“Debbie was amazing, one of my dogs gets nervous when we’re away and Debbie made sure to give him lots of love and also sent me tons of updates which was so appreciated! I highly recommend her and already plan on booking her for another stay!”

“They were amazing! This was the first time I used Rover and so I was nervous. But they had me do a meet and greet and made me feel very welcome and assured. They took her on several walks and made sure she went potty every two hours! They sent me updates and it was just perfect!”

“Daisy had a wonderful time playing in the backyard and with Jessalyn’s kids! This was my first time using Rover, and Jessalyn made it a great experience. Daisy came home happy, and I felt confident she was well cared for. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Tatiyana and her family made Boo and Scout feel right at home, updated us with pics and report during their stay. We could not be happier. We picked them up 4 hours earlier than planned and appreciated the last minute accommodation. Thank you Tatiyana and family helpers! We’ll see you again. Gordon & Susan”

About: My earliest memories are of playing with dogs. As an adult I love my kitties and will care for any furry, scaley or feathered friends. Every day I care for my dog and 4 cats. The trip to the nearby park is a routine where I find refuge. I have flexibility with my work schedule and can make most times fit. I have a fenced yard where pets can roam free without fear of antagonism or being set loose in the neighborhood. I give each memeber of the clan daily attention and individual care.
“Atie was great and would highly recommend her. She communicated great, shared pictures and updates and was flexible on pick up times and coordination in general. Would definitely use Atie again!”

“Katherine was great at keeping me in the loop, consistently sending photos of my pup playing with the others in her care. I can’t ask, but I’m sure if I could, my dog Cleo would say she had a great time (based on the photos). Would happily book with Katherine again in the future.”

About: Hi there! I’m Kati, and caring for pets has been a big part of my life for the past 15 years. I have extensive experience with small and medium-sized dogs and the past 2 years I’ve also cared for cats, so I understand the unique personalities and needs of both. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or making sure mealtime routines are followed, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is for your furry family members to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and patient — especially when it comes to pets who may be shy, energetic, or need a little extra care. You can rest easy knowing your pets are in good hands. 🐶🐱 Let’s set up a meet & greet so your pets can get to know me! can provide care in the mornings before work, during my lunch break, and in the evenings after work. This means I can stop by multiple times a day for feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, or just some extra attention and cuddles. I also offer overnight boarding, so your pers can enjoy consistent care and company while you’re away. In My Home: Your cat will have a safe, comfortable, and calm environment while staying with me. I provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I make sure their routine is followed as closely as possible to keep them happy and stress-free. “I feel so fortunate to have been able to work with Rebeca and her family. Her daughter and Nico, their dog took such good care of my dog. They treated her like a member of their family.”

“Lynsie was an absolute lifesaver! My dog has a lot of separation anxiety, but he felt very safe and cared for with Lynsie. I appreciated her willingness to meet us beforehand so that my dog could have a chance to interact with her and make sure they got along. Lynsie was awesome about working with my special requests and schedule. I would definitely recommend her, and I'll be contacting her again ☺️”

About: I’ve had a passion for dogs for as long as I can remember! Aside from parenting I would love the chance to meet and care for animals and dogs. I am more than happy to work with you on my prices depending on needs and size! Feel free to message me and ask! :) I’m always home and have extra time to care for, and watch your precious doggos! Walking, dog sitting etc I have the time to care for them. We have a little fenced yard! Enough for them to run for a minute and do what they need to do! They'll have security here and will have everything they they need!
“We instantly felt comfortable leaving our pups with Miss Pam. Our dogs instantly loved her as well. They made themselves right at home by digging through her doggy toy box that she had available for them and I had seen she had fresh water out and readily available as well. Pam sent us updates throughout the day and was great and easy to communicate with! We would highly recommend Pam if someone is in need of a pet sitter for doggy day care and plan to utilize her doggy daycare in the future! She truly helped make our day of "house hunting" less stressful, as we knew our dogs were well cared for.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals. I grew up on a hobby farm in upstate New York, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. From feeding and grooming to understanding different personalities and needs, I learned how important patience, consistency, and love are when it comes to animal care. I got my first dog, a German Shepherd named Zany, when I was 3 years old, and dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and reliable companion, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your animals like family. I am currently at home full time, so have plenty of time and attention to share! I’m currently available for boarding both during the week and on weekends, or can do drop-in visits if that works better for you. I have a large 1/2 acre lot (on a quiet cul-de-sac) for frequent potty breaks, play, and leg stretches. Even though my yard is not fenced, I live less than a block away from the local dog park - with sections for large and small breeds - so I can easily walk them there if they love being social, like me!
About: I have had 3 dogs of my own. Yorkie and Goldendoodles. I had some experience babysitting peoples dogs when I was little (my mom wouldn’t let me have my puppy) but never had my own till I got married (yes! ) I am passionate in both walking and dogs, so I love this job! My current golden doodle puppy just had a litter of six cutest mini golden doodles 5 months ago. She was the best caring mother ever. I’m excited to meet your dog, so does our puppy! I Prefer take pets for a walk around 9-12 AM Monday to Friday. Afternoon and weekends can be discussed in advance. It is fun to go on a walk with a companion! I have a unfenced yard and a goldendoodle in my home. We live in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood, a big beautiful park is just behind our house. I like taking dogs for a walk that is mainly what I am most interested in.

“This was my first time booking day care for my anxious pup and she came back very calm and happy. I loved how kind and caring Elizabeth was and she made sure my pup was well taken care of!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals, everything from turtles to goats, dogs to chickens! I’m flexible and willing to work with you however I can! I am a stay at home mom to 4 little ones. During the school year, 3 of them are gone most of the day. Other than nap time in the afternoon, I’m generally very flexible! I will always take great care of your animal and treat them like my own. I have 4 small children so any pet that would come to my home would have to be really good with kids. I’m happy to do pop in visits at your home if you are unsure about how they will do with kids. Being crate trained for night time is very beneficial!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Providence
Daisy had a wonderful time playing in the backyard and with Jessalyn’s kids! This was my first time using Rover, and Jessalyn made it a great experience. Daisy came home happy, and I felt confident she was well cared for. I would definitely book with her again!

They were great with my doggies. They took care of them as their own. It was nice to get updates. It was a peace of mind knowing Zoomie & Soda were in good hands. The dogs had good play time & taken on walks. They were nice & tired when they got home. I highly recommend Amanda & Cody, they welcomed my fur babies very well.

Kaitlyn is great! She was super willing to work with me on any last minute scheduling changes, and consistently updated me with videos of my puppy playing with her’s. It was clear my pup was well cared for and will definitely be contacting her again when I need in the future.

Niyonta was absolutely wonderful with Chief! From start to finish, her communication was thoughtful, kind, and very reassuring. She made sure to listen to all of our concerns and went above and beyond to make him feel safe and comfortable. She shared sweet updates and photos of Chief enjoying his time, whether appreciating the view, walking across a colorful bridge, or wagging his tail happily in her office. It was clear he felt at ease with her, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We’re so grateful for the care and attention she gave to Chief, and we’d happily book with Niyonta again. Highly recommend!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Providence commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
