About: I’ve been petsitting/housesitting for 8 years in San Diego CA and when I travel for petsitting. My experience with animals ranges from a wide variety of chickens, goats, pigs, a pet cow, horses, lizards, snakes and turtles as well as; cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes I am available most weekdays for drop ins and walks; with limited weekend availability depending on the week. If my schedule shows I am available through the weekend, then I am! For dog day care or boarding I am the primary caretaker but there are two extra sets of hands available. I currently look from home during this part of the year and have a flexible schedule to accommodate! We have a fully fenced in yard and prefer to take in only one families dogs at a time. If you dog is comfortable with it or prefers it, I am happy to take them on outings with me around town. I live walking distance to a shopping center and a few parks. Safety is very important to me as well as keeping the animals safe. I expect that all dogs and cats I care for to be non aggressive and properly trained to be safe to all in public. If they are not I require that it be disclosed in full and discussed with me prior to the sit, drop in, or walking; I am familiar with and can accommodate almost all behaviors but I do require it to be disclosed before proceeding. My priority is the comfort of your pet within their environment as well as the safety of all within that environment including your pet. If there are any quirks or triggers that your pets exhibit it is expected that they be disclosed when booking a walk, drop in or house sit as they can be accommodated if they are disclosed before the walk/visit. Please disclose if your cat is a frequent scratcher or biter, or if you dog has a rage/bite history for the safety of all parties.

“Maddie was an awesome dog walker and would book with her again! She was very thorough and took the time to do a meet and greet the first time in order to get to know my dog a bit more!”

“Jeanine is very reliable, punctual patient and a very dog friendly. She was very patient with buster since he is a puppy he is very mouthy and jumpy but she handled him very nicely and appropriatly. Higly recommend her!!”

About: I’m a recent college grad with lots of free time looking for extra income while spending time with cute doggies! I have my own 5 year old pomeranian who I absolutely adore!! He has taught me to love other dogs wholly. Your pet will get lots of pets, walks, and anything you’d like with me! I currently don’t have other commitments so I can fit your pet in any time of the week! Weekdays and weekends are all good for me. I will do as much or as little as you need! I can guarantee you that I will respect your space, as well as your pets. I want to provide a service that I would be happy providing for my own pup as well :)

About: I have had a family pet ever since I was in middle school starting with a dog. In high school our family added a cat. Now that I have my own family, we have a dog (Miso), a cat (Chad) and chickens (Nugget, Eunice, Orange, Pie) Currently, I am available to check in on your pets and play with them. I can also take your dog on a walk or run if needed. Give me instructions and I will follow them. I will respect your pets and your home. Just let me know what you need and I'm there to help!

About: Ever since I was a kid, I have owned 8 dogs, smallest being chihuahuas, largest being labs! I love all pets I handle, and form close bonds with them! I have experience in overnight house + dog watching, making sure medicine is taken if requested, novice puppy training, senior dog care, and much more! Every single day I have set times when my dogs need my assistance. My dogs both love to go outside to relieve themselves at 4 AM - 5 AM. After that they want to have their breakfast. Once that is over they typically want to take a nap till the afternoon comes around. After that the next main point of care is in the evening when I take them on a short walk, and then need to feed dinner as well around that time. Throughout the day they need to be let outside to relieve themselves every hour or so. Firstly, I always love to take notes on what the client is requesting. If they simply want me to walk for x amount of time, no important notes, then I will treat the dog accordingly and with care. If there are important pieces of information about the dog I usually like to be aware and make sure both sides have the same understanding to make sure the interaction goes smoothly and accordingly! The most important part of pet care is communication!

About: Hi there! I’m Logan and I thank you for giving my profile a look! My family has had dogs in our house since 2009, so I’ve taken care of multiple dogs in my life. I love any breed and size! I can’t work with cats as much family has a history of cat allergies. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog(s) wagging tail(s) My mom used to work at a school and asked me to take care of our two dogs for the day while she was gone. I made sure they had food, water, went to the restroom and had lots of fun! I treat all the dogs we have like they’re my child. I take care of them to make sure they live long happy lives! It’s nice to cuddle with them.

About: ✳️ PLEASE READ ENTIRE OVERVIEW ✳️ Hi there! My love for animals began when I was a little girl—I grew up riding horses and have been lucky to share my life with several amazing dogs (truly family members!). Over the years, I’ve discovered a special place in my heart for bully breeds, and I absolutely adore all cats and dogs. I started pet sitting 16 years ago when I landed my dream job as a veterinary technician. Working at an animal hospital opened the door to countless opportunities to care for pets, and it’s where I built lasting relationships with both animals and their wonderful owners. Pet sitting is more than a job for me—it’s a passion rooted in love, trust, and lots of tail wags and purrs. ♥️ 🐩🐕🐕🦺 I typically work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. If you're in the Poway area or surrounding areas, I can visit your pet during my lunch break. On Saturdays, I work from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. When I'm pet/house sitting, I'm available every day and night. Just keep in mind that I’ll need to be at work during my regular hours.🐕🦺🐕🐩 I always try to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet before I pet sit. That way, your pet knows I’m a trusted human friend. Being able to reassure you that my sitting will be as safe and enjoyable as possible is my biggest priority during a meet and greet!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs from puppies to senior doggies. I’ve always been comfortable with dogs of any size. I enjoy spending time with them especially if they need someone around! I am currently taking some time off from my 9-5 and have availability to care for your pet any day of the week including weekends! I would have to care for your pets at your place, I enjoy spending time with them where they’re most comfortable and where their environment is familiar to them.

About: I spent three wonderful years working at a veterinarian hospital, where I developed a deep affection for dogs. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own due to frequent travel, I cherish the opportunity to care for and enjoy the company of the pups I walk or host. After some life changes, I shifted my focus to my college studies and relocated from Santee, CA, to Poway, CA. I truly missed having dogs around and am now eager to return to what I love. I don’t have any pups of my own (but that’s because we as a family can’t decide), but I will give your pup all the love and then send them home happy & tired. i only work 3 days a week at a level one trauma hospital in the operating room. I’m able to make my schedule 2 months in advance which helps out with future vacation dates you may need. I have a small side yard however, I live within 5 minutes of walking to an awesome park that I go to daily. You won’t have to worry about exercise in my neighborhood.

About: Hi there! 🐾 I’m Hannah, a stay-at-home mom and Military spouse with two sweet kids (ages 4 and 7) and a deep love for animals. Growing up, I was the trusted pet sitter for family, friends, and neighbors, and that passion for caring for furry friends has only grown over the years. One experience that shaped me was caring for a senior dog who was blind and needed daily medications. Her family fully trusted me, and I was honored to be part of her care for several years. It taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of tailoring care to every pet’s unique needs. Recently, I went through the heartbreaking loss of my own dog, who was part of our family for 12 years. Saying goodbye to him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, but caring for other dogs has been a healing way to honor his memory and continue sharing my love for animals. At home, your pet will be treated like family. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we’re lucky to have grassy areas right in front of our house and a beautiful park across the street—perfect for playtime and walks. My kids adore animals, and together we’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. Every pet is unique, and their comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I’d love the chance to welcome your furry family member into our home and give them all the love and attention they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into our daily life as I'm a stay-at-home mom. We offer love, attention, and playtime, ensuring pets feel at home and well-cared for. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. In my home, I create a safe, cozy, and loving environment where your pet will feel like part of the family. I provide tailored care, including walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of affection to keep them content and comfortable. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll respect their space and routine to make them feel at ease. From giving medications to maintaining their feeding and potty schedule, I’ll treat your furry friend with the same love and care I’d give my own. You can count on consistent updates and photos for peace of mind while you're away.

About: My deep, deep love for animals and my journey brought me here. While preparing for my board exam after earning my master's degree, I volunteered as an animal shelter foster. During that time, I cared for many furry friends and discovered the true meaning of unconditional love. After getting my therapist license, I worked intensively. But this year, I chose to follow my heart and become a full-time pet sitter. I have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety, including adding medication to meals when needed (which is always heartbreaking but necessary). I also have experience with senior and medical needs cats. I love animals deeply, no matter their personality or quirks. (: To me, every pet is like my own child, and I care for them with the same devotion. I’m here whenever you need me. Whether it’s early mornings, late nights, weekends, or long holidays. Pleases don’t hesitate to shoot me a message . Our friends receive personalized, science-based care tailored to their unique needs. For dogs, I provide regular walks every 2 hours if needed, ensuring they stay active and happy. I’ve cared for a separation anxiety dog before and adjusted my life entirely around their needs even skipping grocery trips for five days (thank you, UberEats!) to ensure they felt safe. Every pet in my care is treated like family, with a focus on love and patience care.

I have never had any negative experiences hiring him.”

Logan F.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Logan on Rover We couldn’t be more grateful to have found Logan on Rover. From the very beginning, his professionalism, communication, and genuine love for animals stood out. We have two dogs—Bruiser, a big lovable goofball who can be a bit of a handful, and Bailey, our more reserved but sweet pup—and Logan has taken care of both with exceptional care, patience, and compassion. One of the first things we noticed about Logan is how quickly he earned Bruiser and Bailey’s trust. Bruiser can be energetic and excitable on walks, while Bailey needs a little extra time to warm up to new people. Logan took the time to get to know their personalities, approached them with warmth and calm energy, and now they both light up the moment they see him walk through the door. Logan doesn’t just “watch the dogs”—he truly cares for them. He sends us thoughtful updates during every visit, including photos and notes about how they’re doing, what they ate, how their walk went, and anything else we might want to know. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing that our dogs are in such good hands. We also really appreciate Logan’s attention to detail. He follows all of our care instructions exactly as asked—whether it’s medication for Bruiser or special feeding needs for Bailey. He’s punctual, responsible, and always respectful of our home. Every time we return, everything is left neat and exactly as we left it (except for the dogs, who are clearly happier after spending time with him!). Perhaps the most telling thing of all is how much Bruiser and Bailey love him. They get so excited to see Logan—it’s obvious that they feel safe, cared for, and loved when he’s around. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pets as if they were his own, look no further than Logan. He’s reliable, thoughtful, and has a true gift when it comes to working with animals. We trust him completely and highly recommend him to any pet parent looking for top-notch care. Logan is truly a gem! — Marissa”
