“I can't say enough wonderful things about Jennifer, she took such amazing care of my puppy while I was on vacation, and I had total peace of mind knowing my little one was in such loving and capable hands. I received regular updates, photos, and sweet notes about how my pup was doing, which really put me at ease. When I came home, my puppy was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. It's obvious Jennifer treats pets like their own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely caring sitter! I’ll be a repeat customer in the future for sure!”

“Kandace is really great with our Eden! Eden loves it there! Kandace always gives updates on how she is doing and Eden really has an awesome time staying there while away from us. At drop off, Kandace is super patient and sweet to her with her initial nervousness. I'm sure as soon as I pull off Eden is making new friends! We're definitely going to continue to book with her!”

“Had such a wonderful experience with Eric and June. Our dog immediately felt at home and seemed to really like staying with them. They sent pictures and were so helpful with everything. Will definitely choose them again.”

“I cannot recommend Jessica enough! This is our 43rd experience with her and she was incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and caring with my toy poodle from start to finish. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my baby was in such loving hands. You can truly tell she has a genuine love for animals and treats them like family. She went above and beyond to make sure my poodle was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable, she is absolutely the best choice for a sitter!”

“We used Heidi for this first time over the 4th of July and it went amazing! she took care of him like he was her own. Kept him on his schedule and sent constant updates on how he was doing. It allowed us to relax on our family trip knowing our fur family member was being well taken care of. We would absolutely use her again! Thank you Heidi!!”

“Kendra was great! She kept me updated and sent pictures the whole time. This was the first time I’ve used a dog sitter and I will absolutely use Kendra the next time I need someone to keep my baby.”

“The way my dog disowned me when dropping him off this time to Lydia’s. It’s his 2nd boarding experience with her and he ran in her home so quick without looking back lol Lydia is amazing as always. Excellent timely communication with photos of your pup 😍, sweet fur baby companions for your fur baby to frolic with and she’s super understanding with last minute changes, for example my flight was delayed (twice now smh 🙈) and she’s made the process so much less anxiety inducing by offering grace in those moments. 💯 repeat customer if she continues to have my running late ass and my obese baby boy”

“This being our first time using a dog sitter, it was awesome! Roy was very easy to work with. Communication was on point and he made it very easy for drop off and pick up as we had to tweak the times. He sent us pictures of Lilly while we were gone which was a plus. You can definitely tell he genuinely cares and treated our Lilly the same as we do.”

“Leslie was excellent with caring for our dogs while on vacation. She sent photos & updates which was very much appreciated. It is so nice to have that confidence in your pet sitter when away from your fur babies.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I’m very grateful that Maria was able to take Patch at the last minute on the same day I had to leave the state. She was very kind and always responded to my messages quickly. She kept me updated on how Patch was doing and sent me photos throughout his stay. I truly appreciate her care and attention. I definitely recommend her! 🐶🤍”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs basicly all my life. I currently have an Australian Shepherd that is five years old. He is good with other dogs. He has separation anxiety, so I know how to take care of that as well. I work full-time at the University. I go on daily walks with my own dogs. I’m pretty free after work. You’re dog will feel at home:) I have a fenced in yard and I live in a house, so I have plenty of space for your pet. I also make sure that they get plenty of exercise.
“Miranda was amazing with my Hazel. She sent me pictures and videos while I was on vacation and always made me feel that my little girl was safe and happy. Don't hesitate, send your fur baby over to Miranda for a mini vacation or extended stay. Shes the best”

“Isabella took really good care of our Oreo. We were hesitant to leave our senior dog due to some medical issues going on right now but Isabella was able to accommodate all of her needs. We would definitely book with her again if we need to leave Oreo again. Thank you Isabella!”

Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
