About: I spend my free time volunteering at a local dog rescue. I am a born & raised Midwesterner who is a true "Dog Mom." I am a retired teacher who has lived in SW Florida for four years now. I have embraced the Florida lifestyle even taking my dog out in a "doggy stroller!" I have been trusted to watch and care for friends' dogs and cats for days at a time or even weeks while they've gone on vacation. I love their pets like my own. I am picky about who watches my own dog, so I would like any pet owner to know that their little furball is in good hands while they're away. I work part-time so I have flexibility during the week. I am also available on weekends. I'm willing to discuss any specific time needs with pet owners as well. I am a self-described "early bird" which allows me to walk dogs when the weather is cooler. My dogs have always had full run of the house except when I'm away and then they are put into a crate (mostly for their own protection so they're not eating or chewing on items they shouldn't!) or trying to jump on or off furniture. My dogs have always been treated extremely well. When I wake up early in the morning, my dog goes out first thing, gets a treat, then gets fed breakfast. We usually do a small walk. I take into account the age and wellness of the dog. I had an elderly dog who used to walk two miles every day, but then he slowed down a lot, so I adjusted his walk distances. I also adjust to the Florida heat! No walks during the hottest hours! I like to get out early and walk. Speaking of walking or playing - my favorite motto is: A tired dog is a happy dog!

About: Over the past 4 years, I’ve helped take care of a family member’s dog (golden retriever) which included house sitting, daily walks, playing fetch, vet visits and grooming appointments. I recently retired and have lots of free time and a very flexible schedule. I’m looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where I can enjoys walks with a buddy and cuddles from a fur-baby. About: I’ve been a dog lover since I was a baby. My family has always had a dog in the home. We have had a Boarder Collie, German Shepherds, Labs and mixed pups. I have always been very loving with my pets and have always trained them to not be loud except in dangerous situations. I love to just spend time, walk, and play catch with dogs. Right now we are super busy with sports and school but I stay at home so I’m available most of the time. I am available during the weekends and will be able to have a dog at our home or can come to your home. Whatever makes your dog happiest! I have a huge fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs to run around and play. I do spray for bugs and ants so that isn’t an issue. I do have lizards that our puppies love to chase. I do have a pond in our backyard but we have a fence. The dogs like to watch the birds and bunnies. I do pick up doggy duties right after so don’t worry about your buddy trying to eat others. I know some dogs do that. YUCK! I do have older children that love all pets, however I will always be 100% responsible your pets.

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was a child, big and little dogs. I’ve recently lost my 2 dogs at the ages of 14 and 12 about a year apart. I love to travel so, not ready for another furry friend of my own but, miss being around them so much!! I have raised dogs from puppies all the way to end of life, through some illnesses. I would love to come shower your pets with love, walks and treats:) I currently do not work. I am new to the area and love animals and walking so have decided to mesh the two. I am available any day of the week and won’t be rushing to get back to another job. I will shower your pets with attention and love.
