About: March 2023 update: We had said goodbyes to our most beloved Ryan dog. For all of you who have been through lost, we now understand you and cry with you. We will slowly open up our schedule possibly starting summer time. You’ll see Ryan showing up in most of our photos and descriptions of our dog care style. We are just not ready to go through it and edit any yet… Thank you for understanding :) Hi! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Xu, my partner Sam and our little senior dog Ryan welcome you to our profile. We love going for walks in the neighborhood and nearby forest preserves, and some days we just lounge and sunbathe at home. I would love for your dog to join us! I believe positive reinforcement is the only way to train a dog, maybe we'll try some clicker training if your dog is interested. Ryan is an 13(ish)-year-old brindle 17 pounder. Ryan is very friendly with other doggies, no matter big or small! He likes to go for long walks, sniff around, greet other people and dogs, do some tricks to get yummy snacks, and sunbathe! We will be spending plenty of time by your dog's side as we will be home the entire time. Ryan the dog usually lounge throughout the day when he is inside the house. We will be sending plenty photos and videos updates and keeping an open line of communication. We live in a dog-friendly Townhouse next to a forest preserve for walkies! Ryan is very quiet and will not get in your dog's business. If your dog does not enjoy "parallel play" and need a play partner, Ryan is not going to be a good fit. We host dogs from only one household at a time, unless everyone meets and agree to each other prior to the stay :)

About: I love taking care of dogs. I have my own dog who is very friendly and loves to play but also loves to be lazy. I've watched dogs for friends and family members for years and always enjoy it so I decided to open my home to more frequent furry guests. All dogs are treated like my own and get lots of love and attention (or space, if that's what they prefer). I'm happy to administer medications or accommodate individual needs. Working from home full-time enables me to closely supervise furry guests and allow for plenty of time to tend to their needs and provide lots of outside time by opening and closing the door multiple times a day (haha). I have a fenced-in yard and large deck for doggy sunbathing. My dog loves having canine guests and doesn't mind sharing me, his bed, toys, or food. I also have a 12-year-old daughter who absolutely loves having more dogs around. I have lots of extra blankets and allow dogs on the furniture and beds. Everything is washed regularly. Paws are always wiped on muddy yard days. If your dog prefers sleeping in a crate or having a crate for alone time, that is perfectly fine, too.

About: Last minute requests? No problem! 27 years of experience with all types of breeds. Dogs were my childhood passion! In elementary school I volunteered at the local animal shelter every week, walking & playing with the shelter dogs. I would raise money on my own by selling candy to my classmates during recess for profit to donate to the shelter. I've had a variety of dog breeds my whole life from little Daschunds to my big Great Dane! I have experience handling dogs of all different sizes. My current fur babies are 2 German Shepherds, Ammo & Ghost. I use Rover for when I need care for them so I know what it is like to be on the Pet Parent end of this. :) I would love to meet your pup & spend a part of my day with them. WALK REQUESTS: I love walks just as much as dogs do! I'm able to provide walks around your neighborhood and I'm happy to do so in all weather conditions! I have experience with all breeds and I'm not even a little intimidated by the big ones :) BOARDING REQUESTS: During boarding, I'm usually engaging with your dog(s) by playing fetch outside, taking a daily walk, and/or snuggling on the couch depending our your dog(s) personality! :) We have a doggy door so on nice days, I leave our doggy door open for your dog(s) and mine to come in and out as they please. I have the ability to gate off parts of my home if I ever feel there is a concern with dogs getting along when I need to step out during the day. I'm a SAHM and am readily available for last minute requests that are before 3 pm during week days. Feel free to reach out anytime, I'm happy to help! “Our stay with Courtney was SOO great!! My dog was really anxious at first as this is her first time in daycare with a new person, but by the second day Belle wasn’t nervous at all. By the end out our daycare session she didn’t mind leaving me at all. I could tell she was getting all the love while she was there and enjoyed being there! Courtney was great, she was super helpful and accommodating with start and end times and let me know if she had any concerns or issues with belle during her stay. Her little one Pucca was respectful that Belle wasn’t very playful l, though I’m sure she was disappointed! I would definitely recommend and rebook with Courtney! Thank you!!”
