“Antonio is an amazing dog walker. He brings treats for my dog, Kapu, and makes sure Kapu takes water breaks during his walks. I’m almost never home when Antonio comes but I assure you that you can trust him 100% with any task. He knows where my house keys are & he leaves everything back in its place and always brings my dog safely back home after every walk. I really trust this guy & He’s always the first person I turn to when I need someone to walk my dog. Also, my dog is pretty big and really needs to get his exercise in, most dog walkers can barely get a mile done in a hour but Antonio pretty much always walks 2 miles with my dog which is AMAZING since my dog can become pretty destructive when he’s home alone & full of energy but luckily he comes home to sleep after his walk! I am looking forward to continuing to work with Antonio! Thanks for everything!”

“Emma is always in time, patient and loving with rocky. He adores her! It’s great to have someone love our pup as much as we do! Definitely recommend Emma to everyone”

“Lisa is a very kind, gentle person who we hired to walk our dog, Rico, 5x (30 min ea walk) during our honeymoon. When we got the first couple of doggie report cards, Lisa had only walked rico 0.5ish miles. I was disappointed because I had hoped a 30 min walk would be closer to 1.5 miles. I spoke with Lisa about this and his next walks were 1 mile. It may be my own fault for not specifying that I wanted the emphasis of her 30min time blocks to be actually walking, vs playing with toys or brushing him, which are perfectly nice things to do but not for such a high energy dog like ours. Overall, our dog is alive and happy. Lisa fed our cat for free and helped coordinate visits/feedings with my family, who was also helping care for the pets. Some of the report cards showed that Lisa had spent 45 mins with Rico while only being payed for the 30, which I thought was very generous.”

“Great communication, totally reliable, and Lexi loves her”

“Kathy continues to amaze. She is caring and detailed in her dog care! Thank you!”

About: I have always been around dogs since I was born, whether it be pets of friends, neighbors, or my own. I have had countless experiences with cats as well through friends and family, and know how to entertain, walk, feed, and connect with furry friends of all sizes. I love to maintain an active lifestyle, and will always try to compete with your pet to see who has the most energy, but if they are more laid back, I can assure you that your pet will receive plenty of love! I love animals and being around them, and I know what it is like to leave a pet in someone else's care. Your pet's well-being is my top priority! I am currently taking a gap year between college and post-grad opportunities. I have availability on most days from early morning to around 5:00 pm. If needed, I am open to late nights as well, as long as I am asked in advance. I can't wait to meet your furry companion! I love pets! I like to make the most of my time and maintain an active lifestyle, and hope to engage in activities such as walking, playing, and simply just spending time with your pets. However, I also enjoy a more chill cuddle or lazy day. I am very patient and considerate and am good at adjusting to my environment. I currently do not have my own, but am familiar with being around and caring for animals in their own homes, and am very understanding of any rules an individual may have when it comes to their furry friend. My main priority is the well-being of your pet, and making sure they are as comfortable and have as much fun as possible!

“Lena was a pleasure to work with. She was reliable & took great care of our pup!”

About: I have had my family dog for the past 8 years, a small chihuahua. I love playing fetch with dogs and giving them belly rubs. I currently work from home Monday and Fridays so I am able to take a break and come help whenever needed. On the days I am in the office I can stop by after work. I can play with your pet, I can feed them what ever their diet consists of, I can take them on however long of a walk they enjoy because I also enjoy walking.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for years; starting from when I was very young to the present, caring for my own and other's pets. My experience ranges from caring for puppies to senior dogs: I stay with them and ensure they are fed, walked, and loved. I am retired, so pets fit into my schedule easily. I do some part-time work but normally just for three-four hours on weekdays, so I can commit to long term pet care and house-sitting, as I no longer have pets of my own (so look forward to caring for yours)! I can only care for pets at the clients' homes at this time. I am very respectful of your home and your animal(s)' care, like following a restricted diet; I do, as I would want a pet-sitter to do for my pets.

About: I have had many different pets since I was a child, taking care of a lot them. I have watched up to 3 dogs at a time, with ease. Currently I have a dog, cat, and bunny, so I’m well versed in taking care of different animals. On the daily, I have to feed and give water to my cat and bunny. On a more weekly basis, I clean my cat’s litter box and also clean my bunny’s cage. I am attentive to my pet’s ensuring all their needs are taken care of. I love to spend time with them whenever possible, as well.

“Ella was great with our dog and walked him even in the rain.”

About: From an early age, I discovered my love for canine companionship while raising a doodle a retriever—check out my photos! After a decade of training, long walks, potty breaks, and plenty of playtime, I settled into Newport and decided to rescue a pup of my own from the Potter League. A wild and vibrant Siberian Husky, my dog, Lady Day, is my ultimate sidekick—You can always find us outdoors enjoying life in some capacity! I rescued Lady following a back leg amputation, so as a tripod dog, she’s taught me patience and how to adapt to any pet’s special needs. Lady is a very high energy dog with some resource guarding habits, so I’m experienced at working with reactive dogs. Compassion above all! My schedule is flexible, so let’s connect! I look forward to working with both you and your dog soon. I’m currently working part-time on Saturdays-Tuesdays from 12:00pm-6:00pm. I’m available all mornings and other days for drop-in visits (6 hours max) and potty breaks but do not have the flexibility for overnight stays or drop-off care at my own home. I’m ready to support whatever both you and your dog need to be safe, healthy, and happy in the comfort of your home environment. Every family and pooch is different! It’s very important for me that all parties—dog included!— feel heard and understood in addressing what a successful home experience with a caretaker looks like.

“Ashlee was very courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive. We were able to easily coordinate Luna's walks with her and we will definitely work with Ashlee again.”

“Anna is fantastic! She is prompt and reliable and my dogs absolutely adore her!”

About: I have an 11 year old shih tzu and a 13 year old Persian cat. I worked as a dog handler at a doggy daycare for six months caring for dogs off leash and also overnight. I am able to administer medications or any other request your pet may require. I currently walk dogs and petsit when I am needed. I am looking to get more clients for petsitting because I enjoy being around animals! It is always a bit stressful for pets when owners leave them. I will be there to comfort your animals best that I can. I will make sure to give them plenty of love, attention, and play that they need while you are away.

“Lyndsey is wonderful”

About: I grew up with dogs since birth, I have my own 3yo dog & I have cared for many dogs as a professional pet are specialist and walker at my recent job in NYC. I am privately insured through the company Pet Care Insurance. Besides constantly caring for my own pet, I never get tired of spending time with animals. I look forward to even more pets and love in the future! Your pet is your baby. I know mine is my baby. I take pet care as seriously as babysitting. I have full respect for your space as I hope anyone caring for my pet has in my home. Like the boy scouts say, leave no trace!

About: Love to be active and go on adventures with your pup or simply hangout and shower them with affection! Flexible schedule to accommodate a variety of needs. Happy to run pet errands including appointments at the vet, a trip to the beach, or a fun visit to the pet store. Can't wait to meet your furry friend and spend time together. Fluent in dog "whoz a goo doggo" and Cat “psst psst psst”. If your dog loves the company of others, I’ll bring my little pup along too! Flexible hours to attend to your pet including some weekend availability! I’m home during the day and can likely accept last-minute appointments. Look forward to meeting! I’m comfortable with a variety of tasks and services. We can go for a walk, play, have a snack or even just cuddle on the couch.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life, I have one cat and a three year old cavapoo. I would love to help care for your furry friends! I’m working from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I have two young daughters one is in school, and the other is home with me and loves animals. I have a huge yard, and live on a very safe street. I have one little cavapoo who’s one year old, and great with other dogs!

About: Hi, my name is Maddy, and my husband is Joseph! We are a military family who are originally from a small town in Pennsylvania! We have previously been stationed in California and DC, and just recently moved here to Rhode Island! In CA I began pet sitting on rover and fell in love with caring for pets who needed a place to call home while their owners were away! Now that we are here for my husbands new duty station, we are excited to meet new furry friends! We have two fur babies named Salem & Norman! Salem and Norman are both Tri-Color Pembroke Corgis, and are both 6 years old! Salem & Norman are each others best friend and are super friendly to dogs, cats, small animals and people! I have cared for many friends, family, and community members dogs while they were away, and have experience with both younger, older, smaller, bigger, and all types of breeds for 10+ years! I’ve been pet sitting for rover for 6 years now and have gotten to meet so many new furry friends! Our home is very pet friendly, pets are allowed on all the furniture, and we have a fenced in backyard for them to enjoy! We do ask that all pets are potty and crate trained prior to their stay! For stays lasting 7+ days we definitely recommend booking a trial night to make sure it will be a good fit for your pup throughout the duration of your trip. I also may provide drop off/pick up round trip for an additional cost -my housing does have breed restrictions for the following: Pit Bulls (American Staffordshire Bull Terriers or English Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Rottweilers, Doberman Pinchers, Chows, and wolf hybrids I will not be able to board these breeds in my home, if I can help you with drop ins at your home please let me know(: Evening drop off/pick up times typically work better for our schedules especially during the weekdays. Weekends are typically more flexible! ☺️ I work part time so I may be gone for a few hours a day during your pets stay. Due to this I am unable to provide constant care, it’s important that your pet is comfortable being left alone for a few hours at a time while we’re away! We do have cameras, including a Furbo pet cam to keep an eye on our furry friends and ensure their safety when we are apart! I have a fenced in backyard to keep any pups secure during their visit. I typically like to crate pups overnight or when I’m not home to ensure they are safe when I’m not watching. We also have a Furbo pet camera to keep extra eyes on the pets at all times!
