About: As a kid, my family always had dogs in our home, and that's where my love for pets originated. I had two Goldens for 15 years combined, and they brought immense joy and happiness into my life. Now, I'm in a position where I can lend my expertise to help care for your beloved pets during times when you're unavailable. Right now, I'm only able to offer sitting services at your place, but I'm eager to expand my offerings in the future. Additionally, I've got more than two decades of experience in horse ownership, training, and care. So, if you need a hand with horse sitting, I've got you covered. Even though weekends are not currently scheduled please ask about my availability. I work for myself and operate from my home, which gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I'll have plenty of time to play, pet, and walk your dogs, and give them all the love and attention they need. 🧡 Even though I do not show weekends available on my calendar, please feel free to inquire if I am available. About: Hi! I'm Shannon :) I started pet sitting in my early teens and have gradually been building up my clientele ever since. I’m from Louisville, KY originally, and am currently based in Pagosa Springs, CO. Throughout my 30 years of life, I have had five dogs of my own, in addition to five cats, turtles, snakes, guinea pigs, and a chinchilla. If you think that sounds like a zoo of my own, then it won't surprise you that I worked at the Louisville Zoo as a volunteer/employee/intern for nearly 8 years! I have a lot of animal experience, so no need to worry when I'm watching your pets. In addition to caring for all my pets listed above, I also have experience caring for horses, donkeys, goats, and chickens. I have experience giving shots and oral medications so if your animals have medical needs, then I'm your girl! I look forward to meeting you and your furry/scaly/feathered friends, and feel free to contact me soon! 🏳️‍🌈 Currently, I work part-time at a local farm-to-table restaurant, so I would care for your fur babies around that schedule (currently working about 30-35 hours/week). I live in an apartment so unfortunately I am unable to house pets at my home. However, I am able to stay at clients’ homes, overnight or daily check-ins. Staying at client homes, my routine with pets includes daily feedings and water changes, lots of play and walk time, and any routine medication administration. And of course taking lots of photos to share with owners while they’re away! I have been a part of the Rover community since 2017, but most of my bookings come through word-of-mouth and social media. So don’t let my low number of reviews on here deter you, I have plenty of references available upon request ☺️🐾 **As of Spring 2025, I have started charging $30 for meet-and-greet visits. I do a lot of these meetings, and some of them fall through for one reason or another, and they end up taking a lot of my time and gas, adding mileage to my vehicle. This is to ensure my time and gas are not wasted if a booking falls through.

About: I absolutely adore animals & love spending time with them! I've had pets my entire life, primarily dogs --small & large breeds! I'm familiar with all types of breeds of dogs & temperaments. I currently have one Aussie-dog named Huckleberry, ( shown in the first couple photos )-he is super friendly with anyone & all animals! When he is around dogs he adapts to different personalities, if your dog is calm he will be calm or if they are playful he loves that too! He is excited to make new friends with your pet! I'm a small business owner & make my own schedule throughout the week. My schedule is very flexible & can adjust it to new routines for your pets special needs any day of the week! I'm very active person & love taking walks everyday around my peaceful neighborhood by Lake Pagosa! I have a clean & safe home to watch over your pet! I do not currently have a fenced in yard but will be able to walk your dog or take them potty on a long leash in my large yard! You can trust that your fur baby will be safe with me & get the attention he/she needs while you're away! **I will not take any dogs that are aggressive in nature & would prefer them to be potty trained.

About: I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs including big dogs. We take walks everyday down the road and back on leash and multiple walks around my fenced in property off leash. With lots of opportunity for yard time inside my 6-ft fenced in yard. We are located in a scenic and peaceful neighborhood in Aspen springs, approximately 6 mi west of Pagosa springs. Your dog will be able to run and play as much as it wants (supervised, of course) on my fenced in one and a half acre property. I was given my first doggie duties at the age of 5, and other than when I was in the military, dogs have always been a part of my life. I currently have 2 dogs, one is a german shepherd/catahoula mix at about 2 yrs. old (still an active and playful pup) and the other is a husky/lab mix at about 12 yrs. old. both have lots of experience with other dogs. I don't spend much time away from the property these days. I do however have a part-time job in town that will keep me away from the house for about 4 to 6 hours and it's no problem taking an extended break if dogs need attention. You can be assured that when I'm away your pups will be safe, secure and comfortable. With plenty of space to stretch out in my three bedroom home. I live on just over an acre, in a nice qiuet country setting. The property is completely fenced in and gated with lots of trees and bushes there's also an "inner" yard surrounded by a 6ft cedar fence coming off the back porch of the house.

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs—my mom bred Basset Hounds, and our home was always full of puppies! I’ve cared for pets my whole life, from my own cats and dogs to babysitting for friends and family. Though I don’t have a dog right now, I miss the love and joy they bring. That’s why I’d love to spoil your fur babies with walks, snuggles, and care as if they were my own! I’m also comfortable giving medications—pills, eye drops, and even shots if needed. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to give your pets all the attention they need. I’m happy to care for them at your place, as long as I have Wi-Fi to work. While I don’t have a backyard, I love getting outside and going on walks—dogs make it even more fun! I always prioritize safety, provide a calm and loving environment, and treat every pup like family.

About: hi my name is Chloe! My family has 4 dogs who I love to take care of. They are basically my babies. I would love to take care of your pets! I’m super reliable and pretty good about working around times for things needed to be done. I have a big heart for animals and I would love to help you out as well. I typically only work during the day, a couple times a week. So that would always give me time with your pets in the morning and all afternoon and night. If I were at my home I would play outside and stay with them till we are ready to come in. I’ll play fetch, tug, go on walks, or car rides! At others houses I would do the same, unless I am told otherwise.

About: I have taken care of several different species of animals as well has had several of my own! I strive to be a great, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter after having several bad occasions on our own! I am familiar with administering medications. I currently work evenings and my husband during the day. We usually tag team any bookings if I happen to be scheduled the evenings needed. We are both available to cuddle your fur babies. They may even be sick of our cuddles by the end! I have a fenced in yard and a very playful 3 year old Pyrenees mix that would love to have a playmate! If necessary I am able to kennel. Separate eating areas to avoid any and all problems that could arise with multiple animals. Daily walks, cuddle sessions and play time!
