“What an amazing place to leave our fur baby. Jen and her kids were amazing to our dog. Jen sent me pics of our dog throughout his stay. Great communication too! Will definitely use again.”

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life. Starting in 2008, I got a certificate in Veterinary Assistant and worked in a clinic for about 3 years. Taking a break, I joined the Army, serving 3 years active duty, then dropping down to the Reserves, where I currently continue to serve totaling about 14 1/2 years so far. My husband is active duty Army as well. At our last duty station I started my degree for Veterinary Technician, which I continue to complete and also worked at Banfield for 2 1/2 years. I take my dog on walks almost daily. I currently am a stay at home mom, also an Army Reservist. Lots of time currently. I do plan on looking for a part time job in a veterinary clinic in the fall. I have one dog who is 9 and we have a good size backyard. My dog is currently kennel trained for when we are not home so I’m okay with kenneling your pet if needed.
“Brittany did a wonderful job with our boy Jax. She was very accommodating and responded immediately during his stay if we had questions or to check on him. He seemed to really enjoy his time with her. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to others.”

About: Hi, I’m Daphne! As a military wife, I understand that life can bring some unexpected, last minute schedule changes. So if there’s a weekend where you have to be away, I’d be more than happy to help watch over your fur baby! As a fitness instructor who values keeping an active lifestyle, I dedicate weekends to my dogs by taking them out on neighborhood walks, trails, or play dates to the dog parks — so if you need weekend care, look no further! Both of my dogs, Presley and Winston, play well with other dogs but can still be old souls who lay around and sleep all day too. While my husband is deployed until 2027, I want to continue helping out dogs in our community. A bit about our fam: We have a passion for animal rescue and welfare. We’ve fostered, volunteered, and have been active in our animal shelter. I have background handling both small and big dogs, dogs with high energy, and defeated dogs who have had overall rough lives. If we see any dog in need, no matter if it’s at 11pm, in the rain, or running through the roads, we will without hesitation, stop to help give that dog whatever it is they may need. We have come across many strays and have helped reunite them with their families or have found them forever homes with the help of our local animal shelters. Our dream life is working alongside a local animal rescue back home after military life and continuing to rescue & rehabilitate more dogs in need! If you need those “after hours” drop off/pick up times — don’t hesitate to ask! I am home on weekends all day so I am flexible with your schedule. During the week, I can provide drop-in visits anywhere from 2pm-10pm. My camera roll is filled with pics of my own dogs so you can expect constant photos, videos, and updates on your baby throughout their time with me! What you can expect: I usually separate dogs at feeding times and keep them in their individual crate overnight. This is for their safety as I wouldn’t want anything harmful happening to them overnight when I am not watching! They may behave well in your home but in new environments, I want to take extra precautions. The dogs are not inside for more than 2 hours as I let them outside for potty breaks and outdoor playtime often, with weather conditions kept in mind.
“Mr. Jeremiah was excellent. Great service and even picked her and brought back to us on time! We are thankful that he took such good care of our puppy and provided such great service! We will book with him again!”

“We are always anxious when trying a new dog sitter or boarder, but we had a wonderful experience with Heather! She was communicative, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Our dogs took to her right away, and we felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dogs (who I’m sure wanted to stay even longer haha!) — highly recommend!”

“Great communication from Kaylee and she kept us updated on how our doggie was doing. We weren't allowed through the Fort Drum gate, but that was no problem as we just met up in the Walmart parking lot nearby.”

“Giovanna is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. She took wonderful care of my dog, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. My dog is very anxious, doesn’t like being left alone, and needs lots of love, patience, and affection. Giovanna gave him all the warmth and care he needed, making sure he felt safe and comfortable throughout his stay. She sent me photos and videos every day, and we stayed in touch the whole time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend Giovanna to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter. She truly loves animals, and you can see that caring for them is her passion ❤️”

“Giovanni was amazing with my cat, T'Challa. She sent updates with photos. I was put at ease when I met her and felt good about her caring for T'Challa. When needed again, I will definitely rebook.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience with Catherine. She was always quick to respond and sent pictures and videos of our Koda daily. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future.”

“Our Maple had such a wonderful time with this family and their sweet pup. Our family was able to have a fun weekend without worry because Megan and her family took such good care of our furbaby!”

“Was great accommodated my senior dog. Sent us ample pictures and went above and beyond when they weren't eating by finding ways to help them settle in. They took the request on short notice I recommend Belle.”

About: I have experience caring for both Huskies and Golden Retrievers, which has given me insight into different energy levels, personalities, and training styles. Huskies require structure and exercise, while Golden Retrievers are eager to please and highly social. Currently, I am raising a 9-week-old Golden Retriever, focusing on early training, socialization, and building healthy daily routines. Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine and something I prioritize. Each day includes feeding, walks, playtime, and basic training, especially with my 9-week-old Golden Retriever who requires frequent attention and structure. I also make time for grooming, cleaning, and monitoring their health and behavior. Overall, caring for my pets is naturally built into my schedule and balanced alongside my other responsibilities. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, clean, and structured environment where their needs are consistently met. This includes feeding them on a regular schedule, ensuring they always have fresh water, and giving them daily exercise and playtime. I focus on training and positive reinforcement, especially with my 9-week-old Golden Retriever, to build good habits early. I also maintain grooming, keep their living areas clean, and monitor their health and behavior closely to make sure they are happy and well cared for. I have a fenced in back yard for free roam play.
“I needed a dog sitter last minute. Thank goodness she was available. She treated my dog like he was her own. She kept me well updated with pics of him like she said she would. I have no complaints. In the future if I need her again this is who I will be reaching out to. I recommend Kelcey to anyone who needs a dog sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Oak Grove
Caroline did an amazing job watching our boy over the holiday week. It was our first experience using Rover and first time leaving him with someone he did not know. Caroline sent us daily updates with pictures and video as well as how he was adjusting staying with her and her dogs. Highly recommend Caroline to watch your dog. We have a Golden Retriever and when we picked him up we can tell my boy had an amazing week of playtime with her family and fur babies. I’d definitely come back to her again. ❤️ My boy already misses his friends.

We used Heidi for this first time over the 4th of July and it went amazing! she took care of him like he was her own. Kept him on his schedule and sent constant updates on how he was doing. It allowed us to relax on our family trip knowing our fur family member was being well taken care of. We would absolutely use her again! Thank you Heidi!!

Bethany accepted to care for Ginny on short notice just a few days before the Fourth of July weekend, and I truly appreciated her flexibility. Throughout Ginny's stay, Bethany was very responsive and kept me updated regularly. Every 3–4 hours, she shared messages about what they were doing, along with daily photos and videos that gave me peace of mind. She was incredibly patient with Ginny, spent time playing with her, and made sure she felt comfortable and happy. Whenever I reached out, Bethany responded promptly and was always attentive to my messages. Ginny had an amazing time playing with Bethany's dogs, swimming in the pool, and even enjoying the rain. It was clear that she was well cared for, loved, and having fun throughout her stay. I highly recommend Bethany to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. In my opinion, she is the best Rover sitter in Clarksville, Tennessee.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
