Hi, I’m Jacklyn! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, I’ve always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house (alongside the additional bunny and guinea pig.) My mother has been heavily involved in animal caretaking for over 30 years and as a child I would always come along to petsit for animals of all kinds. For 8 years, I volunteered at a local Animal Shelter and spent time walking, playing, cleaning, and caring for the dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and medical backgrounds. I currently own a cattle dog/corgi mix and have plenty of puppy experience and understand the needs of high-energy working breed dogs. I also have experience with senior dog care, special needs pups, and am happy to accommodate any age and size range. I am always looking forward meeting some new furry friends! 😊

Unfortunately I am unable to care for any client’s pets in my own home. However, I am willing to care for animals in their own at home environments where they are most comfortable. For drop-in and walk visits, I am prepared with plastic bags, treats, water, and additional leashes. Of course, I will respect all additional needs of the individual dog/cat and follow any specific instructions necessary for providing them with the best possible care!

My two dogs love Jacklyn. She goes above and beyond when visiting. She's the best!
Jacklyn was amazing for my first time using rover! One of my cats is very shy and hides from most people but by the end of the weekend she was coming out to greet Jacklyn and playing with her. This tells me she really took the time and care to make my shy girl comfortable around her and achieved that very quickly! Will absolutely book her again
Jacklyn was wonderful as always!! This was the longest we've been away from our kitties (2 weeks) and I was a little worried if they would be alright. But Jacklyn took great care of them and made sure they received lots of love. She made sure to check-in with any concerns (such as asking if we wanted the AC turned on) and she was always attentive and quick to respond to any messages.
Jacklyn was great, she sent me updates everyday and pictures of my two cats. First time having someone new take care of my cats in years and she was friendly, communicative, and responsible.
Superb sitter! I wouldn’t trust my elderly cat to anyone else.
Jacklyn was amazing as usual! We had to book very last minute due to a family emergency and she was very gracious and accommodating. She is so nice and reliable!!!

Programa
Alongside caring for animals, I own a pet photography business that allows me to have a flexible schedule. I have plenty of availability all days of the week to accommodate drop in visits and daily walks as needed.
