Safety, trust & environment
I have a dog of my own and live on a busy street, so I’m used to being keyed in on where my pup (or a kitty) is at all times. I’ll confirm that gates are closed and always bring a pet outside on a leash first before letting them off leash to confirm that the yard is secure. Happy to confirm that windows or doors are locked whenever I’m wrapping up!

Pet care experience
I’ve been dog walking, dog & cat & small pet sitting since starting my own business in the 6th grade (2006). I have a dog of my own, and love spending time with animals. I have experience giving cats and dogs scheduled medication and have a lot of experience in animal care and behavior. I have trained my own dog since he was a puppy so have experience with guiding younger pups on walks and in play! On the opposite side of the spectrum I have also cared for my own elderly/senior dogs and cats and the healthcare that comes with it. I have a gentle approach and am lucky enough to usually be well received by animal pals :) I am also a photographer, and love doing pet portraits!

Reviews
I’ve never known a bigger animal lover than Sarah. Due to the fact that we live close to each other, I often leave my dog with her when I go out for the day or even a rare overnight and I never have a single worry. My dog is 9 years old and has a special diet with added supplements and ingredients AND on top of that has an attitude that could rival Regina George but I know that when she’s with Sarah the feed/walk routine is never broken and any special instructions are always adhered to. My dog adores here when she sees her. And her care extends to all living things. She’s even driven baby raccoons 2 hours to a sanctuary when the mother died in her backyard.
Sarah is a dog whisperer and a lover of all animals. She has cared for my two rescue dogs (as well as my elderly parrot and not so elderly parrot). She is a wonderful dog mom to her own dog. She is kind, gentle and very patient. I watched her work with my sister's rescued dog when she first arrived in the US, calm her fears and help to make her comfortable in a new environment far from her original home in Mexico where she was abused. As a flight angel, she flew home a very scared cat from Cancun to New York and helped the kitty when she was stressed from going through security to flying home on a plane. Sarah is the best I would trust her 100% with my fur and feathered babies who are my children.
Ciccio is more than just a dog to me—he’s family. And Sarah is the best pet caretaker I’ve ever trusted with him. From the moment we met, her genuine kindness, patience, and thoughtful presence put both of us at ease. Sarah always arrives on time, sticks to Ciccio’s feeding and walking routine, and sends little updates that feel like a friend checking in rather than a caretaker. Sarah is the person to choose.
Sarah took care of my beloved cat, Sketch. She has such a great vibe that even my cat who won’t eat for anyone ate for her when I was away for a week. Highly reliable not only with logistics but also the part of care and play. Sarah’s our go to cat sitter!
