“We used Heidi for this first time over the 4th of July and it went amazing! she took care of him like he was her own. Kept him on his schedule and sent constant updates on how he was doing. It allowed us to relax on our family trip knowing our fur family member was being well taken care of. We would absolutely use her again! Thank you Heidi!!”

“Fantastic Rover host! Jessica communicated throughout the stay, sent plenty of photos and updates, and took wonderful care of our dog. It gave us complete peace of mind, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Kandace was wonderful! I could tell Hashbrown was having a great time by all the photos she sent as she kept me updated. She even dressed him up on Christmas and sent me a super cute photo shoot by the tree. Kandace is the best!”

“June and Eric were seriously so great! I left my kittie with them for almost 2 weeks and I got update texts and pictures every single day. The updates kept me at ease and the fact that she was the only animal there and I didn’t have to worry about her sharing her food or litter box or hiding from another animal the whole time was such a peace of mind. They are both very sweet and definitely experienced in caring for animals. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them again!”

“This was our 2nd time in 2 weeks using Jennifer to watch our 2 small dogs. Im not sure our dogs were ready to leave when we picked them up!! It's obvious that Jennifer & her husband love dogs, plus they have a fenced yard. We won't take our dogs anywhere else!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs basicly all my life. I currently have an Australian Shepherd that is five years old. He is good with other dogs. He has separation anxiety, so I know how to take care of that as well. I work full-time at the University. I go on daily walks with my own dogs. I’m pretty free after work. You’re dog will feel at home:) I have a fenced in yard and I live in a house, so I have plenty of space for your pet. I also make sure that they get plenty of exercise.
“I had to make last minute accommodations for my dog. Roy was very accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout the process. I would definitely use his services again.”

“Highly recommend Jonathan to anyone looking at entrusting their dogs with a caring, responsible care giver and loving environment. Milo was nothing but happy whenever I picked him up. He had a blast!”

“Savana took my dog on short notice and really made her feel like part of the family! Can’t thank her enough for her wonderful treatment of my dog and frequent updates during her stay! Would definitely recommend and plan to use her services again!”
About: I have had a love for animals my whole life. Starting in 2008, I got a certificate in Veterinary Assistant and worked in a clinic for about 3 years. Taking a break, I joined the Army, serving 3 years active duty, then dropping down to the Reserves, where I currently continue to serve totaling about 14 1/2 years so far. My husband is active duty Army as well. At our last duty station I started my degree for Veterinary Technician, which I continue to complete and also worked at Banfield for 2 1/2 years. I take my dog on walks almost daily. I currently am a stay at home mom, also an Army Reservist. Lots of time currently. I do plan on looking for a part time job in a veterinary clinic in the fall. I have one dog who is 9 and we have a good size backyard. My dog is currently kennel trained for when we are not home so I’m okay with kenneling your pet if needed.
“My boy usually gets anxiety when I leave him with others. Miranda introduced him to her dog and they had a blast together. She took very good care of Wolfe and gave us updates about how he was doing and pictures showing how happy he was. I definitely recommend Miranda to care for your very special furry family member.”

“Leslie is amazing! Our little Mia has a blast and gets really excited when we pull up to her house! We are so happy we found someone that cares for her like we do and we can go out of town without worrying!”

About: Hi, I’m Daphne! As a military wife, I understand that life can bring some unexpected, last minute schedule changes. So if there’s a weekend where you have to be away, I’d be more than happy to help watch over your fur baby! As a fitness instructor who values keeping an active lifestyle, I dedicate weekends to my dogs by taking them out on neighborhood walks, trails, or play dates to the dog parks — so if you need weekend care full of fun for your pup, look no further! Both of my dogs, Presley and Winston, play well with other dogs but can still be old souls who lay around and sleep all day too. While my husband is deployed until 2027, I want to continue helping out dogs in our community. A bit about our fam: We have a passion for animal rescue and welfare. We’ve fostered, volunteered, and have been active in our animal shelter. I have background handling both small and big dogs, dogs with high energy, and defeated dogs who have had overall rough lives. If we see any dog in need, no matter if it’s at 11pm, in the rain, or running through the roads, we will without hesitation, stop to help give that dog whatever it is they may need. We have come across many strays and have helped reunite them with their families or have found them forever homes with the help of our local animal shelters. Our dream life is working alongside a local animal rescue back home after military life and continuing to rescue & rehabilitate more dogs in need! If you need those “after hours” drop off/pick up times — don’t hesitate to ask! I am home on weekends all day so I am flexible with your schedule. During the week, I can also provide drop-in visits anywhere from 2pm-10pm. My camera roll is filled with pics of my own dogs so you can expect constant photos, videos, and updates on your baby throughout their time with me! What you can expect: I usually separate dogs at feeding times and keep them in their individual crate overnight. This is for their safety as I wouldn’t want anything harmful happening to them overnight when I am not watching! They may behave well in your home but in new environments, I want to take extra precautions. The dogs are not inside for more than 2 hours as I let them outside for potty breaks and outdoor playtime often, with weather conditions kept in mind.
“Jessica is the best! She took good care of my dog last minute and kept me updated throughout. Very professional. The drop-off and pick-up process was smooth too. Would highly recommend!”

Caroline did an amazing job watching our boy over the holiday week. It was our first experience using Rover and first time leaving him with someone he did not know. Caroline sent us daily updates with pictures and video as well as how he was adjusting staying with her and her dogs. Highly recommend Caroline to watch your dog. We have a Golden Retriever and when we picked him up we can tell my boy had an amazing week of playtime with her family and fur babies. I’d definitely come back to her again. ❤️ My boy already misses his friends.

Giovanna is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. She took wonderful care of my dog, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. My dog is very anxious, doesn’t like being left alone, and needs lots of love, patience, and affection. Giovanna gave him all the warmth and care he needed, making sure he felt safe and comfortable throughout his stay. She sent me photos and videos every day, and we stayed in touch the whole time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend Giovanna to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter. She truly loves animals, and you can see that caring for them is her passion ❤️

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
