“Sarah did a great job! She followed all of our instructions for pet care and did a good job communicating with us and sharing pictures of our pets. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Samantha did an excellent job with my cat. I have a very ill cat that needed special care and she knocked it out of the park, he came healthier than I left him! 10/10 recommend!”

“Jaclyn saved the day! Our sitter cancelled last minute and she was so flexible and helpful. She dropped in to check on our Nash in between her other appointments. She takes the best goofy/happy pictures too and gives great updates! I like that she specifically asked if she could give Nash treats instead of assuming. She is cautious, I would request her again!”

“Tayler is wonderful! She was on time and sent a great update and cute pics of our dogs from her time with them. We’ll definitely be using her again and would highly recommend to others!”

“Rose Mary was a great sitter and went above and beyond as others have reviewed! She was prompt and on time each day for the drop ins! Highly recommend her as a sitter and we will use her again in the future.”

“Kandace took extra time before the booking to be sure our reactive dog was comfortable with her. She then spent unexpected extra time at the drop-in visit trying to coax our nervous dog out from under the bed. We are very pleased with her help and will gladly hire her again.”

“Lorrin was amazing. She was a great communicator and always asked questions if she didn’t know something or needed to adjust the times. She treated our Amir like our own and was a huge help while we are gone. She relieved so much stress and worry as we traveled and left him at home. I was able to enjoy our vacation with out worry because I knew he was in good hands. The initial meeting was great and she has a super flexible schedule. She followed every instruction that this worried mama had and she assured me that he was going to be well taken care of. 10/10!!!”

“Heidi was great. She communicated promptly and took wonderful care of our cat and even made sure my plants didn’t die. I would definitely book her again and can highly recommend.”

About: As a long time dog owner, knowing that a dog has the right personality there to help brighten its day is important. Especially the older generation of dogs need extra attention and care in their day to day needs. Currently I have a very wide availability to be able to assist your pet with what schedule it may need for walking or play time. Understanding that all animals have different comfort levels and care needs, I am able to follow a list of what helps your pet feel comfortable while working with a new friendly face.
“This was the second time I had June and Eric watch my cat while I was out town. They were nothing but kind and caring. I especially appreciate all the daily pictures that were sent through to make sure my cat was happy!”

“Leslie was absolutely fantastic! She took exceptional care of my fur babies and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Thank you so much for your time, dedication, and kindness. I will definitely be hiring you again in the future and highly recommend your services to others.”

“Pictures say it all! My dog was smiling from ear to ear in the pictures she took. I was SO thankful Cambree was able to check on my sweet Copper. She was flexible and able to check on my baby without much notice. She went above and beyond to make certain Copper had everything he needed while I was away. I definitely recommend her & will use again.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 11. I grew up with yorkies and cats. I can walk, feed, bathe, and much more. I’m currently working full time. I plan to fit your pets care into my days off and before/after work. There are many ways to get the care you need! I have two friendly cats that love to play. I prefer to come visit your pets. I look forward to discussing your pets care plan with you.
“100% will request Julia again! She is so good with our Nash and watched him for many days after he had emergency surgery. She made sure to give his pain meds on time, monitored his incision site, and prevented him from any harsh play or exertion while recovering. She sent many pictures and highlights throughout the visits, I felt at ease knowing that my boy was in good hands and the updates helped me not worry while at work. We did a meet and greet before the visits and she had good questions about his care, which made the actual visits go so smoothly. You can tell Julia really cares about the animals she watches as if they’re her own. I’d highly recommend!!”

“Ariana was excellent! She was very knowledgeable, professional, and clearly experienced. Communication was great throughout the entire booking, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. She also provided helpful updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear my pet was in good hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“We absolutely loved our experience with Megan! She came multiple times a day to check on our pup and took great care of her! She checked in on time everyday, and left amazing check in notes with lots of pictures of our babe! She’s the best! It was such a relief to know our pup was so well taken care of while we were on vacation! She even grabbed all our mail and packages! Thanks megan!!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Clarksville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
