About: Ive had my cat (Rumi) for nearly 6 years and grew up raising a puppy. I’ve cat/dog sat for friends (and friends of friends) over the years and have always loved getting to spend time with their cute pets. I’m no stranger to cleaning after dogs and cats and making sure they get play and cuddles in too! I’m new to Rover but have used the app to book sitters for Rumi so I know that sitters should be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy! I hope you’ll find that when you book with me. 🐱🐶🫶🏽 I’m currently a graduate student at Berkeley but my class load isn’t too crazy so I have plenty of time to check in on your furry one! You can let me know your preferences but I’m flexible and easygoing and can get whatever you need - feeing, walking, playing, etc — done.

“Stephanie is wonderful!! She is punctual, great personality and my dog loved her from the beginning. They seem to have a blast together! My dog seemed very happy in the photos she sent. Totally recommend her and will book with her again!”

“Kathy was very helpful and easy to work with, she took some great photos of my furbabe and followed all my instructions perfectly! I would be thrilled to book Kathy again.”

About: ***IMMEDIATE JACK LONDON SQ ONLY FOR WALKS/DROP-INS PLEASE *** Trust is everything, especially when it comes to caring for our pups! I believe ALL dogs are stars with their own unique "genre" (Punk, EDM, R&B, Rock, Pop, easy listening) and let's face it, this is how they crack us up on a daily basis! I believe positive reinforcement, but also Cesar's Way (exercise, discipline, affection) and include lots of playfulness in the process (solo or with my pup - your preference). I enjoy assisting in ongoing training (how to improve walking on a leash, how to look good for their "Dogs playing poker" portrait, etc) while in my care. Whether it be for a brief stay or a brisk walk (A tired dog is a happy dog!) I can't wait to meet your fluffy family member and help ease your mind while you are away from them. I have worked with dogs that may be fearful or have anxiety (many often confuse with being "aggressive" when this is not the case). Being attentive on our walks at all times is paramount...I'm not one who focuses on looking at my phone constantly (unless I'm taking pics of our walk to send to you!) while letting your pup pick up or eat something they shouldn't. Many thanks! I currently work from home and have flexibility to work with local dogs for walks/drop-ins in the Jack London Square area and boarding (near or far). I have a large fenced patio and is easy to monitor the fur monsters if they want to enjoy the outdoors a bit during their day.

About: Growing up in a dog-loving household, I developed a deep connection with canines from an early age. My proudest experience was raising my own corgi from puppyhood, learning all aspects of responsible pet ownership. This hands-on experience taught me everything from training and grooming to understanding unique breed characteristics. Combined with helping care for my parents' dogs, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, daily care routines, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. As a student with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.

“Maddie is fantastic and super trustworthy! She is very communicative & takes great care of my puppy Charlie :) I am able to be at work and trust her throughout the day for drop in visits. Working with Maddie weekly has been great!”

About: Since 2022 I’ve had 2 dogs and 3 cats. Never did I think I’d be an animal mom. My babies have helped me tremendously with my mental health. I’m so grateful to be able to open my home and heart for more furry friends. I’m a stay at home wife. I left my job in April to focus on myself & my health. School starts in August (online courses), so working on my permit so I can continue to teach. My days look the same, lots of snuggles with my babies, walks along the marina, snacking together. I’m very much a homebody, now that I have a dog Im trying to get out more and be “social” lol. My babies have free range in our home. They are allowed anywhere in the apartment. Most of the time we are in bed watching the office or friends. There is an abundance of snacks and toys, dad spoils them the most. For the most part it’s pretty quiet and cozy and we have an abundance of space for more fur babes.

“I felt comfortable with Stephan taking care of my dog. He was very responsive and loved my dog (which I find to be very important) My puppy also seemed to respond to him well which makes my heart smile Thank you so much Stephan!!”

“Reijun was very attentive, sent pictures, and was able to get my cat into his carrier and to the vet. She communicated with me along the way and was very kind through the whole process.”

About: Looking for a personal oasis for your pet? 💛 Look no further in having a responsible animal lover dote on your pet(s). — I grew up around two chihuahas, a german shepard, and two friendly pomeranians at my aunt and uncle’s house. Playing, giving them treats, and making sure they stayed within neighborhood bounds were a regular for my brother and me. I’ve also had the honor to house sit for a variety of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for the needs of senior cats to playful pups to independent rescues, to mischievous kittens. With this experience, I am happy to care for and get to know more of your beloved furred ones! … It is also a special interest of mine to do training for dogs. I believe in using Positive Reinforcement and loving gentleness when it comes time to handling animals. I’m currently working towards my CBATI-KA through Grisha’s Stewart Academy and love continually learning through different trainers, educators, and under the CCPDT’s guidelines of LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimal Aversive). I also was recently certified with Pet CPR Aid with ProHero Training. Let’s book a Meet & Greet! Scheduling: I work as a FT freelancer, so please respond in a timely manner and communicate as much in advance, so I can best fit you and your pet into my schedule/space! — Some things I’d like to know from you: When is your best availability for an initial Meet & Greet? What is the size, breed, and temperament of your animal(s)? Are you ok with me posting pics of your pets? — Thank you! + Please note I will always value you and your fur babies’ comfortability first. … Your pet(s) and their personalities are the Star of the show! — Please let me know about your pet’s personal likes/dislikes, favorite toys, treats, any allergies, and/or particular preferences for comfort & joy. I also have experience administering medication, if needed and have experience (for both dogs and cats) with preparing supplements / added medicine to be mixed in with their meals. A personal side interest of mine is also doing training for dogs. So if your dog has any particular behaviors, you’d like to be worked on, let me know and we can work on tackling an issue together.

“Manny was really fantastic. Manny made specific plans (date & time) to meet me for a key and an onboarding, and was very punctual for that, which gave me a piece of mind from the very beginning. Manny even took notes during the onboarding! While we were away, Manny gave regular, insightful updates on the cats. Manny even pulled the trash can in and topped up the aquarium's water while we were away. We were put at ease during our leave, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy our time away more deeply. Even our shy cat warmed up to Manny. At the end of our trip, Manny verified with me that we got home timely and didn't need to extend care for our pets. Then, Manny returned the key to us the next day. We would happily work with Manny again in the future. This is a great, reliable sitter we've found.”

Gregory R.
“I relied on Greg to provide a safe and affectionate environment for almost two years before I moved to Southern California. My pup, Frankie, came from the shelter with a fear of men which made finding a pet sitter a challenge. I once asked my male neighbor to walk my dog as a favor, and he was afraid that my nutty little Spaniel was going to bite him! In contrast, Frankie never ever feared Greg, and that gave me peace of mind when I dropped him off. Greg was also cognizant of Frankie's sensitivities and took care to not expose him to fearful situations unnecessarily. Frankie loved going to Greg's -- even saying Greg's name around the house elicited ear perking and head tilting. Greg's dog, Theo, is a big lovebug and played well with Frankie, too. Greg is a dog lover of all sizes and will care for your fur baby like family. I never had to worry that my fur baby was going to miss his meals, his medication, or come home dirty or traumatized. If you are looking for a reliable and caring dog caregiver, I highly recommend Greg without any reservations.”

Fuliang X.
“Fulinag was amazing with our senior Golden Retriever, Daisy! He has arthritis and needs extra attention, but he made him feel right at home. He sent us daily updates with photos and made sure he took all his medications on schedule. The enclosed yard was perfect for his gentle exercise needs. We're so grateful to have found such a caring and professional sitter.”

Maddie H.

Diksha A.

“Thank you for going above and beyond when I was sick!!”

Monica G.
“Monica is a lover of all animals and shows individual attention and care towards your pet. She is attentive to their needs--both young and old--knowing what questions to ask and what to be aware of for your pet. She is also very communicative, keeping you informed with how your pet is doing when you are away which is reassuring that your animal is getting the care it needs! Also, I appreciate Monica's observance in your animal's behavior and if anything seems out of the norm, she will let you know. It is evident that her background in human behavior translates with animals as well, being attentive on how they act and behave in their environment and adjusting accordingly based on their needs. She gives her energy and love when taking care of your babies which is why I recommend her for any animal care services.”
