About: I have been taking care of dogs for over 10 years now. From tiny puppies to large breeds, I’m comfortable handling all dogs of all sizes. Working part time, and would love to spend time with furry friends. Have a reliable vehicle, and I pride myself in providing a wonderful experience for your pup. Feel extremely comfortable creating a dog. Have lots of experience feeding dogs, happy to clean up your yard of all dog poop as well on my visits.
“Amaya made quick friends with my high-energy dog, Willow. She helped alleviate some of my separation anxiety as someone seeking their first dog sitter, and made sure my dog had a chance to get outside to do her business.”

“We liked Isaac very much. He was always on time, exercised our dog well by running with him, not just walking. His report cards were detailed and fun to read. Most importantly, the dog was happy and tired. We’ll definitely use Isaac’s services in the future. Thank you, Isaac!”

“My 1 year old lab took to Alexandrea right away! She spent 1 hour walking my pup while I had a long day at work and I came home to a happy, not stressed, pup. I will definitely book her again!”

“Taylor was very accommodating and flexible with some last minute plan changes. She took great care of our dog, and sent us detailed reports about the walks. Highly recommended, would not hesitate to book again”

“Grace has been great with my dog , always able to accommodate to my schedule. I have been rebooking with her and my dog is even comfortable with her as well.”
About: Hi! I’m Jess, and my husband and I are huge animal lovers who know pets are family, not just animals. Since we both work from home, your pets will get plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day instead of being left alone for long periods. We have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities, including multi-pet households, senior pets, anxious pets, and pets that need medication or a little extra patience. Over the years, we’ve helped care for pets for friends, family, and neighbors, and we genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether your dog loves long walks and playing fetch or your cat prefers a calm environment and quiet company, we’re happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable and safe. We also know how hard it can be being away from your pets, so you can expect regular updates and lots of photos while they’re in our care. Our goal is simple: happy pets, stress-free owners, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind through regular updates and photos along the way. Pet care fits really naturally into our daily routine because we both work remotely full time, which allows us to be flexible, attentive, and present throughout the day. We genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s walks, playtime, sticking to feeding schedules, or just giving them company so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. We’re both very routine-oriented and understand how important consistency is for pets, so we do our best to keep their normal schedule and environment stress-free. Since we’re home throughout the day, pets get plenty of attention, supervision, and care instead of being left alone for long periods. We care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable and relaxed. During house sits, we stick closely to your pet’s normal routine including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and all the little things that help them feel safe while you’re away. We also make sure your home stays clean, secure, and well cared for. We know how important updates are when you’re missing your pets, so we love sending photos and check-ins throughout the stay. Our goal is for both you and your pets to feel completely at ease while you’re away.
“Lindsey is a great communicator and very professional. I really enjoy the photos she takes on the walks. The girls seem to like her and they look really happy in her photos. Definitely will continue using her services when needed.”

“Lauren is fantastic. She’s great with Coda, dependable, professional, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. Coda loves spending time with her, and she’s always a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve had my tortie, Mia, for about 5 years now since she was 6 months old! She’s my cuddly companion, although she can be moody so I’m comfortable taking care of animals who may be a bit more shy with strangers. My fiancé adopted a puppy in March 2024, and I’ve been helping raise her as well for the past 2 years. It’s been a fun journey, and I’d love to watch your little ones! I’ve had family dogs for a long time, and can take care of our elderly friends too. Friends have entrusted me to housesit and watch their pets, and now I’m looking to help out in the community! Let’s chat and see if I’m a good fit for your furry friend! I currently work a 4x10; Monday-Wednesday and Saturdays. I am available all day Thursday, Friday, and Sunday as well as evenings on the remaining days. I take the puppy out in the early hours of the morning so I’m used to waking up early to let our furry friends use the bathroom! Our pup would love to make new friends and play with your little one to keep them company! Mia, my cat, has trusted me to take care of her for the past 5 years, so you can too! I like to go on long walks with the dogs if needed, and I’m close to a dog park if they like to play with others.
About: I have had dogs since I was very little and loved every minute of it. My dogs have needed meds given in numerous ways so this is no problem for me with your dog(s). I understand and respect space and how scary a new human can be to a dog. This can take time for some babies but this will not deter me. Whatever comfort and happiness means to them, I look forward to providing it. My schedule is pretty free at the moment. Feel free to reach out and let me know what you need and I'll do my best to accommodate that. Pets need all different types of care to feel at ease and happy. My dog loves to play and sun bathe so we make sure he gets plenty of that daily. My cats prefer to do their own thing so long as they have food and toys to entertain themselves. Whatever it is they need to thrive, I do everything possible to meet that and hopefully even more so. Just let me know their likes and dislikes, their loves and hates and I would be more than happy to do my best to replicate their normal life and maybe spoil them a bit; if allowed.
About: Have been pet sitting neighbors dogs and cats before. This includes feeding, topping off water, walking, and cleaning up after them. They were Pomeranian, chiwawa mix, border Collie, and short haired Bernese Mountain Dog. Also comfortable with cats as well. Not afraid of litter box cleaning, feeding, and topping off water. Love to use cat toys. I am currently unemployed and have a very flexible schedule right now. I am more than happy to help any pet in need to help the owners out. I normally play with the pet, make sure they have enough food and water. Make sure their needs are met. Take them for walks if needed.

“We needed a few last minute walks, and Nancy was super responsive and did a great job. She communicated clearly, took cute photos, and is on our short list for the future. Thanks Nancy!”

About: We are a family of 5! Both my husband and I have grown up with pets and our children have always been around them as well. We have a 5 year old black lab named Blu, a 2 year old rescue named Gus, a 19 year old cat named Oskar and 3 guinea pigs-Winnie, Aspen, and Kevin. We also foster dogs through a local rescue. My husband works away from the home while I stay home during the day as "CEO of Homestead Operations" :) We have a fenced in back yard with plenty of shade, lots of trails around our house as well as a large field right across the street. References are available and happy to answer any questions you may have!! We can't wait to meet you and a furry friend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
