“Rachel has watched both our GSDs multiple times now while we were away. She has great attention to detail when caring for them and is very good with them. Thank you.”

“Sarah did a great job! She followed all of our instructions for pet care and did a good job communicating with us and sharing pictures of our pets. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Samantha did an excellent job with my cat. I have a very ill cat that needed special care and she knocked it out of the park, he came healthier than I left him! 10/10 recommend!”

“Rebooked Hannah and care and communication were on point again. We are so happy to have found someone we trust and that gives us a peace of mind while travelling 🫶”

“Jaclyn saved the day! Our sitter cancelled last minute and she was so flexible and helpful. She dropped in to check on our Nash in between her other appointments. She takes the best goofy/happy pictures too and gives great updates! I like that she specifically asked if she could give Nash treats instead of assuming. She is cautious, I would request her again!”

“Amish was awesome! Needed a late booking for a last minute trip. She responded late at night, offered to take her on a walk, and even played fetch in the backyard with her. I normally keep her in a crate throughout my work day, so having her run out all that energy is a big plus for when I come home exhausted from work. Will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Rose Mary was a great sitter and went above and beyond as others have reviewed! She was prompt and on time each day for the drop ins! Highly recommend her as a sitter and we will use her again in the future.”

“Kandace took extra time before the booking to be sure our reactive dog was comfortable with her. She then spent unexpected extra time at the drop-in visit trying to coax our nervous dog out from under the bed. We are very pleased with her help and will gladly hire her again.”

“Lorrin was amazing. She was a great communicator and always asked questions if she didn’t know something or needed to adjust the times. She treated our Amir like our own and was a huge help while we are gone. She relieved so much stress and worry as we traveled and left him at home. I was able to enjoy our vacation with out worry because I knew he was in good hands. The initial meeting was great and she has a super flexible schedule. She followed every instruction that this worried mama had and she assured me that he was going to be well taken care of. 10/10!!!”

“Heidi was great. She communicated promptly and took wonderful care of our cat and even made sure my plants didn’t die. I would definitely book her again and can highly recommend.”

“June did an amazing job taking care of Mabel. During our meet and greet, I appreciated that she took down notes for Mabel's care. It made me feel reassured that I was leaving Mabel in good hands. June also provided text updates and photos during the visit.”

“Leslie you were a life saver! We can’t thank you enough for being available last minute over the holidays and taking care of our cats (that hate eachother lol), we can only hope you’re available in the future!!”

“Cambree took such good care of jelly, as always, when I was away. She always provides lovely detailed updates with lots of great photos from her drop in visits and makes me feel a lot less worried about my little fur baby at home while I’m away!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Clarksville
What a lifesaver and super responsible! We had a last minute cancellation on our pet sitter and were away for the weekend and Ariana answered us very timely and jumped in to action. She is a great communicator and went above and beyond for our pets. We would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her services again!

Maria is great with our cats, they love her, are comfortable enough to socialize, play, and sleep around her, which for one of the cats, is saying alot. They're always well fed, cared for, and definitely receive plenty of love and play during our care times when on vacation!
Ms. Patti is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Since our first booking with her we just love her so much and most importantly so do our giant fur babies. They always perk up when I tell them that Ms. Patti will be coming to care for them. They just know! We can rest easy while we are out of town and she stays in our home with them or just gone for a long day and she does a mid day drop in. She has been able to help us out in a pinch more than once. Communication before, during, and after a booking is always prompt and wonderful. We love getting photo updates that she sends as well and, on a few occasions, she has even left some special treats. There has only been one booking that she had to cancel due to a medical emergency. We truly missed her and were sure to check in with her as she recovered. This is how wonderful and trusted, loved and appreciated she is to us and our pups!

- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
