About: My partner and I live in Astoria with our dog Inky! We fostered a dog for 2 months and miss having a 2nd dog around! Currently we don't have time for a full time 2nd dog but would love to go on walks/ board other dogs with our 4 year old Inky. Both Steven and I have fostered dogs individually and together and we understand the priceless feeling of a worry-free boarding experience for dog parents! We feel that caring for other people's pet children is a true honor! I'm working part time and my partner Steven WFH some days. We go to the park most weekend mornings and like to spend the entire day with the dog(s). Whether it is at home snuggling on the couch, or at a dog-friendly coffee shop. We make sure to not leave small items (ex. airpods) laying around, garbage is thrown away, and the apartment is very much baby/dog-proofed in general.

About: I have 5 years of experience dog walking. I have been dog sitting on and off for the past few years. I have a dog of my own that I have had for 3 years. I treat your dog as if he or she was my own dog. I am very responsive while I watch the dog. I enjoy sending lots of pictures and updates to the owner. I used to have a dog named Princess who was alive for 13 years. She enjoyed snuggles a lot! I also had a dog named Harley. She belongs to my dad now. I've had my Benji Boy for 3 years now. I used to take care of Harley when my father went away on vacation. I made sure I fed her, walked her and gave her lots of attention. I also gave her treats if she was being a good listener. I feed Benji two times a day, I add water to his bowl about 4 times a day, I take him out in the backyard every 4 hours, I walk him early in the morning before I go to my day job. Benji is very friendly and loves being social with other dogs! I will make sure your dog is given lots of attention and love. I have open availability right now until I find a full time job. Please send a message to ask if I will be available during a specific holiday. I can walk your dog in the afternoon and make sure they are fed and have water in their bowls. I go to client's homes because I feel the dog will be more comfortable being in their own environment. Usually the dog is very comfortable being in their own home and is able to get comfortable with me. If there are any rules in the house, I follow them. I make sure to keep the common areas clean if I end up staying over someone's home.

About: Animals are the center of my universe. I grew up with animals of all kinds; cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, birds, fish, ferrets. I’m currently a mom to a female golden retriever, two beautiful ferret daughters and a baby boy bird. I hope to retire one day and own an animal rescue farm. I believe it is our job as humans to give all sentient beings the absolute best love and care and to make sure they feel safe. I am keen to make sure wildlife is safe wherever possible. I’ll pull over on the side of the road to help turtles cross to the other side of the reservoir. On a daily basis I will prioritize every animal from the moment I wake up. I can and will do it all. Feeding, cleaning, walking, playing, giving them love and attention. As I mentioned above, animals are the center of my universe. I want each and every animal to trust me and feel safe with me while under my care.

About: Having had two cherished pets throughout my childhood, I've always had a strong bond with animals. Plus, my boyfriend has five pets that I adore. From feeding and playtime to walks and snuggles, I have years of experience caring for all kinds of animals. Your pets will feel loved and well cared for with me! About: Hello fellow dog people! I have over 5 years worth of experience caring for and training dogs. Even though this app mainly focuses on the walking and sitting aspect, I take the liberty of also focusing in on teaching/reinforcing basic commands every dog should know, as well as behaviors that are welcomed, and teaching what behaviors are not welcomed. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game when it comes to dogs and what sets me apart from other sitters you ask? Well, the triple C’s, that’s what. Gotta be Calm, Cool, and Collected ;) I’m currently working full time and no longer am an active Rover Walker/Sitter. I’m only available Tuesday-Thursday before 2PM and the occasional Saturday or Sunday mornings. I keep awareness of the pet’s food/water intake, whereabouts, any health concerns and their mood as well. I respect whoever’s space I am in as well as the pet’s space. I try my best to live by the golden rule said by Jesus The Christ: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”.

About: I started walking my neighbors’ dogs, then my friends’ dogs and then my family's dogs. Walking dogs was becoming an extremely joyful experience for me. I was able to gain knowledge on different type of breeds and the amount of dogs I walked had gradually increased. Whenever owners would go on vacation, I realized that I was the first person they would contact. They appreciated how I attended their dogs with love and care. I have a clientele that has been with me for more than 3 years. I am able to stay home and tend to the pups full-time. I have a fully fenced yard as well as activities/toys for them to play with. I also have multiple crates and beds for the dogs to lay in.

About: I currently have a small Bichpoo (Bichon fris and toy poodle mix) and have had 2 labs and a cat in the past. I have 3 years dog/ cat sitting experience (outside of care my own pets) . I can administer most medications. I will treat you fur baby like my own . I allow them to sleep in my bed and are allowed on furniture ( as long as they’re clean ) I currently work 4 days a week from home and not available on Wednesdays . I have frequent breaks and can provide min 3 20 min walks a day and overnight stays as long as it isn’t on Wednesday I do not have a fenced yard but will take frequent walks around the neighborhood and keep you dog (and mine ) on a leash. I am willing to care for your pet in your home if necessary .
