About: I have taken care of dogs for over 15 years now. We always have had one dog at a time but love them dearly! We have a fenced backyard safe and clean for the dogs to roam around. If you need walks, let us know the schedule. We also rescued a puppy in Dec 2025 after our previous dog of 6 years passed away (from cancer). We have gated areas to keep pups apart for their alone time and get together for playtime! I am currently at home full time so I’m very flexible with hours and routine. I will work around the schedules to meet your dog’s needs. I have a FENCED backyard and our backyard is regularly cleaned. We have a gated area in the home to keep the dogs separate for their “me time” if needed. We also never let our dog upstairs or in the basement so if yours needs to sleep in the bed, we can’t do that. We also don’t let dogs on our couches. We love our furry family members and they should have their own furniture:) We have an XL crate if you prefer we can use it for your dog. We have several safe toys for the dogs but let me know if your pup has a tendency to get into things. We will always keep an eye out! We also have pet safe indoor plants throughout the home. If your dog has a habit of digging into pots, please let me know.

About: I have had the pleasure and joy of being able to take care of lots of different animals for over 10 years. I spent some time on a farm where taking care of sheep, pigs, chicken, ducks, and the barn cats and dogs was a daily thing. Later on, I was the proud mama of a german shepherd named Bruno who stole my heart in every way. Unfortunately he is now gone since November of 2023. Since then, my lifestyle has changed and I am not able to have another dog of my own due to long working hours four days out of the week. This was our first time using Rover and I am so happy we found Shannon. My cats are generally very shy until they get to know someone. It usually takes someone new being a guest in our home multiple times before the cats come out of hiding. Max ran for the back bedroom when the doorbell rang for our Meet & Greet with Shannon but a few minutes later he was rubbing up on her asking for affection. I was more than a little surprised. He knows who he can trust. I was very happy when Shannon sent pictures of both cats walking towards the door to greet her when she came over every day just as she said she would. We will be contacting Shannon again as soon we know we'll be away from home - we are confident we will be leaving the cats with someone who cares about animals.

She is very aware of their needs, especially being cautious on walks in the summer heat. I feel very lucky to have found such amazing help with my girls!!! Arthur was great with my girls. 2 of them a bit leary with men they don't know well but seems things went well. He locked up when done and they all seemed just fine when I got home. He has a gentle nature with the pups and that is comforting from a stranger. I highly recommend to others and will call Arthur again.
