My pitbull is fearful and reactive toward people, but within a few minutes of their first meeting, Hannah had Maisie taking treats from her hand and playing fetch. Once she started playing fetch with Maisie, my dog completely ignored me and kept bringing the ball back to Hannah instead of me. Maisie has never done that with other people. I've had Hannah come to the house 3x and it's been great every time. Maisie loves her. Hannah is really easy to communicate with, is always on time and has great ideas about how to work with my dogs. About: For three years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One is a senior at 12 years old and the other is still in his adolescent phase at 2 1/2. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. I am available: 12-2pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Evenings Monday-Friday. Most weekends are open. I am also available for some overnights, which can be discussed. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

I’d love to know ahead of time if your dog has any special talents like escape artistry, opening trash cans, or jumping onto the kitchen counter and scarfing down an entire loaf of bread in under 10 seconds (real story). We have experience with training and senior care. We both work from home and have flexible schedules, so we have lots of time to lavish attention on the animals in our care. Our animals are extremely spoiled and yours will be too ;). We have a fenced yard. We have one tiny chihuahua and two friendly cats to keep your little one company. We can use a crate if this feels safe for your pup.

About: I grew up with two pit bulls, so I know how to take care of strong high energy dogs. I have also taken care of golden retrievers, corgis, cattle dogs and aussie doodles. I love all pets and will take care of them responsibly and diligently! I work part time, so I am very free to take care of pets during weekdays and the weekend!
