mind that our dog was being loved and cared for. I would VERY MUCH like to use Marissa's boarding services again, next time we travel.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
