“Kelly took such wonderful care of our pup!! At 4 months old, Moose needs a LOT of play and attention (our training seems to go out the window when he's in a new place), but Kelly did an amazing job keeping him happy, loved, and up to speed with his commands. We could tell from the second we dropped him off that she knew exactly how to handle his puppy energy, and she sent us pictures and updates throughout the day to let us know how things were going. She even sent him home with his favorite snacks!! We will definitely rebook with Kelly in the future :)”

“Lilly has looked over my energetic puppy Juice before & when I was in last minute need for a sitter she was quick to step in a look after him. Lilly sent plenty of updates and most importantly Juice enjoys his time with her. Thank you once again!”

“Baxter has stayed Andrea and her pups twice for daycare, with hopefully more days to come! Andrea has a gentle, kind spirit and seems very attuned to a dog's needs. At our meet & greet, she asked great questions about Baxter and his routines. She provided fun updates with pics a few times a day -- much appreciated!”

“Excellent care ! Chad is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has a big house with a huge backyard. When I arrived for pick up, my dog was sleeping on the couch. Comfortable and safe. Thank you.”

“Aman was excellent with Deuce. He came back happy, excited, and ready to play. He sent me a pic of Deuce while in his care, and gave me updates during his time there. I’d definitely book with Aman again. He was pleasant, polite, and kept me updated. Great vibes all around.”

About: I've had dogs and pets in some capacity or another throughout my life and have loved being Sister-2-Legs to each of my four-legged siblings. I have cared for a variety of animals from young to old, mostly cats and dogs, a bird, and a few rabbits. More recently, it's been a mix of senior dogs and puppies. I'm used to balancing puppy training versus the possible complex needs of senior dogs. My own sweet spaniel passed last year, and he lost both his sight and his hearing as he aged, which presented a few challenges but was a very valuable learning experience. I'm comfortable with all ages and stages of life and love spoiling every single furred family member I care for. I adapt my schedule around your pet's needs and routines. Please message me for schedule details. I may be able to offer drop-ins, walks, or daycare either in your home or at my doggy daycare outside of the time slots listed. Daycare: My yard is fully fenced with a grass area for all kinds of running and toy play time. Everyone is welcome to sprawl out on the furniture both indoors and outside. Your dog is given as much attention and love as if they were my own. I look forward to welcoming new furry friends! Housesitting: My preference for my animals has always been to keep them in their home environment where they feel the most safe and secure. I will follow all their daily routines and any other directions provided and treat their space as if it were my own. Depending on your preference, hikes, beach trips, and other special activities can be added to the daily standards of belly rubs, walkies, and cuddles. As I also have a doggy daycare, it would be great if your pets are dog-friendly and able to participate in daycare during our stay!

“Finn had a great time with Vanessa. She’s very kind and easy to communicate with, and Finn appreciates her great yard. Finn had a great time with Vanessa’s dog Robin. We will definitely book again!”

“My dog Sasha loves KIm and Jeff, she is always overly happy to see them and hang out with them whenever she comes. Very welcoming and they helped me quickly get over my fear of my Dog being in a new environment.”

About: As a dedicated and experienced pet sitter, I am passionate about providing the best care possible for all types of pups. As a specialized pet sitter for bully breeds and small dogs, I understand the unique needs and quirks of these adorable dogs. With years of experience and a deep love for all things pup, I am committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to your furry friend. Everything from numerous short walks and playtime (temperature permitting) to feeding and medication administration, you can trust me to provide reliable and compassionate care for your dog. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. My home has ramps to access all furniture and gates to prevent pups from running up and down stairs to protect their spines and potential IVDD flare ups. Our morning starts off with a walk around the neighborhood, then it’s breakfast time which means training and play with positive reinforcement! Your pup then has playtime with toys and with my dog Penelope if they are up for it or can snooze away. We then take a quick walk during lunch to stretch our legs and say hi to our friends at Rocky’s. After work we love to be in nature and hit the trails or parks to get some steps in! After dinner I love nothing more than to cuddle with the pups on my couch before bed! We have an outdoor deck that the dogs always have access to. Mostly serves as a sunbathing lounge 😎. The deck is also equipped with grass patches for easy potty breaks. Your pup with have the company of my dog, Penelope. She is a playful and well behaved French bulldog. I have a robust routine for her to keep her healthy and prevent her from being affected from her predisposed IVDD. I can easily incorporate any special needs or request that your day may need.

About: As a Registered Nurse with 28 years of caregiving experience, I bring a calm, attentive, and compassionate approach to pet care. I personally cared for my own beloved dog for 20 years — through every life stage — including administering medications, managing special diets, and providing gentle senior care. I’m especially comfortable with: • Senior dogs and pets with special needs • Giving oral medications and supplements • Monitoring for health or behavior changes • Maintaining consistent routines • Offering lots of love, patience, and walks! My nursing background means I’m highly observant, dependable, and focused on safety and comfort. What sets me apart is that I truly understand pets are family — and I care for them with the same heart and attention I gave to my own. My husband calls me the dog whisperer! I work from home full-time, so your pup will have plenty of attention throughout the day. My home features a fully fenced, dog-friendly backyard with a doggie door leading from the deck to the yard — perfect for safe outdoor access. I live on a quiet, flat cul-de-sac in the Oakland Hills, ideal for peaceful walks. I also enjoy visiting nearby parks and hiking trails, many within walking distance, for fresh air and exercise with furry friends I have a fenced backyard dog and currently I do not have any dogs or pets of my own for the time being. I live in a safe, quiet and peaceful area. I do not require dogs to be crated.

“Jeff and Beth were amazing. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. This was my first experience with Rover and my new shelter pup Lulu. Lulu is a bit anxious and takes some time to warm up. I felt Jeff and Beth were so loving, caring and patient with her and she seemed to really settle in and enjoy herself with Jeff and Beth and the other pups. Their space inside and out is AMAZING…a dog’s delight. I plan to return soon!”

“Cassandra is the best! She’s my go to sitter for my very nervous and needy pup. Cassandra is so understanding and calm with her, sends photos and videos, and my dog is always happy with her time there.”

“Sydney was very happy with Kit. She has two friendly dogs and a beautiful home with tons of outdoor space perfectly suited for sunbathing and sniffing. Will definitely bring my pup back for a repeat visit!”

About: I’ve been training my dog since I adopted her a month ago and we are doing very well! Working on recall and finishing up crate training, soon we will be taking a class at the spca. I also care for my housemate’s cat when he is away. I go on a lot of walks with my dog and would love to help walking yours! I really enjoy walking and spending time with pets and I am usually pretty open every day. I work remote and have a pretty flexible schedule so I’m able to accommodate whatever works best for you. I am happy to follow any and all guidelines you have for your pets at home and during walks. Just let me know and I will comply!

About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.

About: Im on the hill or at the creek at least three hours a day - I work remotely so I don't have to leave anyone without companionship. Pet care IS MY LIFE..... I finally decided to share myself - It takes a village and animals should be shared and socialized. My dog is my shadow and he does well with a companion. I am a super hiker and choose trails that are off the beaten path so as not to deal with crazy dog walker crowds - I only want one dog beside my Duda.

“Poppy was welcomed early in the morning and stayed all day to play with Milkshake. I think she felt right at home when she arrived. She didn’t hesitate to explore the house and seemed unconcerned when I left. Christopher sent pictures during her visit ( but unfortunately, unfortunately, I was out of cell phone range and didn’t see them till later).”

“When Korin asked me to write a review for Rover.com I did not hesitate to submit one right away. Korin is responsible, measured and deliberate in working with dogs. She has a keen understanding of dogs and what makes their tales wag! 😉 My only complaint is that Korin moved away. Do not hesitate when you look to find care for your precious pup.”

Elisabeth D.

“Liz was great at communicating before and during Pocket's stay. Pocket seemed happy and relaxed after her stay, and Liz even managed to get her to eat during her first stay with her, which is pretty unusual!”

Daniela O.
“We can’t recommend Daniela enough. Our dog Sasha is sweet but a little sensitive—she gets anxious around other dogs, is picky with food, and can get overly excited when meeting new people. So we’ve always been really cautious about who we leave her with. Finding Daniela was such a relief. She only watches one dog at a time, which is exactly what Sasha needs. No crowded homes or chaotic pack dynamics—just calm, focused attention. Daniela lives in the Oakland Hills and takes Sasha on long walks at the regional parks nearby, and even brings her along on peaceful weekend trips to Tahoe. Honestly, Sasha goes on vacation when we can’t take her with us! Daniela’s also a nurse, and you can tell she brings that level of care to how she looks after dogs. She keeps us updated with texts and pictures, and even gives us little health and care tips when we pick Sasha up. We never feel out of the loop, and we always know Sasha is in safe, loving hands. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, especially if your pup has quirks or needs a bit of extra TLC, Daniela is the one. Lidia. ( Sasha’s mom)”

Kit Jon S.

“Sydney was very happy with Kit. She has two friendly dogs and a beautiful home with tons of outdoor space perfectly suited for sunbathing and sniffing. Will definitely bring my pup back for a repeat visit!”

Rachel Z.

“Thank you Rachel, super helpful find in a pinch! Rachel was communicative and Mochi had a safe, great, and brief stay.”

Scarlet C.
“Scarlet is a regular who drops in to feed and hang out with my cat while I'm away on trips. She sends great updates like photos and is super sweet to my cat son so I know he's being looked after well and getting his socializing/playtime in too. Scarlet is a gem!”

Shannon & Rocky D.
“My partner and I were away for two weeks, and leaving our 1-year-old puppy behind for the first time was nervewracking. From the moment we dropped him off, Shannon went above and beyond with her thoughtful care. She welcomed Sonny into her home, kept us updated with regular photos, and made sure he got plenty of playtime in her backyard and at the dog park. When he unexpectedly injured his paw at the dog park (a toenail snag), Shannon contacted our vet, took him in for treatment, and lovingly cared for him while he wore a cast and cone. We were blown away by her attentiveness, compassion, and proactive care. Knowing our pup was in her hands gave us total peace of mind. Shannon is truly exceptional. She's trustworthy, communicative, and full of heart. We couldn’t imagine a better person to care for our fur-baby, and anyone would be lucky to have her look after theirs!!!”

Noreen R.
“Noreen has been pet setting and walking our dear Puzzle for the 3 years she has been with us..... Puzzle loves her and has learned so much in her care. We would not trust anyone else with her! Puzzle' excitememt cant be contained when she hears Noreens car pull up!”
