About: I have a deep appreciation for animals, which stems from growing up with various pets. I've had dogs and cats I trained and cared for since they were puppies or kittens. Even had a pair of parrots, turtles, and a snake! My genuine respect for animals is why friends and family continue to trust in my enthusiasm to extend reliable and loving care to their little ones. I will go to your home for Drop-In Visits or House Sitting (no overnights). I have found it's less stressful for your little one(s) if they are in a familiar environment. I currently work part-time with flexible hours, so I can be free to meet your pet's schedule! With advanced notice, I can try to accommodate any schedule. I want to carefully learn your pet(s) routine so I can provide a similar environment for them. I know it can be nerve wracking leaving them behind, so I'll make sure you receive updates from your bestie!

About: I grew up with and have raised dogs my whole life, so I naturally know how to handle everything from high-energy puppies to calm seniors. Since I don't have any pets of my own right now, I have plenty of extra energy to focus entirely on your pet during our time together. I have a very calm presence that pets naturally love, and whether we are going for a long exercise hike or a quick potty break, I’ll make sure your pet stays safe, happy, and well-exercised. I'm a current graduate student who is available most of the day and weekends if needed. Mondays and Tuesdays, I have class from 6 pm - 10 pm so I am not available then. Whether I am walking your dog or checking in on them at your house, their safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I am extremely responsible with house keys and security, and I always make sure doors and gates are double-locked before I leave. Since I grew up with dogs, I’m very alert to my surroundings and keep a close eye on body language to avoid any stressful situations with other animals or traffic. I also love sending plenty of photo updates so you can see exactly how much fun your pup is having while staying safe and well-cared for.

About: I’ve been dog walking, dog & cat & small pet sitting since starting my own business in the 6th grade (2006). I have a dog of my own, and love spending time with animals. I have experience giving cats and dogs scheduled medication and have a lot of experience in animal care and behavior. I have trained my own dog since he was a puppy so have experience with guiding younger pups on walks and in play! On the opposite side of the spectrum I have also cared for my own elderly/senior dogs and cats and the healthcare that comes with it. I have a gentle approach and am lucky enough to usually be well received by animal pals :) I am also a photographer, and love doing pet portraits! I am working part-time with a rotating schedule so my availability will change week to week. I am happy to make things work for your schedule and love incorporating it into my weekly plans. I have a dog of my own and live on a busy street, so I’m used to being keyed in on where my pup (or a kitty) is at all times. I’ll confirm that gates are closed and always bring a pet outside on a leash first before letting them off leash to confirm that the yard is secure. Happy to confirm that windows or doors are locked whenever I’m wrapping up!

About: I've always had cats and I've had a dog for the past 3 years. I volunteer at Paws Crossed with my daughter, where we walk dogs and socialize cats. I have a flexible schedule, but need advance notice in order to coordinate other activities. In home pet sitting in lower Westchester is easier for me. I have a fenced in yard and crates. At a client's home, I enjoy going for walks, and playing inside and outside with the dog.

About: I started walking dogs when I was 15, two dogs every night and ended up knowing half the complex’s pets by name. Ten years of that teaches you a lot. Every dog is different and that’s genuinely my favorite part. Some are anxious and just need patience and consistency to come out of their shell. Some stop to sniff everything on the sidewalk and I let them take their time. It’s their walk. I’m easy to work with, I communicate well, and I take the dogs in my care seriously. I’m available weekdays and I prefer recurring schedules because dogs do better with routine, and so do their owners. Dogs thrive on routine and it makes things easier for everyone. I pay attention. On every walk I’m aware of what’s around us, how your dog is feeling, and what they need in that moment. My goal is simple: bring your dog home happy and give you one less thing to worry about.

I am also using this opportunity to help decide on getting a pet myself. I am available mid-day, afternoons, and evenings 7 days a week. I can be available at other times if and as needed.
