About: I have taken care of animals since I was 13. I cared for neighborhood pets, family pets, and my own! I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and even reptiles, and birds! There is nothing I love more in this world than animals<3 I am looking for something to keep me busy throughout the summer. About: Hi there! I can’t wait to welcome your pet into my home. Dogs and cats who stay here are treated like guests of honor, with all the care and attention I bestow upon my own pets. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, pets are allowed to roam freely in a cozy, familiar home environment — no rows of kenneled dogs here! I’m very selective about the pets I accept. I usually only accept a maximum of 3-4 dogs at once. I meet every new pet before booking, and I usually won’t accept more than one new dog at a time, alongside repeat clients. This ensures that I’m familiar with how all the dogs will interact with each other, with only one new variable, thus avoiding potentially uncomfortable or dangerous situations for your pet. I’ve always loved animals, and with more than 15 years of pet care under my belt, I have the knowledge and experience to provide your pets with the best care possible. I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously, and I’m certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Earliest drop off or pickup is at 8 am. Latest drop off or pickup is at 8 pm on weekdays, 9 pm on weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins at your home, every day except Saturday mornings. (I’m available Saturday evenings instead.) For Dogs: I have a large, unfenced backyard that dogs love exploring on a 50-foot long leash - so many scents to sniff and chipmunks to chase! I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. Everyone that knows me, knows that I am the ultimate pet lover and treated my dogs as well as my children. We have a nice home in River Vale, NJ with a huge 6' high fenced in yard. I am married with triplets - 22 years old and they love playing with our guest dogs. I have my own big crate set up (only if you crate your dog) and ready to welcome your dog(s) into my home when you need to be away overnight or for an extended period of time. I will do my best to keep your treasured pet on their own schedule with feedings, playtime and time outside running around the back yard or if you prefer, walks only. I've made floor dogs into lap dogs, they get extra spoiled with me! You will also get lots of photos & updates when you are away. I just recently changed my setting to small to medium dogs if you are a repeat customer and can not find me on line. I'm also available for dog day care in my home if my calendar is free. About: I've been a dog owner for 20 wonderful years, dogs are my passion! They love me and I love them, from puppies to seniors, toys to giants. I am lucky have a fenced in, wooded, private, 2 acre property with plenty of room for zoomies. Boarding dogs is my main gig, so I stay home with them all day and night. They are never unsupervised, inside or outside my property. I live in a safe, wooded, quiet, 2 acre, fenced-in lot. There are lots of dogs on my block who love to socialize and have play dates if that's what your dog is into. I'm at the end of a dirt road, nowhere near any traffic, so it is very safe and private.
