About: I cared for my yellow Labrador, Sparky, for 12 years. From puppyhood to his senior years, our daily walks, playtime, and belly rubs were some of my favorite ways to connect and spend quality time together. Daily walks were one of my favorite bonding activities with my dog, Sparky, so I truly understand how important they are for both physical health and mental stimulation. I make sure the leash is secure, stay alert to surroundings making sure it is a safe area to walk in, and follow your dog’s routine and preferences. A couple of things went wrong in the house while we were away (nothing to do with Michael) and he handled them with complete grace. “Rachel was FANTASTIC with our 70+ pound Rottweiler/Husky with separation anxiety. She played and engaged with him when his energy was up, and let him lounge and rest when he needed it. We got frequent photo and text updates (and she takes really great doggy photos), and she even did an art project with him. He was happy and relaxed when we got home. I regularly take my dogs out for relief and exercise in my yard. They get regular feedings and water bowl cleanings to make sure they are well fed and hydrated. When it gets hot, I make sure to add ice cubes to their water, provide them with pupsicles (frozen dog safe ice cream!), and keep the AC running. I always make sure to build in playtime and snuggles to make them feel loved and cared for.
