About: Attention to your animals needs, all animals are the most precious especially seniors. I’m comfortable with giving medication, highly communicative and flexible. I know basic grooming skills, most comfortable with any breed. I know how to deal with animals with separation anxiety or anxiety issues. I’m currently a stay at home dog mom & wife. I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies while you are away. I’m available anytime, just have to work around my husbands schedule! But that shouldn’t be an issue. I also have a background working in animal care, I use to work as a kennel technician and also worked under a veterinarian. Before we even book a sitting I love to meet with my clients and fur friends to see if we’re a perfect match. I always like to know what the dog/cat is like so I can build trust more easily
“Ashton was fantastic with our three cats! She gave regular updates, took photos and was very detail oriented with our cat’s care. Would definitely recommend and book with Ashton again!”

About: I've been around animals since I was 10 years old. All types of breeds and sizes. Experienced with any temperaments. I've never met a dog that has not been a fan. I am a retired Army veteran that is looking for something to occupy my time. I am an advad animal lover. I am available any day and any time! I have a fenced in back yard in which I can be with them while outside. Dogs roam free through the home and can crate them if wanted by you.
“Leah is amazing with our cat Krystal! She has spent lots of time playing and caring for our cat while we have been away. Would 100% recommend having Leah stop by to check on your pet :)”

“Amish was awesome! Needed a late booking for a last minute trip. She responded late at night, offered to take her on a walk, and even played fetch in the backyard with her. I normally keep her in a crate throughout my work day, so having her run out all that energy is a big plus for when I come home exhausted from work. Will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Jessica was great with my little buddy! She took care of all his needs and kept him safe, and of course gave him lots of cuddles. She kept me informed of her arrival and departure, and sent a lot of pictures. She is so awesome!!”

About: What sets me apart is that I truly treat every dog like family. I have three sweet, well-loved pups of my own—a playful 1-year-old shepherd husky, a gentle 5-year-old black lab— & the sweetest 1 year old Corgi, so I understand different energy levels, personalities, and care needs. I’ve raised 2 of them since they were puppies, which gave me hands-on experience with puppy training, routines, and positive reinforcement, as well as providing calm, patient care for more mature dogs. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first, whether that means structured playtime, relaxing cuddle time, or keeping routines consistent to reduce stress. I’m attentive, dependable, and genuinely love building trust with both pets and their owners so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time stay home dog mama. My entire days revolve around my fur babies since my schedule is completely open. I’ve loved dogs my whole life and I’ve recently moved to the area from Colorado and went from an apartment to a house with a big yard so most of my days are spent outside with the fur babies. I do have a very large fully fenced in backyard and my dogs pretty much come in & out as they please. They have a large water bowl outside that is always filled and I spend time working with them and giving treats throughout the day as well.
“Nevaeh was a lifesaver for our family! We decided to take a last minute trip and I was having a hard time finding someone to watch our cat. I messaged Nevaeh and she answered me pretty much right away! She was very easy to communicate with and did an amazing job taking care of our cat. Would definitely work with her again in the future!”

About: While I may be new to Rover, I have had dogs and different pets all throughout my life, as well as having cared for other family's pets. I have experience with raising and training puppies, caring for senior dogs that just need some extra love and patience, and am familiar with all sorts of dog breeds. I have experience with Yorkshire Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Miniature Pinschers, Dachshunds, Australian shepherds, German Shepherds, and more! I also used to work at a pet store, called Pet Food Center, where I learned how to handle hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, cats, and other animals. While that may be a bit unrelated to Rover's services, it shows that I have a deep-rooted love for animals and will go above and beyond for any pet. I am currently a full-time Nuclear Medicine student that is on break for the summer semester, so I have full availability and can give pet owners a flexible schedule that best fits their needs. Balancing everyday life is difficult and I am here to make it as simple as possible. My primary goal is to make sure that both the pet owners and pet feel safe with me as their sitter. I would make it a priority to meet before any services, work out a schedule that works for everyone, and update the sitter at any given time.
“Sarah is an absolute gem!! She cared for our two elder cats with love and focused play. She was thoughtful and proactive ahead of her visits and gave continued updates with follow-up during and after our weekend away! Our kitties loved her!!!”

About: I have such a love for pups of all kinds and will give your dog endless affection! I had my own pup starting at the age of 13 and have always been around dogs for most of my life. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and board their dogs. I am always available for boarding on weekends. I can give walks anytime after 3:30pm on weekdays due to having a full time job that is Monday through Friday. When I am boarding any pet, I treat him/her as if it were my own. Depending on what is told to me from the parents, I love to bring the pup on walks around the neighborhood or on nature walks. I have a large area of grassland right across the street from where I live that gives the pup an ample amount of space.
About: I provide pet sitting. I am by no means a professional pet sitter. I am plainly a loving pet owner who doesn’t mind welcoming other dogs or cats in my home. I will offer plenty of attention and love to your pets as I do my own! My pets have always been good with other pets. I prefer any pets I host to be good with other pets too. If they aren’t good with cats or are unfamiliar, that is not an issue. My cat is smart and tends to stay out of sight, out of mind when unfamiliar faces are near :) Being good with other dogs is a must! I work a full time job as does my husband, but our older teenagers are always home and can provide more potty breaks or attention to the pets we sit. I have a fenced in yard. I prefer the pets I sit to be crate trained when they cannot be watched but otherwise they have free reign to the home.

About: I grew up raising and training big dogs and I’ve house sat animals for family members and friends in the past. I’m usually the go to person to call for animal care because they trust me to get it done for them with no issues. I’m currently in the army but I get off extremely early and I use my time to check in on all my friends animals so adding yours to my list is no problem at all. I tend to take the dogs out for walks or runs at the greenway and make sure they have plenty of food and water whenever I head out.
“Mariesa was so great! Especially last minute needing to book for holiday travel. Followed written instructions, and not once did I ever have to wonder or ask about the fur babes with her consistent photo updates! Thank you again!”
About: I’ve owned and cared for pets, dogs, cats, birds, and more since I was 10. Friends and coworkers have always felt comfortable asking me to care for their pets while out of town, knowing how deeply I cared for my own pets and really animals in general. I currently own a small dog, cat, and a guinea pig. I’ve fostered cats ( mama car and her 6 kittens) for Montgomery County Animal Control for 3 months, I dedicated one room in my home to them. I’m currently working full time, yet able to walk dogs on my lunch break and after work in the evenings. I have cared for three dogs for two years, walking them in the evening and weekends, until they moved. I took care of two of them while their owner was gone for six weeks last year and we had a great time together. I have a very large back yard where all the dogs I watch love to run around in. I allow dogs to roam around and lay on furniture. I have a large kennel available in case I need to leave the house for a few hours.
Oak Grove dog parents share their Rover experiences
This is the second time I’ve hired Megan, and she was wonderful once again! It’s clear that my dogs absolutely love spending time with her, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. She took amazing photos of them throughout her stay, and it was so nice to see them looking happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Megan is reliable, caring, and great with pets. I would happily hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic pet sitter!

Samantha did an amazing job with our fur babies. Our “elderly” girl can be a bit peculiar when around new people. She had no issue with Samantha and took right up with her. Definitely put us at ease and made our trip way more enjoyable. I highly recommend Samantha for any of your pets needs.

I couldn’t be happier with the dog drop-ins! Pedro was incredibly attentive and made sure Storm felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. I really appreciated the updates during/after each visit. The photos were a wonderful touch too; it was great seeing my dog happily playing and relaxing. Overall, the service was reliable, friendly, and truly thoughtful. I’ll definitely be booking again! 🐾💛
