“Breighanna is very thorough & keeps in good contact which we loved-it's great to get updates on your cats while you're away. Our cats required meds in the a.m. & p.m. and she handled it seamlessly! She really went above & beyond by taking time to play and making sure each cat was engaged! Would recommend her to anyone booking, this is someone with a true passion for detail and care with animals!”

About: It’s so hard to be away from your pup but having friends come in to visit and play makes the day feel not so long. I have had dogs my whole life. I just love their individual personalities. I typically work Monday through Friday and can pop in for an early morning visit and breakfast or stop by for a longer visit and dinner after work. My schedule is flexible so running over midway is possible if necessary. Weekends are generally wide open. I would like to work with you to meet your needs. I have 2 pups and 3 cats at home that love extra attention, playing and quiet snuggles. Nice long walks or a trip to the dog park could be a fun adventure. I’d prefer in home visits and house sitting, that way your furry friend can get to know me in a place where they are comfortable and happy :) I’m available most days and would be happy to go spend time with your pets! My pets are very particular about their schedules, so I’m used to them ruling the house haha. Dog usually goes out at three scheduled times (but more if necessary), once in the morning when we wake up, once in the afternoon, and once before bed. Let me know your feeding routine! Every pet is different, so let know how they prefer :)

“In our first meeting with Stephanie we liked her and felt confident that she would take care of our 6 month old kitten River. She sent us fun pictures and updates of her visits and it was clear that River fell in love with her (and she with him) and had great times playing with her. We would ask Stephanie to look after River any time and recommend her to anyone who needs a responsible, reliable pet sitter.”

“Hannah was awesome dropping in to feed and care for our two cats. She was able to handle our cat’s medication and subcutaneous fluids like a pro, and was very communicative with updates. We would book her again no doubt. She is a top notch pet sitter! Thank you so much Hannah!”

About: I have had small animals and a dog, and have cared for dogs, cats, horses, and fish. I am completely in love with all creatures big or small, and I've dedicated a lot of my time to the care of animals. I have recently worked at a dog boarding facility, so I have lots of experience with administering medication to animals, and tending to their specific needs. Me and my family are all super passionate about animals, especially dogs. I will love your baby just as much as I love my own, and make sure all their needs are met. My weekdays are not typically very busy so I can come and take your dog for a walk or play with your cats pretty much any time, given enough notice. Thank you so much for considering me to care for your best friend! I try to vary my jobs so my schedule changes often, but always ask! I am currently getting my BSN at HCC, but time management is no problem for me :) I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have a big field to the side of my house that my dog runs around in. I'm sure your pets will enjoy running with him. In terms of taking care of pets in my client's homes, I treat their belongings with utmost care and tact. I would definitely dislike anyone messing with my house, so I try to treat other people's houses with the same respect I would expect them to treat mine with. "leave everything as you found it or better"

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Oakdale
Brianna apparently speaks “cat”! I say that because my anxious kitty doesn’t usually warm up so quickly with someone new. The good vibes continued throughout the 5 days under her care. Brianna sent messages on how each visit went, along with wonderful photos. I imagine Bri could work well with any pet!

I've left a previous review, but I want to underline it. Jacklyn treats my cat like her own. She's formed a personal connection with my kitty, who loves her. She goes above and beyond when caring for him. He has a chronic condition, and she monitored him and his eating, cleaned up after him, and was active communicating with me regarding what was happening. I trust Jacklyn without hesitation, and it gives me great comfort to know my buddy has her caring for him.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
