“This was our second time booking with June and she did a fabulous job taking care of our 2 kitties. She made sure to update us each day and when we returned our place was very clean. Thankful our cats were in good hands so we didn’t have to stress about that while on vacation.”

“Jessica was amazing with Jaeger and Hoosier. She done exactly what was needed to be done with them and took her time to love on both of them each time she was there. She was so patient with them, especially Jaeger since he has a had time adjusting to others. I would highly recommend her to anyone that's needs a pet sitter. She is amazing. We will definitely use her anytime we need someone to take care of our fur babies. Thank you so much Jessica!!!”

“Looove lilly! She came visit us to get to know the cats before we left. This was my first time using rover and also our first time leaving our cats after moving to a new place so I was pretty anxious. But she took such great care of my babies that I didn’t have to worry about them while we were on vacation. She made sure our cats trusted her and was so patient with them. She kept me updated and love all the pictures she sent me. TY LILLY 🤍”

About: As a long time dog owner, knowing that a dog has the right personality there to help brighten its day is important. Especially the older generation of dogs need extra attention and care in their day to day needs. Currently I have a very wide availability to be able to assist your pet with what schedule it may need for walking or play time. Understanding that all animals have different comfort levels and care needs, I am able to follow a list of what helps your pet feel comfortable while working with a new friendly face.
“This was my first time using Rover (my pups are my children and I’ve always been cautious about leaving them in the care of a stranger). I can whole heartedly say Ama and Jacob relieved all of my worries and I cannot be happier I found them to check on the boys when I have to leave for work. For every visit I was provided a thorough update, pictures and videos and knew they were in very good hands. If you’re looking for someone, don’t hesitate to book. Ama will be my go to from here on out!”

“Sarah and Patrick were absolutely wonderful with Bug! My little girl adored having them drop by and she's extremely picky with people! Upon meeting them I knew they would be extremely trustworthy to be in my home while I was gone, and I couldn't have asked for better people to care for and love on my baby girl while I was in texas!”

“Sarah is an amazing sitter. She went above and beyond making our anxious dog feel comfortable. We won’t hesitate to book Sarah again for our future sitter needs. Highly recommend.”

“Leslie was amazing!! She wasn't available for boarding but still squeezed me into her schedule to do drop ins and made sure my dogs were taken care of. She gave my dog her medicine at the right time and took great care of them. Highly recommend!!!”

“Hannah took care of our cats and bunnies for a few weeks and she was the absolute best. She is great with the animals, is super kind and communicates clearly. She also sent lots of updates with pics and the furballs loved her. Thank you Hannah!!!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure each pet feels cared for and loved. I pay close attention to instructions and love keeping owners updated with photos and messages!! As a teacher, I maintain a structured and dependable routine. During the school year, I’m available evenings and weekends. With summer break approaching, I’ll have a much more flexible schedule and increased availability throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure, and clean environment where pets can feel at ease. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding, medications, and exercise needs. I’m attentive to behavior and surroundings at all times to ensure your pet stays safe. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing :)
About: With a deep passion for animal welfare, I have developed a lifelong affinity for dogs. My household has always included at least one dog, and I have gained extensive experience in caring for them throughout my adult life. My children, now adults, grew up in dog-friendly households and have continued this tradition with their own families. I strongly believe that a home is incomplete without the companionship of a four-legged friend. I am well-versed in handling various breeds and sizes of dogs. Your dog and I will enjoy exploring the neighborhood together, discovering new sights and smells. On occasion, we may visit our local Starbucks for a pup cup treat, with your prior approval. We may also take a stroll through the nearby park, weather permitting. I understand the importance of providing dogs with opportunities to experience new environments and sensations. My ultimate goal is to ensure that your dog remains comfortable and stress-free at all times. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a meet and greet. I am available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, to provide pet care services for your fur babies. On Sundays, I am available anytime after 12:30 p.m., following church services. My residence features a fenced yard, providing a secure environment for my five pets. I diligently supervise them, limiting their time alone to brief intervals. We participate in regular walks, adjusted according to weather conditions. I prioritize their comfort, avoiding walks in extreme temperatures and taking measures to protect them from the elements.
“Lorrin was amazing. She was a great communicator and always asked questions if she didn’t know something or needed to adjust the times. She treated our Amir like our own and was a huge help while we are gone. She relieved so much stress and worry as we traveled and left him at home. I was able to enjoy our vacation with out worry because I knew he was in good hands. The initial meeting was great and she has a super flexible schedule. She followed every instruction that this worried mama had and she assured me that he was going to be well taken care of. 10/10!!!”

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life. Starting in 2008, I got a certificate in Veterinary Assistant and worked in a clinic for about 3 years. Taking a break, I joined the Army, serving 3 years active duty, then dropping down to the Reserves, where I currently continue to serve totaling about 14 1/2 years so far. My husband is active duty Army as well. At our last duty station I started my degree for Veterinary Technician, which I continue to complete and also worked at Banfield for 2 1/2 years. I take my dog on walks almost daily. I currently am a stay at home mom, also an Army Reservist. Lots of time currently. I do plan on looking for a part time job in a veterinary clinic in the fall. I have one dog who is 9 and we have a good size backyard. My dog is currently kennel trained for when we are not home so I’m okay with kenneling your pet if needed.
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the kindness and patience I bring to every pet I care for. I truly understand that every dog is unique, whether they’re a bouncy puppy learning the ropes, a senior dog needing gentle care, or a shy pet who just needs a little extra love to feel safe. I approach every pet with compassion, making sure they feel at ease and cherished in my care. From creating a nurturing routine to sending heartfelt updates to owners, I treat every furry friend like they’re part of my own family. Their happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. 🐶🐱❤️ Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. I make sure to set aside dedicated time to care for pets, whether it’s morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening cuddles. Each day starts with planning to ensure pets have everything they need, from meals and playtime to exercise and companionship. I adapt my schedule to fit the specific needs of each pet, whether that means flexible times for potty breaks, feeding, or quiet time for older dogs. On a weekly basis, I create a routine that maintains a pet’s consistency and comfort while making sure to have time for new activities and learning opportunities for puppies or energetic dogs. Pet care isn’t just a job—it’s a fulfilling part of my day that brings me joy and allows me to build strong bonds with each animal I look after. When caring for pets at a client’s home, I make their safety and comfort my top priorities. I start by getting familiar with their daily routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any special needs or preferences. I ensure the home is secure by checking for potential hazards and making sure doors and gates are properly closed. During walks or play sessions, I stay attentive to keep them safe from traffic, other animals, or any unexpected situations. I provide interactive play, walks, and plenty of affection to keep pets engaged and happy. If any special care is needed, like administering medication or following a specific diet, I make sure to follow the owner’s instructions exactly. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is important, so I keep communication open with regular updates and photos. My goal is to create a comforting environment where pets feel at ease and loved, allowing their owners to feel confident and relaxed while they’re away.
“I couldn’t be happier with the dog drop-ins! Pedro was incredibly attentive and made sure Storm felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. I really appreciated the updates during/after each visit. The photos were a wonderful touch too; it was great seeing my dog happily playing and relaxing. Overall, the service was reliable, friendly, and truly thoughtful. I’ll definitely be booking again! 🐾💛”

“Excellent sitter! She was so great with our grumpy old man and the puppies. We are really going to miss her now that we've moved. Thanks so much for all the times you took great care of our pups!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
