Pet care experience
Your pets are my passion!
I have kept pets of all different kinds my entire life (dogs, cats, ponies, lizards etc.) and have worked with dogs professionally as well! From fourteen years old I worked as a dog bather at a local grooming salon and went on to work at a doggy daycare my freshman year of college. Previously I worked as a kennel attendant for a vet's office and did everything from walking, feeding, administering medications, and bathing dogs and cats on a daily basis. I have also done in-home visits for friends and family members' pets while they were away. Working with and being around animals has been a lifelong passion of mine, which is why I went to school for Wildlife Biology! Currently I work at a vet clinic as a receptionist!

Anna made my vacation significantly more relaxed. She spent actually quality time with my cat playing with him and giving him lots of pets. He seemed to really like her even though he’s a bit standoffish with new people. She stayed in communication and kept me posted on what was happening with him while I was gone.
It was very nice going away and having Anna look after my Pepper. I didn’t have to worry at all and was given a bunch of photo updates each visit. So nice to know he was being cared for so well. I’ll be using Anna next time I go away for sure.
Anna did an AMAZING job caring for our two cats while we were away. She is a great communicator and we really appreciated her thorough updates. I would highly recommend hiring Anna the next time you need care for your furbabies!

Schedule
I have just moved to the Arlington Heights area and work as a receptionist at a vet's office on Mondays-Fridays from 8am-6pm. On Tuesdays I work from 8am-1:30pm, and on weekends and evenings I am free!
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I try to follow the normal routine and schedule of the pet as closely as possible to create a smooth transition and avoid unnecessary stress! I am unable to do pet-sitting out of my own home, but am happy to visit client's homes to spend as much time with their pets as they want! I can do brief check-ins multiple times a day or stay for longer periods. I am also available for walks and work with any kinds of pets beyond cats and dogs.

A typical day
I absolutely love to spend time outside in nature! We will find somewhere local to you, such as a dog park or a pretty area that is dog-friendly and we will run and play! We may also go sit on a picnic blanket and just soak up the sun. I'd love to create new enrichment activities for your pups, such as puzzle activities and lick mats!
