About: I’ve been caring for and training dogs since I was about five years old. My childhood dog is now a retired service dog that I trained myself from the beginning, which has given me a lot of hands-on experience with training, patience, and understanding animal behavior. It also helped me develop strong skills in reading animal body language and responding to their needs. In addition to dogs, I have over 17 years of experience working with cats, including experience with cat midwifery and kitten care. To me, pets are never “just pets.” They are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own. I’m currently a nursing student at APSU, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule. Because of that, I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, drop-ins, baths, and whatever else your pet may need while you’re away. I also offer short training sessions upon request. I firmly believe every animal deserves to be treated like royalty. Many of my previous clients have become repeat clients because of the strong bonds I build with their pets. I pride myself on clear communication, reliability, and compassion so you always feel confident while your pet is in my care. He has separation anxiety, so I know how to take care of that as well. I work full-time at the University. I go on daily walks with my own dogs. I’m pretty free after work. Both of my dogs, Presley and Winston, play well with other dogs but can still be old souls who lay around and sleep all day too. We’ve fostered, volunteered, and have been active in our animal shelter. I have background handling both small and big dogs, dogs with high energy, and defeated dogs who have had overall rough lives. If we see any dog in need, no matter if it’s at 11pm, in the rain, or running through the roads, we will without hesitation, stop to help give that dog whatever it is they may need. The dogs are not inside for more than 2 hours as I let them outside for potty breaks and outdoor playtime often, with weather conditions kept in mind.
