Animals have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and are my biggest special interest. I grew up taking care of a multitude of different pets including cats, dogs, and birds…I love them all! I make sure to stay up to date with new pet care and training ideas. I believe in using positive reinforcement to build strong and healthy relationships with our pets and have taken courses in dog body language and have familiarized myself with Canine and Feline CPR and heimlich maneuver. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!

Julia was fantastic! I can tell the dogs enjoyed her company. She even took them to the river to play as well as daily walks and play time! The house was just like we left it. We got lots of pictures and updates! Definitely hope to book again!
Julia and her husband were life savers for us!! They were very flexible with a mistake I made on our drop off time which was super helpful!! Julia was super great about keeping me updated and sending pictures/videos of Remi and he looked like he had so much fun with them and their dog hazel!! They are super well informed with all things dogs and I felt very at ease knowing they were taking care of him! they were so good to him I’d definitely recommend!
Julia is the BEST!!! She is so great at updating with lots of pictures and really amazing at making sure our dog gets lots of exercise! We feel 100% comfortable to leave our fur babies in her care. Highly recommend Julia’s services for whatever pet care you need!!!!
Our dog Bentley has never received "dog-sitting" from anyone other than family members. Julia and her husband were FANTASTIC. Julia's dog Hazel was so friendly, that Bentley now has a new girlfriend. I really appreciated all the pictures from the park and the walks every day. I received messages each day with a notation on how well Bentley was eating. She made me feel at ease knowing that Bentley was in good hands. Next time we need a dog sitter, we will be calling Julia! I HIGHLY recommend.
Julia was so amazing with our pets!! She stayed at our house to sit and was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos, which we appreciated so much!! Highly recommended using Julia for any pet needs!

Schedule
I generally work in shifts of 4-5 hours so the longest your pet will ever need to be left by themselves is 5 1/2 hours My husband is a student and the university and can also help take care of pets if needed/wanted.

I have a friendly 2 year old golden retriever who would love to keep your dog company if wanted otherwise I’m happy to visit your dog by myself. I can crate train or let your dog free roam, whichever you are most comfortable with

A typical day
My goal is to meet every animals physical and mental needs. I combine several different types of enrichment depending on the individual pet to help fulfill them. Some of my favorite things to do are scent games, puzzles and long sniffy walks (off leash if dog is able or on leash)
