“Remy was fantastic with our boy. Gave him twice daily walks and tired him out. We appreciate you so much, Remy. Loved the twice daily pics of our Charlie. Definitely will use her again!”

“We were traveling internationally, and having someone we could truly trust with Hokulani and Halia gave us tremendous peace of mind. Cami B walked our dogs 11 out of the 12 days we were gone and did a wonderful job with both of them. She was dependable, caring, attentive, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. Our pups were well cared for, happy, and comfortable the entire time, which meant the world to us while we were away. It is not easy to find someone you feel completely confident in with your pets, and she exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable dog walker.”

“Betsy responded to my inquiries for available dates promptly and arrived in the mid-day window we discussed. I appreciate the pictures she captured to let me know my dog had a good walk and chance to get outside. I will absolutely hire her again.”

“Alexandrea is one of a kind. She cares very much about my animals, and their well being. I trust her to walk my little puppy for me multiple days per week. She is very knowledgable about what Willow needs and cares that Willow has her needs met. She has great suggestions for me in regards to stimulation, toys, food for upset tummy.. etc. We are lucky to have her in our lives! Thank you Alexandrea!”

“Lindsey is a great communicator and very professional. I really enjoy the photos she takes on the walks. The girls seem to like her and they look really happy in her photos. Definitely will continue using her services when needed.”

“Stephany walked my dog Delilah and she was great. She was prompt, efficient, fairly priced and most important very caring when it came to the care of my doggo. She understands that my dog is a big part of my life and she treated her like she was family. She gave great reports about Delilah's walks and if she had fun and made sure to let me know if she went to the restroom. If I need a walker again I will surely pick her.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
