“Our “Rocky” had an amazing 3.5 day vacation with Kandace and her family (human and furry lol). We could definitely tell when we picked him up he was very comfortable there. We did a meet and greet with her AND her pets, one at a time which we really appreciated. We wanted to see their interaction. We could tell the comfort of all animals matters to Kandace. We really were impressed. We have already rebooked with her for our next vacation in February and plan to rebook again for our May vacation. We definitely recommend her. She will take personal care of your pets like they are your own!!”

“Jess was a phenomenal sitter for our Stella, GSD. She took great care of her with so much love and patience and we couldn’t be more grateful. This definitely won’t be our last time. Highly recommend her! :)”

“Jennifer & her husband have become like family to us & our 2 pups. When we dropped them off for a week stay, they were excited to see Jennifer & didn’t look back at us! That’s when you know you’ve found someone who actually cares about our pups!! ❤️”

“This was my first time using Rover and was nervous, but I was so happy and impressed with the level of care Leslie and her husband showed my dog! Leslie sent me a bunch of pictures of my dog playing and having an awesome time. There was a higher level of care and attention that Leslie provided that my dog doesn’t usually get while boarding, I will be sure to use Rover and Leslie again. Thank you so much.”

“Catherine was so great! She kept me updated on how Lulu was doing and sent videos and pictures throughout the stay. She even washed the little shirt Lulu wears so it was fresh and clean when is picked her up.”

“Heather was great. I was a bit nervous at first leaving my guy with someone new, but she had me comfortable instantly and I had no worries. I don't travel too often without Gunner, and day trips he is good to stay home. I wouldn't think twice about leaving him in her care again and I will when the time comes.”

“Amirah and daisy seemed to be very happy and enjoyed their time. Tatiana provided pictures and communicated effectively in order to make us comfortable for letting our puppies stay at a new place. We are very satisfied with her care. Our pups were very excited to be there!”

“Lauren took such great care of my cat! Clean and tidy home, lots of updates and our cats got along great. My furbaby made herself right at home. Looking forward to booking with you again soon💕”

“My puppy is a handful and she took on the challenge without hesitation. Especially taking him for two weeks over the holidays, she’s awesome and I really appreciated her taking such good care of him.”

“I took my 4 month old puppy Sophie to stay with Lydia for a week. She has two dogs that made friends with Sophie right away. She has a great yard for the animals to run and play in. I received pictures and videos to make me feel more comfortable while I was gone. Sophie was well cared for and happy when I picked her up. I will definitely take Sophie to stay with Lydia again.”

“Marquia was amazing!! She kept our pup for 4 nights and our girl had the best time!!! Marquia was flexible and very communicative. I had every confidence that our pup was being very well taken care of and didn’t worry about her a single time while we were away. I would recommend Marquia to anyone and will definitely book with her again!!”

“Reliable, fun, dependable, courteous and compassionate with my fur baby! I have booked overnight stays several times and will continue to book with Eric and June! Please check them out you won’t be disappointed! They are my fur baby’s second family!!!”

“I left my older german shepherd Apollo with Roy for a week and it was a great experience! He gave me updates, gave him his medicine as instructed and took great care of him. If I needed a dog sitter again he would be my first choice!”

“Michelle took such good care of my dog, Sissy! She gave updates and sent pictures every day while she had her. I felt so comfortable that she was taking good care of her. I would definitely recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a trustworthy person to watch their dog!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs basicly all my life. I currently have an Australian Shepherd that is five years old. He is good with other dogs. He has separation anxiety, so I know how to take care of that as well. I work full-time at the University. I go on daily walks with my own dogs. I’m pretty free after work. You’re dog will feel at home:) I have a fenced in yard and I live in a house, so I have plenty of space for your pet. I also make sure that they get plenty of exercise.

Lauren was absolutely amazing with our fur baby while we were away for our wedding! Knowing our dog was in such caring and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind during such an important time in our lives. She kept us updated, made sure our pup was well cared for, and treated them like family. When we picked our dog up, they were happy, healthy, and clearly loved while we were gone. It’s obvious that Lauren genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We are so grateful for everything she did and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Lauren, for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby while we celebrated our wedding! We will definitely book with you again. ❤️🐾

Maria was the greatest!! My dog is and old lady and usually I leave her with friends who know her as she can be timid but that wasn’t an option this time around so I took to Rover and found Maria and she took care of clara so very well! Always sending me pictures and updates! Clara LOVES to be outside and Maria made sure she got her time in the sun! So thankful I was able to find her! I think Clara is already wanting to go back! Will be re-booking with her again in the future!

Michelle and her husband were the sweetest. We did a meet and greet so my nervous dog would be familiar with them and their home. They made him feel right at home. I wasn’t worried about my dog for a second. I knew he’d be in good hands. A yard to play and people to love on him.

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Clarksville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Clarksville.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
