I only host one dog at a time (unlike many petsitters), so your pup will be treated like family and get my full attention (and all the belly rubs they deserve). I specialize in anxious pups who do not like being with other dogs and do not like being alone - I keep my pup clients as close as they like and give them as much attention as they prefer. My husband and I have two children, 8 and 10 years old, who are very gentle and loving with dogs. We treat our guest pups like they were are own while they’re with us! All our doggy guests are welcome to make themselves at home—on the couch, in the sunny spots, wherever they’re happiest, I do not confine them to one room/zone of the house - no pet gates here! I have a large, unfenced backyard with a dog run for zoomies and potty breaks and we love getting out for walks too. I also have experience with senior dogs and administering medications, so if your pup needs a little extra TLC, they’re in good hands. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy home-away-from-home where your dog will be loved and spoiled, I’d love to be their sitter! Please note: unfortunately we have an allergy in our home to short-haired shedding dogs and can only accept long-haired (hypoallergenic) dogs :) I'm home all day to spend time with your pup and treat them like they were my own! If they’re house trained they do not need to be crated unless it’s their preference. In the house, I allow our doggy friends on furniture (unless you specify otherwise) and in all rooms of my home. They will not be separated in a different room or crated, unless you specify otherwise.

I have many years of experience: walking dogs in NYC & in Western Mass; pet-sitting for my friends', neighbors' and partner's dogs (as well as for other types of pets). I create a warm, nurturing and happy environment for my precious furry friends to thrive. (Please note: on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, I am usually available from 11 AM-5:30 PM; on Mondays & Wednesdays, I am usually available from 11 AM -12 PM) I'm currently working part-time as a educator (tutor) so I have ample time to provide dog care (walking, drop-in day care and occasional boarding) during the week, Mon-Wed and Thurs-Friday. On occasion, I may be able to board dogs during the weekend. I live in an extremely peaceful, quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood (the Plains of Easthampton) toward the end of a cul-de-sac. So there is almost no cars or traffic here. I do have a front & back yard. Although it is not fenced, it is backed by trees and, as mentioned, almost zero traffic
About: As a child, I owned almost every pet imaginable - from house cats to Rottweilers to lizards to ferrets! Bless my poor mother's heart - we practically had a small zoo at our house! As an adult I owned a cat for 5 years and also "dog /cat sat" for friends and families many times. I'm an all-around animal lover who is comfortable with many different types of pet care. I'm a stay-at-home mom with a four year old. Please be advised that if I pet-sit overnight at your home, my daughter will most likely be accompanying me for at least part of the job assignment. If you aren’t comfortable having well-behaved, well-supervised children at your home, then unfortunately I’m not a good fit your you. I have plenty of flexibility on both weekdays and weekends to provide care for your pets. I live in a pet-friendly house with a fenced-in back yard. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for walks. I also have access to a nearby park.
About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, birds and all breeds of animals since I was young. About: I have been dog walking and pet sitting since 2021 and have experience with many different breeds, as well as cats. I will adapt to your pet's energy level and make sure they get all the exercise and/or relaxation that they need! I have a very flexible schedule, and love to spend my free time taking dogs for walks on trails in the surrounding area, or just dropping in to let them outside. About: On my third birthday, a litter of puppies was born in on my kitchen floor. Best present ever! There have always been dogs in my life ever since. I've learned a great deal from them. I can't imagine my life without dogs. As a result, I have an expansive knowledge of dog breeds, training, psychology, and an ever-growing love of animals and understanding of their needs. I have even whelped a litter of puppies on my own. And in 2020, dog walking was how I paid the bills. The anxiety of having someone new care for your fur baby is something I have also suffered from.
